Bought the roof inspection. They got lost, took for ever to reschedule, but finally inspected the roof and made recommendation. They noticed a leak but did not make recommends on a fix it nor scheduled a follow up on recommendations that were made. What a waste of time!

Examined our roof, re-touched the extrusions to ensure they were sealed correctly. No up charges or up selling, which was nice. Did the work in a timely and professional manner and took great care around our solar panels. I definitely recommend this provider and will use him in the future.

I had two leaks in my roof and purchased the advertised service. Nice crew spent a reasonable amount of time patching areas that looked like possible leaks. I would rate quality of work good and worth the $200 special purchase they offer on Angie's List. They showed up on the "scheduled" time but only after I called a 2nd time after being promised a call back that was not made. The issue I have is that they are way too busy (or say they are) and did not follow up on the promise to give be a quote for additional work my roof needs. The owner promised to give me an estimate later that day but I have not heard from them in over a month so I guess they do not want or cannot handle my needed additional work so I will go elsewhere. If you need a quick patch job I would recommend. If you need extensive roof work in a short time frame be sure to get assurance they can get to your needed work in the time frame you require.

Juaquin is an exceptional foreman, he was very prompt and courteous in all my interactions with him. Tom had a lot going on, so overall the timeliness of my service suffered. However I got an excellent price for the services provided, and even after the delays I'm overall happy with this purchase. You could probably pay more and get your work done faster, but these guys literally saved me hundreds over my original quote from another company. If value is important to you, I'd highly recommend these guys!

No one ever showed up to do either the roof maintenance work contracted for through Angie's List or to do the repair work. I called him back 10/12/15. He apologized for his crew not doing the work while he was gone and said he would be out that day to show his crew what needed to be done and they would get it done that week. Again, no show on either and I have had no further contact with them. It has been more than a month and they have never initiated contact with me and not kept me informed in any way of when this work might be done. We had another big rain yesterday and the roof is leaking again. At this point I am wondering what my recourse is. The $99 charge has already shown up on my credit card bill and I have received no service. Has the contractor been paid? Is it possible to get a reimbursement of this money? I do not want to attempt to work with this company further and will contract with someone else to do the work. Please let me know. Thank you.

It went very well. I will be getting in touch with them for future necessary work. Providing the photos of what will need to be done was wonderful.

I walked the roof along with Tom who pointed out everything that he was looking for. He explained what were issues and what could become an issue. While there were not any glaring roof deficiencies at this time, there were spots that needed attention and others that needed to be watched. I could see how important it is to check the roof as part of routine home maintenance and critical to have the roof repaired as soon as it became obvious. I will continue to use this company to help me maintain my roof and to replace it when appropriate.

Did a very good job. Checked the entire roof for damage/needed repairs, took pictures of anything that needed fixing. Took pictures of everything he found that needed some work, showed me the pictures of what was needed and what he had done to correct the problems, and then explained what the pictures showed. He then went with me up on the roof to show me first-hand what he found and what he had done. He also took all the time needed to fully answer all of my questions. I was very pleased with his work and would definitely recommend him to others.

I was very impressed with Tom and look forward to working with him in the future, for both of my properties. If you are looking for a well spoken, professional who knows his/her trade and who shows up on time and calls when he is on his way, Tom is you man! He inspected my roof and made it clear that it still had some life to it. He did minor maintenance and clean up. He also educated me on some of the mechanics of roofing and spent ample time explaining. I've called another local roofer for the past several years and felt satisfied with the service. Oddly he stopped returning my phone calls, texts and emails. After my experience with Southwest Roofing, I it was a blessing in disguise that the other company stopped communicating.

Tom and his team were great. Tom and Joachim, his foreman, were extremely courteous, responsive and professional. In fact, one of Tom's younger crew members was late and Tom had him appologize to me even though the inconvenience was minor. I really respect Tom for mentoring his younger crew members and it shows that he is a great boss and role model. Had to call Tom back for minor tweeking of the roof. He was in Germany and called me personally. I was truly impressed. Joachim called me the next day and made an appointment for the minor adjustment. I have confidence in this company and I hope that their customers appreciate their excellent work and customer service. I would indeed use this company again and I HIGHLY recommend their services. Kudos to Tom, Joachim and the team. Thanks for a very pleasant experience as a new resident of Albuquerque.

