Description of Work: Beautiful Brazilian granite was installed and the surface mounted porcelain sink was replaced with an under mounted stainless sink. All the plumbing was disconnected by a certified plumber; customer removed stove top. The sink cut out was done at the shop, faucet holes done inside the home and stove top cut out was done on the home driveway to minimize dust. Installers, Kamuela and Mario, were very professional, worked straight through for a one day installation of approximately 50sqft of granite. A few days after the installers left, we noticed a slight portion of the counter was unlevel. We're not sure if it is due to the additional steel flat strap that was required for the granite overhang. We also noticed one of the seams is flawless in epoxy color match, the other is slightly off. I don't care to watch workers like a hawk, wish I had caught the unlevel counter and the epoxy seam being off color before the job was finished. We would use Strahle again, but next time, pay a little more attention to details. The granite counter really upgraded the kitchen. They are a great local business to deal with.

Description of Work: Strahle Tile installed granite countertops in my kitchen. Mike measured my counters first and gave me an estimate because I had to have a specific type of granite. Then I met him at the granite company and we found a slab that I wanted. The next step was going to the shop and approving the cutting layout. He had made a pattern for each section to be cut and we laid them out on the slab. Lastly the guys brought the pieces, installed and cleaned. up. My kitchen looks 100% better.

Description of Work: Finished job was beautiful and the only reason I did not give all As was they made cut out for wall electric socket and left it hanging down on counter. My daughter Emailed photo to Strahle of socket and requested someone come out and fix socket and do final check of the job. The man that came out looked at the socket and told Laura to "go to Home Depot and get some longer screws." Unsatisfactory response to single woman without mechanical skills on $6000 job! Cost no cheaper than other providers and less choice, but option we selected is very beautiful.

+ 2 moreThe work was done well. However, we had trouble getting him here when he said he'd be here. When we were at his shop and deciding on the granite, he was pre-occupied and didn't tell us we had chosen the lowest grade of granite until much later. He didn't help us make any of our choices. We were sent to a company to choose back splash tile. We were told the tile would be in a certain day and they would come install it. We had to call to find out why they didn't come. We were told the tile was no longer being produced. Finally we had to choose from tile they had in stock which wasn't even complete. The patio tile was beautiful and we asked to have them seal it. They never came to do it. The owner put one of his signs in our yard and we finally left him a message that if he didn't come pick it up, we were going to toss it. He came but we didn't see him when he came.

+ -1 moreThey beat all of the four granite quotes we received, including those from Lowes and Home Depot. The quality of work was excellent, from both their tile and granite guy. Mike, one of the service coordinators was over an hour late to my house for an appointment, which was annoying and my only bad thing to say about these guys. Other than that, they were highly responsive, left our kitchen clean and tidy and we couldn't be happier with the end result.
Description of Work: Stahle Tile and Granite replaced our laminate countertops with granite and did a complete tile blacksplash for a kitchen.

+ -1 moreWe originally contacted Strahle to discuss making a concrete countertop for a utility room and bathrooms to match a concrete countertop in our kitchen. They were very responsive and came to look at the concrete countertop the same day we phoned. Michael was quite knowledgeable about concrete and after discussing the use of concrete for these rooms, we decided to consider other materials. We visited their shop - not a particularly impressive place - to look at samples. The sample selection is quite good, not overwhelming, but adequate to provide choices. We decided to use Ceasarstone in the utility room and limestone in the bathrooms. There was a several month delay after that before we were ready to install the countertops since we had floors and cabinets being done by other contractors. Once we were ready to install, Michael came back to template the countertops and as soon as we had the sinks, quickly completed the job. The install was just completed today, and we are very pleased with the workmanship and service. The installers were very competent, friendly, and careful. The workmanship of the countertops is very good with perfect fit to the walls, sinks, etc. Overall, we would highly recommend.

They came back the next day to finish grouting edges. Overall, we are extremely pleased with the quality of granite and with the installation. If you are considering upgrading your countertop, I would highly recommend Strahle Tile & Granite.
