Description of Work: The owner came out, inspected my roof, which he informed me is in good shape. He caulked around the swamp cooler, which is rusting out and shared his concerns about that. He was, also, able to recommend the name of a good handyman that I could use. I was very satisfied with the service and would use and recommend him in the future!

Description of Work: I received this service as an Angie's List Deal. I thought it would be an easy (thrifty) way to repair an ongoing leak above a skylight, as well as to assess a leak over the portal. In his favor, he tried VERY hard to discover the cause of the leak above the skylight, deciding that it may be the caulking of the glass. That did make sense to me. He said he would contact the skylight company and call me back in a few days. As of 5 weeks later, this did not happen. He also could not find the cause of the leak over the portal. I have since hired another roofer who within 2 minutes found the probable cause of the portal leak, as well as the probable cause of the leak over the skylight, which along with caulking of the glass would entail completely resealing of the area around the light. Also in his favor, Southwest Roofing looked very carefully for things on the roof that he could repair since I had already paid the $99, which included minor repairs. He sealed a couple of small possible problems. He was very earnest in his desire to find the source of the leaks, and spent quite a while over here, being very thorough. Aside from his earnestness, I did not have faith in his level of experience. Also in his favor, he did not try to sell me anything I did not need or recommend any repairs that were not necessary. I feel that he is honest, but perhaps lacking in experience.

Description of Work: Southwest Roofing had an Angie's List coupon for $99 for roof inspection and maintenance. Thomas came out on the day he was scheduled. He showed up a little earlier than the scheduled appointment, which was nice. He spent about 2 hours on our metal roof tightening screws and adding sealant to the penetrations. He took photos of the areas he wanted to discuss with us. When he was finished he went over everything he had done with great detail and showed us the photos so we could see what he was talking about. He was very thorough, very professional, and had great recommendations for the future maintenance of our aging roof. We are very pleased with the service we got. We will be using Southwest Roofing for all of our roof maintenance from this point on.

Description of Work: We were unable to do the roof maintenance at the time due to the fact that it started raining at our scheduled time. However, the roofer was extremely knowledgeable and spent about an hour giving his professional opinion about what might be needed in the future.

Description of Work: 2 experts came to look at my 2nd story roof. They patched around vents and took photos of possible stucco issues on the parapets. When I replace my roof, they will be the only company I contact.

Description of Work: Southwest Roofing performed a thorough roof inspection and found two areas that needed to be caulked. When they finished, the service person showed me photos of the two areas they had addressed, and talked with me about an issue I should speak with my plumber about regarding the swamp cooler on my roof. I was very happy with the service provided by Southwest Roofing.

Description of Work: Vendor replaced rusted flashing on the roof which we thought was causing a leak into our attic and ceiling. After he fixed it, he told us that wasn't the problem and that we needed a cooling and heating company, that the problem was in our swamp cooler. So, he was only here an hour and a half, with a crew of three, charged $650 and didn't fix the problem. We were a little disappointed. But we got new flashing.... | |The A-F rating above is not an accurate reflection of my experience. I have not idea what the rating scale is, so I answered all "C" so I could submit the review.

Description of Work: Tom did a thorough inspection of our roof and adjoining construction and gave us a very good assessment of the condition of our roof and what areas should be addressed now and what services should be performed in the future. He and his team performed the repairs and we are looking forward to using them in the future. Extremely professional and respectful.
