Rob and Arturo (techs) showed up as expected and got right to work. I don't know if the air ducts in this house have ever been cleaned - we've been here just a year and a half - there had been paint flakes from the old evap cooler and leaves rattling in the vents when we used heat or cooling. These guys sucked so much out of the ducts, it was impressive! They worked quickly and efficiently. We have had, in another state, duct cleaners who used a more "closed" system, but Steamatic got the job done. They suggested cleaning our dryer vent - good news and bad news. Good news is they discovered not only that the vent was completely clogged and had filled back up into my new 6 month old dryer, but on investigation with my husband, found that the vent pipe had been detached from the roof vent - for god knows how long. Talk about a fire hazard! We are so thankful that Rob suggested cleaning the dryer vent, that he was so attentive to finding the reason the vent was so clogged, and that he ensured all lint was cleaned completely out. The bad news is that my new dryer was damaged when the tech climbed up on it to see/reach where the vent was behind it. Two big knee dents in the top. Steamatic was extremely professional in working with me to resolve the issue and repair the damage - I had to go through the manufacturer and their service company due to warranty - Steamatic promptly reimbursed us for the cost of repairs based on the estimate. So, we didn't even have to come up with out of pocket to get it repaired. I'll have my dryer back to like new as soon as the part can get here. Overall, it wasn't a perfect experience but, Steamatic did everything they could to make up for that. One more thing that was odd. We were having our evap cooler replaced and I would have thought that the ducts should be cleaned AFTER rather than before, so that any debris that fell into the ducts from the cooler removal work would get cleaned out. I was assured by Steamatic that the ducts should be cleaned first and I went along with this. But, sure enough when we turned on the new cooler we got a heavy dose of paint chips and dirt from the installation work.

Above expectations. I was informed when Robert was on his way, my son accepted the work, but I was informed by both my son and Robert himself with Text Pictures and verbal communication. As soon as work was completed I received another call to be informed credit card was being charged, as I had requested. We have since connected the air conditioning unit and immediately noticed air was clean and fresh. There was no hint of dust or other unusual smells. Very nice! Approval Code: H43018

Cleaned my carpets, Donald did an outstanding job. I will have my carpets cleaned again by Donald. He is the very best. I have used many company's over the years. Steamatic is always great to work with. The best carpet person in the world is Donald, he does the best job I have ever had.

It went pretty well. I was pretty happy with the overall event and what they did. My insurance paid for it.

I remember that the equipment that they brought in, the hose that they used to vacuum out the vents was very dirty and when they go around the corner it would scrape around the corner leaving dirty marks on the woodwork. I would not use them again. They were friendly and they were prompt. It's just that I noticed both times because they came back 2 times, once to the vents and once to the carpets and it was the same situation when they cleaned the carpets. They weren't cautious and careful about their equipment scraping the walls. I noticed that because we put up the woodwork ourselves, the baseboards after we had tile work done. I thought their price was high. They advertise so many rooms for whatever and the price was double from what they advertised. I can't say that the quality was bad, our carpets aren't new and they are not going to spruce up like newer carpets and they weren't what you consider quality carpets. They are in the lower end so I think they did the best they could with that. It's just that I noticed the care that they took was not what I would appreciate. They were punctual.

They had to come out here twice. The first time, they did not do the job. The second time, they didn't do pretty well either. They had to call me the third time. I didn't really like them too much. I think I have received a coupon and normally they charge $180 or something but I had an $80 coupon. The first time they came out, they did not do the pre-treatment and when they were done, they did not do any of the treatment to prevent things. The second time they came around, they only did the pre-treatment and preventive treatment in one room. I wasn't here and my wife was the only one here so I did not know exactly what happened. I would not recommend them at all.

Steamatics has been my only carpet cleaner for about 15 yrs, through cats and more recently a large breed puppy. Victor is my guy, but all of their techs over the years have been superb. Technology for really deep and stubborn stains is the best and I have really appreciated the on-site information as to what I should be asking for. Victor gives me this and also really valuable information as to why does puppy do that (!) and what I can do to avoid the behavior. Victor is especially appreciated for the ownership he shows for solving the total problem he is presented with - actually forming a relationship with the dog to help me deal with his exuberance while Victor is providing the service. This is beyond-the-call-of-duty and has much reduced the stress for me. The office has also been great. They know me and anticipate what I need and service is scheduled in a very timely manner. Kiko and his assistant arrived right on time and went to work. The machine they use is very large and they were very respectful of my furniture as they moved it around. They were obviously very experienced about where to place this huge vacuum so they minimized how many times they had to shift it. They also turned it off right away while I got my cat out of the house as she of course panicked as soon as the noise started. They were very efficient and had the job done well before they had estimated. They cleaned up after themselves pretty well. I did notice just a few tiny places where some dirt remained near a couple of the vents. That was minor. They discovered quite a few pebbles and bits of concrete debris in two of the ducts in the living room. Kiki said that might be a symptom of a collapsed place in the duct. However he couldn't diagnose it because he had not brought the camera that they can send down the ducts to check for that. I don't know if that was part of what should have gone along with a normal duct cleaning. There is still quite a bit of air coming out of the ducts so I didn't worry about it too much. In retrospect I wish I had asked that while they were here. Overall I was pleased.

I would probably use them again in the future.