Southwest Roofing called within 3 days of original purchase of "Angie's List Special." The owner made an appointment for the same day and was very punctual. He surveyed the roof, took pictures of all potential problem areas and discussed them with me very thoroughly. He then repaired them. This was the best money that I ever spent on house maintenance.

Tom did a wonderful job of replacing my flat roof. All the work was started quickly and completed with quality materials and quality workmanship. Tom worked with me to make changes as required by the Home Owners Association and worked hard to make them happy. It was a very difficult job and he did it very well. I can not give him enough praise.

Provider arrived on time and immediately began inspecting my roof. inspection took about one half of an hour. I was informed that my roof was relatively in good shape but my parapets were very damaged and needed immediate care. Photos displayed quite some damage and shown where care was needed the most. My provider was very courteous and professional. I enjoyed talking and interacting with him. Was very pleased with advice provided.

Owner of business came out. He was very professional and checked out all possible sources of the leak. He sealed the skylights and all exposed nails. Gave us lots of information about the condition of our roof. He took his time and did a thorough job. Will definitely call him again if needed.

Tom at Southwest Roofing was a huge help. We've been having persistent leaks in our sunroom's metal roof. We had another contractor out just 1 year ago to fix this same problem, only to have it come back. Tom identified the problem and fixed it for a very reasonable price, and was able to help us identify other fixes to help make sure the problems with cracking sealant don't come back. Experienced and very professional, will definitely use again!

They checked roof for leaks and found none They checked the integrity of roof and found there were no problem. They sealed all the vent pipes. I feel very comfortable after they inspected our roof that we shouldn't have any problems with it in the near future.

I was in the process of selling my house, and the house inspector found problems with the roof. I wanted to get it fixed in time for the closing. There had been a lot of rain in the area, and all the roofing contractors I called were swamped. I called Southwest Roofing and got a bid the same day. When I said I had a deadline, owner Tom Nordstrand scheduled his crew in the next day. Tom showed me pictures of all the areas that needed repair and called the house inspector to be sure that his proposed repairs met the intent of the inspection report. Southwest Roofing's price was very reasonable considering the amount of repairs. I highly recommend this company to anyone in the area requiring roofing services. I would like to mention that Southwest Roofing is a small business, and supporting small businesses is a smart thing for the city because they create lots of jobs.

It was a pleasure working Joaquin. His boss, the owner, spoke of Joaquin highly and justifiably so. The total effort required two trips to our remote location. The first effort was less than a week from our order/payment in which Joaquin was assisted by Mike, presumably a young apprentice. There was a promise to finish up the following day, but as fate would have it, troubles with equipment on another job in the area and other difficulties resulted in the second of two visits to be postponed to the following day. Net, net, I would have no difficulty purchasing the $99 Roof Maintenance Package from Southwest Roofing again.

All went as planned and they quickly corrected minor issues that we noticed during inspection.

He does high quality work and his prices are reasonable. That was the reasonable mass of the prices working with the non-profit we tried of.

Roof leaked immediately after installation. They repaired that promptly. Another leak surfaced a few months later. I wound up fixing that myself because they weren't able to find it. After the warranty period expired (5 years), roof has had several more leaks. They repaired one leak and charged me. I called Tom on the last 2 leaks and he never showed up as scheduled or called. I had several new roof contractors come out and they said the roof was poorly installed and Southwest Design used the wrong type of skylights which were not installed to code with 6and quot; curbs. Southwest Design also only used one layer of felt where apparently 2 is standard. The torch down lap joints are also sub standard according to these other contractors. I don't believe he pulled permits and it is my fault for not making sure that they did. I have decided to completely reroof the entire roof as I no longer trust this one. I will only use thoroughly researched companies as a result of this experience. I'm glad Angie's list is here as another consumer protection tool.
