Stop Leak Roofing

They did a great job; it was fast, and we love our new roof. They even cleaned up after themselves, and they fixed some boards to make sure my A/C unit was more stable. I would recommend them to anyone! My roof was so bad, my insurance company wouldn't even help, but I'm so glad I found these guys on Angie's List.

In the middle of a very busy roof repair season, Stop leak was the only company that called me back in a reasonable time frame and the only one that came out quickly to do an estimate. Others took weeks to call me back and even longer to send out an estimator. They communicated that they were really backed up, like everyone else, but they were actively working to reschedule full roof replacements to open up time to do smaller repairs. It still took a couple of weeks to get them out to do the job, but they got in and got it done quickly and professionally.

Our house was designed with an open light well over the front porch, and a previous owner had covered it with a piece of Plexiglas that was cracked and leaking. A skylight over our front hall was starting to leak as well. All roofers are very busy due to recent heavy rains, but Stop Leak came out within a couple days to give me an estimate. We decided to put in a real skylight over the porch, and seal the existing skylight over the hall. Efrain, who did the estimate, took careful measurements so he could order the new skylight custom made to our skylight's dimensions. It took a couple weeks to make the new skylight, and then the Stop Leak crew came out on a Saturday morning to install it. When they removed the old Plexiglas they discovered some of the particle board roof sheathing was wet and disintegrating, so they got some plywood and replaced it at no extra charge. The new skylight fit perfectly, and they sealed the hall skylight and replaced shingles to make it all look like new again. They did a great job, and now I can sit on my front porch in the rain and not get wet. It all went very smoothly, the crew was very friendly and professional, and I am very pleased with the result.

It was over a year ago that we used Stop Leak. That was a good price. I'm not sure if they were the lowest. The quality of work was very good. We actually have called to have them give us a bid on the back part of the building that had a leak in it and they were much higher than anybody else and so we're going with just a patch job because we really think that's all we need.

I took off two days from work for the job. They showed up on time and did some other great things. However, if I wasn't there I never would of know of some of the poor quality of work. They did make sure the materials were exceptional. I did feel like I was being ripped off at times. Just wanted them to do what I paid them to do.

Company was extremely responsive and prompt in its service. It has been 3 years since the service was performed and I have had ZERO leaks or problems with my roof in the time since. I certainly will use them again if I ever need roofing and have shamelessly told people how good they are. They were right on estimate and when they left, there was absolutely not one bit of debris or trash to pick up. I was super, super impressed.

I have repeatedly used the guys at Stop Leaking roofing to repair and re-roof several of my properties. As usual, they were prompt, professional, and affordable. HIghly recommend, I'll be using them any time I need roof work in the Albuquerque area.

A leak in the roof which was causing water to come through the sheet rock and into our garage first occurred a couple of years ago. We had hired our first roofing contractor a year ago, who came out 3 times and could not find the source of the leak. When the 1-year warranty expired, the contractor threw up his hands and said there was nothing more he could do. Juan and Stop Leak Roofing was a recommendation from Angie's List. He and his crew came out, installed some flanging and patching, and thought they had it resolved. After the next rain, we called Juan back. He returned, and after much looking and poking, found the leak source where water was pooled in a tight corner of the roof. He fixed the leak, reroofed a 6x6 area, and covered it under his 1-year warranty. Juan was knowledgeable and professional, and explained in detail the problems and his approach to resolution. He was friendly and courteous. Because the leaks were apparent during their busiest time (monsoon season), we had to wait a bit to get him scheduled, but I'm very glad we did. He was a pleasure to work with, and we've not had leak problems since the repair.

I put my home on the market to sell as I am moving to California. After 8 years in my home, I had three separate leaks in my kitchen each time the rain came. My handyman had patched it twice and on the third visit he told me I had to get a roofer in to do the work. This company is very professional. They came a few days after I called. Their office hours are from 8-12 daily and I had called after 12 noon. I had another quote by another company, but picked Stop Leak Roofing due to the price and excellent recommendations from Angies List. I own a small home and the roof was 10 years old. My insurance would not pay for the new roof. My home is 885 square feet and 50 years old. It was explained that if I paid cash I would save on the tax. I paid cash and placed a deposit of $1200.00. Scheduling was one week after he quoted with a 30 year guarantee on roofing material and a 5 year guarantee on workmanship. The crew came (6 men) and they had the roof completed in 6 hours. Very satisfied company here.