Donald R.was amazing. Courteous. Friendly. Professional. Polite. After the work was done he told us how long the "sealant" would take to dry and provided "booties" so the floor wouldn't scuff before it dried. Results? The tiles were beautiful. Bright and clean. The difference was night & day! The grout WAS dark gray to black in most of the kitchen. What color is the grout NOW? The original light salmon/terra cotta color. GORGEOUS! We ok'd the job. Did the payment. Got a nice handshake. I asked for EXTRA business cards to pass out to those in need of EXCELLENT steam cleaning service. Excellent, don Rich from Steamatic showed an did agreat cleaning job and even stopped byafter 2 hrs. to take the rug back into the house, as we are both disabled.

They arrived on time and cleaned out ducts prior to a refrigerated air installation the following week. They backed their truck up to our garage and propped open the kitchen door for their big hose and due to their generator on the truck to run the equipment, my house filled up with gasoline engine exhaust. They found a wet duct and yelled at me about why I did not tell them about this before they started. (I did not know I had one!) Their work blew piles of dirt in the master bath, master bedroom and two other bedrooms. Lots of large dirt particles. Everywhere--in the toilet, on my new bedroom furniture. They left in a hurry to go to their next appointment and when we saw what had happened, I immediately called them and they sent another crew in a day or so to redo the work. The second crew did a good job. I talked with the manager and he said that they would give me a free house cleaning. They sent one their employees who spent four hours dusting two bedrooms and then left because they called her and said she had to leave. When I called the office to complain about the so-called house cleaning, they refused to let me speak to the manager who I spoke to. Instead I was only permitted to speak to the receptionist who relayed that the manager had never promised me a house cleaning and that 4 hours was all I was getting. End of story. Well, I can clean my whole house in 4 hours, so maybe if the person they had sent was more competent I could have had a house cleaning. And for the record, they never said only 4 hours. I kept notes and this is untrue Bottom line, I have had duct cleaning done in other houses and this is by far the worst experience I have ever had with duct cleaning. Dirt was everywhere--floating in my toilet, in my bathtub, on my bookcases. And I had to clean it all myself because it took them two weeks to send a house cleaner.

They came all the way from Albuquerque to Belen, in inclement weather, and arrived spot-on at 8:00 a.m. They were friendly, thorough, professional, and conscientious. In addition to the normal dirt and crud in the vents, they removed assorted filters left by previous tenants (wadded up newspapers, fly screens, etc., that had been forced and wedged into the ducts. These guys were really meticulous in getting the ducts as clean as possible. They not only finished when promised, they cleaned up after themselves very well, and even left the floors cleaner than when they arrived. We will gladly recommend this Steamatic of Albuquerque and Santa Fe shop to anyone for the services we received, and feel that they would do equally as well in their other specialty cleaning services.

I made the appointment with Valerie who was very nice over the phone and answered all my questions and worked with me on a time that met my schedule. She explained the different carpet cleaning options so I could make the best choice. I did not commit to the upholstery cleaning but she assured me I could add this if I decided to at time of appointment. Victor was on time, and added the recliner to the job order. Victor provided more information and I cannot overstate how pleasant, professional, and knowledgable he was. I had a large room, over 510 square feet, cleaned with areas that had a lot of traffic. I saw that he gave his best effort to get those areas as clean as could be. I have had my carpets cleaned before and saw the provider go over the area once and then sell me a protector because it was the only option. I may have paid a little less then, but using Steamatic was well worth the extra price for the quality service and result that we received.

Serviceman was on time and worked diligently. Very professional.

The provider called me the day before the appointment to cancel it, stating they needed to work on another house instead of mine. It made me so angry that I refused to reschedule. I had altered my schedule to accommodate the appointment. Obviously, my business was of lesser importance than another customer's.

I called Steamatic on a Monday to have my air ducts cleaned. I live about 90 miles north of their business in a rural area. The operator, Roberta, was super friendly and patient with all my complicated directions to my house. She gave me an accurate estimate over the phone and set up an appointment. I didn't have to wait long considering this is their busy season, they came that Wednesday, the same week. I paid approximately $30 dollars per duct for 2 houses. Robert and Randy did a great job. They even showed me before and after, wow! what a difference. They even did our a/c ducts and dryer ducts at no extra charge! Thanks guys! I think I could have gone with a cheaper company, but I wanted it done thoroughly because neither house had ever been done before, they are 30 and 40 years old! Now we are all breathing easier!

Don't trust these people! They do not honor their quotes, I had used this company for many years and until today was always pleased with their work. I called a few weeks ago to schedule this appointment and the girl fournd our records from the past and quoted the current price. The crew showed up when expected (also confirmed the appointment a few days prior). However when the crew came in the house they said if we wanted them to clean under the furniture, it would cost more-- that there were four levels of service and we had signed up for the cheapest one. I explained no mention was made of different levels of service or doing anything differently from what they had done previously when I place the appointment. The lead crew member called the office to ask the manager for clarification. She said he didn't have to move the furniture and clean under it for the price they had quoted. This to me is classic bait and switch. So, we dismissed them and hired someone else more honest to do the work. I am extremely disappointed in their lack of professionalism and I am letting everyone I know not to trust them. Not sure if they are under new management or have just lowered their standards.

We made an appointment - they called to remind us of our apt several days ahead of the date which I appreciated. They were to arrive between 8:45 and 9 AM and it was around 9:20 AM which wasn't a big deal. They proceeded to clean the dryer vent and explained to me how they did it. They cleaned up after they were done - wiping the floor, dryer, etc. They were very professional and I will use them again.

The company response to my dissatisfaction was positive. They were polite and expressed a desire to fix the vent and complete the job. I am pleased to be reporting that Steamatic backed up its work and came out with a full crew and two more 'quality control' men to be sure and complete the job. They were successful. I am now a satisfied customer and will use them again.
