Very happy with the work done. We used them earlier for a shower and outdoor plumbing problem. Would definitely recommend them for both cost and quality of service.

Closed up my two roof coolers, and turned on pilot light on heater under the house. All went well. They always do a good job.

They did a good job on the remodeling. We had one issue and they came back and cleared it up. They even had to be bumped a day and work around my subs schedule. The drain cleaning went as planned.

repaired 3 toilets to stop leakage. Provider was on time and did the required work as requested. When needed I would use them again.

He found the problem when my yard person could not.

They did not call back for 8 or 9 hours. I will not have them do the work.

This is the first time I used Simmons and the gentleman that came was on time and was professional. He also provided some advice about my sewer lines and included a little humor. Which I always enjoy.

We thought their pricing was reasonable. We were happy with their service the first time around so we chose to go with them again. They got someone here quickly and they do the job correctly. They are reasonably priced and professional.

We had a clog drain. They came out when they were supposed to and got it solved for a reasonable price.

We woke up that morning and the house was cold didn't know what happened but figured it has something to do with the heater. I went to the heater and found out it wasn't clicking on at all. No gas flames were coming out and heating up the house. I called around that morning to see if anyone could come. I called simmons 1st since they already put in a Gas stove for the house and the gentlemen that did it was the most profession and quick service. The other companies I did call called me back but wouldn't be able to get to me till the next day. Simmons was the only one that got back to me promptly and adjusted the schedual of one of it men to come out and help. Because of that we were warm in the house that morning when the storm came in a day earlier then projected.

Did a quick solution which will require being called back in the Spring. Gave information on only water heater tank they install. Said brand I was interested in was not available in this area. Not so.

I contacted this company looking to get a quote for a water leak that exists under the concrete. I spoke with a woman on the phone that seemed knowledgeable about the situation. However, I offered up details about my home owners insurance coverage and was quickly advised that they don't preform re-routes for plumbing, nor, do they bill home owners insurance after deductible is paid. All services have to paid to the company and the quote I was given was $86.50 per hour for the technician, plus any assistant charges, plus mileage and parts. More so, I don't think that there is anything wrong with a company that does not accept homeowners insurance for payment but it should be noted for future reference for anyone else utilizing their homeowners insurance to help alleviate the total out of pocket expenses.

Simmons has worked for us on a call basis for small historic inn for well over a year. They are always professional and get the job done. Reasonable rates and quick response. I highly reccommend them,

They are wonderful. I cannot say enough good things about them; whatever wonderful things you need to say. They show up on time. They do good work; they stand behind it. They are friendly, fair, and whatever good you can say about them. I just hire them, and they always come and do what they need to do. They are always absolutely fair. I think they are very reasonable. They are a family company; you know their name. You know they are coming; they call you before they come. Usually, when I have worked done on my home, I have them call me at work when they are getting ready or when he is on his way, and I just meet him here. So, I do not have any of that waiting around.

Roy came out to give an estimate and spent time with me answering my questions and talking through me about options in regard to replacing the water line. We got into a side conversation about the furnace and ended up checking the type of vent piping I had in that regard as well. Overall, very personable, knowledgeable, and showed he cared about me as an individual customer, which is one of the main reasons I went with Simmons. When giving an estimate on replacing the water line, he said he could give a general idea but preferred to give a range and tell me his hourly rate so that the final cost would be fair to both sides. I had mentioned wanting to dig the trench myself, and he definitely recommend that saying it would certainly be expensive to pay him to dig it, so he did a nice job working with me to contain costs. After deciding to go with Simmons, I got the trench dug on a Sunday and had them scheduled for Tuesday. However, when the water company came out to change the box (a good suggestion by Roy who said it would improve meter access and that my old box was collapsed--the change was at no cost to me since the water company was responsible for that part), the water line which had been rusted out started leaking so I had to have Simmons come out sooner, and Roy was able to come within a couple hours. After surveying the work, he ran to the plumbing store and got the necessary parts and got to work quickly, working with me to keep the work moving along and happy to explain how the new pex piping worked. Overall, a good experience. My primary complaint was being billed for 4 hours of work when Roy was at the house or running to the store for 2-2.5 hours; however, I understand it it typical for plumbers to charge for travel time. On a positive note, when I called to question the charge, Simmons was happy to work with me, refunding part of the charge. Despite this, the overall cost came well below 2 of the 4 estimates, which I attribute to Roy being fair in charging by the hour instead of overestimating the cost of the job up front.

Mr. Simmons was efficient, effective, professional, prepared and pleasant.

I have an old home in the UNM area that occasionally needs to have the plumbing lines for the kitchen snaked. I had contacted 2 other larger companies who indicated that they would have "technicians" come out, "diagnose the true problem" first and give me an estimate. We've owned the house for 55 yrs - we knew what it needed. Called Simmons Plumbing - the young lady on the phone was very friendly, indicated it was a family owned business with plumbers on staff w/several years experience for each of them. Additionally they were quite familiar with these old homes and the delicate nature of the pipes. Was able to send a PLUMBER out within 2 days, confirmed that all it needed was to be snaked and job was done right at that time. The price was quite reasonable as well. Very pleased with their service from start to finish. Will definitely use them again for this home.

I was very pleased with the work they did. I felt like I got to know the service men on a first name basis. I am one of these people who like to look over your shoulder. He was very attentive to my questions, and answered them very well. I appreciate it when people don't talk down to me, and treat me with respect. That certainly was the case with the installers from Simmons. I am reluctant to give anyone an A or a F, and I would use Simmons again.

My experience with them was absolutely excellent. They came before I left for work, which was a special thing to do, not something they usually do. They got it done in time for me to leave. They did it well and were courteous. They are great. I plan to use them in the future.

Our kitchen faucet, was not working properly. Roy Simmons came, looked at the faucet, told us what was likely wrong with it and how much it would likely cost to repair or replace. We discussed the different types of faucet we could get, he told us what he had available and also that we could get a faucet if we wanted a specific type that he didn't have. We got a faucet, and he installed it and also fixed the air gap that had been left vacant when the original faucet was installed. He was very prompt, pleasant, and efficient, and he left the sink area at least as clean as he'd found it. The installation was neater and the new faucet (with a pull-out spray head) works better than the old one ever did. He charged us exactly what had been quoted, and we're very satisfied. Roy also came out again this year when we called because our garbage disposal wasn't working. He examined us, cleared it, and showed us how to do the procedure ourselves if it happened again. He charged us just for the time to come out, and he didn't take the opportunity to sell us a new disposal, which he undoubtedly could have done if he were less conscientious. We plan to call Simmons again for any of our plumbing needs!

I called to request service to look at our swamp cooler today as it was HOT. I can change pads, belts, pumps, etc. I wanted someone with more experience to look at the overall operation. The phone reception person told me that they would check if this could be done and I was told that yes, they could come by and how would this morning work? Are you kidding? This morning? Why YES! That would work just fine. I was told that Troy (Mr. Simmons) could come between 11:00 and 12:00. He showed up at around 11:20 and he got to work immediately. He reviewed the swamp cooler and told me that it was working as good as any especially at 14+ years. A bit or calcium, a bit of rust (it is 14 years old...), but works fine. He did indicate the pads (with new filter material) may be decreasing air flow, He said he could replace them, but taking off the outward filter material would also be okay. This he did promptly. We were done in approx 20 min. He did suggest the option of using aspen pads (said to cool 5 deg cooler...) if this did not work out which I said I could do if needed. AWESOME! I only had to pay for the service call. (I can always call him back if I need to ...) I will definitely call them again.

Did exactly what we wanted to fix the leak and install a new hose bib.
