For what they did, when they did it, the job was as good as could be expected. It was still cool when they installed, so many shingles were not flat, and still aren't, so it looks a little choppy. Previous leaks were repaired in the process and I have no issues 5 months later.

Twice the roofer said he would come to make an estimate and didn't come and didn't call. If he is really that busy, why doesn't he say so? I don't feel I can trust him to come and do the work now.

I have a different kind of a roof and not everyone service them. He quoted me $294.25 for a 3 layer upvc roof repair. It was nice of him to come and inspect the roof even if he doesn?t service upvc roofs. I may use his services in future.

A review on Angie's List said the bid was good but the work was just okay. I had Roof Masters come out anyway for a bid for my roof. He was rather quick and when I asked a question about a low area on my roof and he said there was nothing we could do about it and did not offer up any suggestions. There was another area where I wanted to know if it needed to be re-done and he quickly said it was fine. I asked about the shed and he said it could just be repaired when it in fact needed a new shingle layer. He was the cheapest bid but I did not go with him because I did not have a good feeling about him.

My first interaction with Roof Master was actually the day after the storm, when I was trying to find anyone to come and replace a broken skylight before the next storm hit that same day. I contacted over a dozen roofers, handymen, and window replacement shops. Only two people I contacted even returned my phone calls that Sunday. The second call returned was Kyle. I had fixed the skylight, but I have no doubt that had I not, Kyle would have fixed it that day. After my insurance company told me that the roof would need to be replaced, I contacted Roof Masters and dozens of other roofers. (The three leading roofers on Angie?s list were included on that list. One was not excepting new clients, one could not give me a quote for at least three weeks, and the third estimated cheaper quality replacement, and we kept missing contact to rebid on better material.) Roof Master set up an appointment time, came that day, and wrote the clearest most understandable quote I received. Kyle also brought out sample roof shingles and wrote understandable options for my consideration of roof upgrades. I asked him to tell me how he would approach this project. (Basically walk me through the steps his company would take roofing my home) I wanted to hear that his folks would be harnessed and tied while working on the steep roof, and he was the only roofer that mentioned this even before I specifically asked. I awarded Roof Masters the contract and we agreed upon a start date. I wanted this done before it started to freeze or snow. The project team showed up on time, knew the requirements, and started the work immediately. They were really good. I could not believe how hard and long they worked. The entire team worked 12.5 hours straight. I didn?t really believe they could get my roof done in one day, but they did. It was really cold and they did an outstanding job. The sun started to go down, so Kyle and his team returned Sunday morning to clean-up. I mean really clean-up. You would not have known that my roof was replaced by looking around my property. The new roof looks great and it came at the right time. It?s now raining out-side and the wind is blowing around 50 mph with 70 mph gusts. Thanks Kyle, Thanks Roof Masters.