They were quick to come out for quote. once I accepted bid they set a date and stuck to it. Did great job and were very cost competitive. there was a slight delay in communications but I asked for some special work and it was in middle of rainy season. All in all very pleased.

Arrived on time. Found problem, repaired. I haven't had a problem since. I recommend Stop Leak to many of my clients. The only issue with one client was with bookkeeping. He was charged twice for service and had difficulty clearing it up.Sometimes they are hard to reach by phone, yet continue to do an excellent job of roofing! and quot;Band quot; on professionalism due to hard to reach by phone.

We had a very good experience with them. The service was very good.

Since rains came this July (most since 1930!!) absolutely no leakage problems. Couldn't be happier. Friendly, professional, responsible. I highly recommend this company.

Excellent!!! They tested the repair with water hose. We have since had several rain storms and NO ISSUES.

Stop leak was highly recommended by a neighbor and we were not disappointed. They were thoroughly professional, paid a lot of attention to details, and we were competely satisfied. And it was at a very reasonable price for the amount of work done.

I had no problem with Stop Leak Roofing. Job was done efficiently and I was satisfied. I took bids. I got four or five bids and he was the best. He did two houses, my house and a rental house. I've not have any problems with anything. I have it checked and everything seems to be fine so I'm very pleased. I cant remember how many I had but he was one of the best.

Stop Leak were excellent ! They were referred by several neighbors who had roofing problems which they fixed. They showed up on time and did an amazing top on a very large multilevel flat roof home in Sandia Heights. It was a difficult jobs due to having remove an entire membrane roof which was defective. Stop Leak was professional in analyzing where my roof, sky lights and canals were having problems. They analyzing the slope and drainage of my roof. They replaced the entire roof with tar and gravel which was more appropriate for the snow and heat at our elevation. They also sealed and painted the metal over hanging trim . They took pictures of the process, called the phone company to replace internet/lines and talked with our stucco guy after the job was done. They cleaned up well very day and left no mess. I would recommend Juan Jr to anyone. They were completely honest, hardworking and sincere about the work they do. They give about a 5 year warranty. They were not the most expensive but also not not cheapest. I would stay they are average in price.

The did an excellent job as well as fixed a couple of leaks I had. One of the leaks was still there and they came back and re-patched it no charge.

We got three quotes and Stop Leak was much lower than the other two. They had great reviews on Angie's list and seemed reasonable and professional so we decided to go with them. As far as the service goes, everything went according to schedule - they completed the job in two days and cleaned up really well at the end of the job. It looks great! They gave us a warranty of 5 years for leaks and of course, here in Albuquerque, it hasn't rained yet so we will have to wait to see how well the new roof holds up and how they handle repairs if there is a leak in the future. Bottom line - we would use them again.

--- Juan Hernandez Jr. explained what work in detail and how long would be needed for repairs ---the estimate was $2,000 to $4,000 less than other estimates (one estimate was $5,000 from a roofer that specializes in TILE roofs ) --- Juan is very polite - professional and prompt --- I did not feel that I was being taken advantage of - as I would not be getting on the roof myself to verify what he had told me --- as I have felt (and was) with other service providers over the years ! Excellent job. There were several repairs done on the same spot by other roofers that did not fix the root cause of the problem. They peeled everything down and found out exactly what went wrong. They used a hose to validate that the leak is fixed and provided warranty information. Great job!!!

On the day of service, they were scheduled for 8-9 am. They did not show up until 10:30am. On arrival, I worked with them to request some additional work to be done (a roof tune-up). They were OK with the extra work, and provided me a new estimate on work to be done. It took a few more hours of time with the extra work, but I think the extra money will help keep the existing roof Ok for a few more years.

They are always extremely respectful and knowledgeable. Their price was $2-3000.00 less than the other roofers I got estimates from. I went to work and came home that night and the roof was all done and there was not mess left behind. I have referred them to friends who were just as satisfied as I was.
