Description of Work: They unclogged the bathroom sink. No problems since then. |Had to ask twice to receive a copy of the paid invoice.

Description of Work: Previous homeowner had not correctly installed toilet. Plumber jackhammered through slab to get to metal pipe and meld plastic pipe to it. Connection to new toilet was then made.

Description of Work: Finished installing a new Moen cartridge in my kitchen faucet. My DIY project ended one evening when I realized that I did not have a cartridge puller. The sink was continuously leaking so the next morning I call two companies. Simmons was the first to get back to me and Joe Simmons scheduled an appointment later that morning. He arrived on time and within 1/2 hour had the old cartridge out, the new one in, tested, taken out to flush the system, reinstalled, and working.

Description of Work: He came out and replaced a hose/sprinkler connection that had frozen and split. He looked over the split connection, made a suggestion to improve the existing connection and made the repair within a couple of hours. I am happy with the work that was performed.

Description of Work: They replaced a computer part in the heater for my son and had it working that day. We all really appreciated their fast response.

Description of Work: Dean came and did a very good job. I was pleased with the work he did. |He replaced a frost-drop pipe and faucet which was really nice and he added an extra way to shut off the water in the winter so we didn't have to shut all the water off if something happens again.

Description of Work: They installed a new dishwasher we purchased.

Description of Work: Another plumbing company had suggested I needed a new water heater and had given me a preliminary estimate of the cost for a new one. It was a substantial sum, and I wanted another estimate before proceeding. I talked to Simmons whose web site mentioned free estimates. When I talked with them on the phone, the woman first said that they normally did water heater estimates over the phone. I explained that I wanted an assessment of the viability of my current heater. She agreed to have someone come out and take a look, with the visit to be included in the bill if I then used Simmons to do the work. Their plumber's assessment: it's an older heater but not necessary to replace as long as it's not leaking and heating the water satisfactorily. I took their advice and have deferred replacing the heater. There was no charge from Simmons. I was extremely pleased to find a contractor willing to give such a good common sense assessment against their own financial interest. Quite a contrast to the other guys.

Description of Work: I called them because my swamp cooler had sprung a big leak. Roy came within 20 minutes (he was in the area) and replaced the tubing and cleaned out the water and debris. Since he had worked on it the previous month, he didn't charge me anything.

Description of Work: Replaced angle stop on outdoor bar sink; replacing o-ring on the faucet spout and inspected for any other problems.

Description of Work: I called this company to install a dryer vent where one did not previously exist and while they came and gave me an estimate I was happy to use them, but that was the last I heard from them. It was raining the day they came out and they chose to not to do the work and said they would do it the following week. I called them twice to find out what kind of schedule they were working on when I never heard from them, but gave up after never hearing from them again.
