I had read about devices that would circulate hot water all the time so it would be available immediately when the fawcett was opened. Water in my neighborhood out in the foothills is very precious, and I do not like wasting it by running it until the hot water arrives in the bathroom from the hot water heater. I saw the Big Deal on Angies list for this device. I was surprised at how much it cost to have one installed ($800 +) but the Big Deal meant it would be half price and I considered that a GOOD deal. I called the company to ask about it, and I could see that they were located south of Albuquerque, so were quite a distance from my location. The scheduler said they didn't usually come that far, so I offered to pay a travel charge, which was established at $50. This did not seem exorbitant since the long drive time would entail labor time lost to driving--probably almost a hour in one direction. The scheduler could not schedule a specific time in the near future because of other jobs but said she would look for a time when they could fit it in. After about three weeks I called again to make sure they hadn't forgotten, as I had purchased the coupon. At that time the appointment was scheduled within a few days. The service person called in advance of arriving there, which was good because he was probably going to arrive there a bit earlier than scheduled. He was very pleasant and obviously liked his job. He installed the pump very quickly, and then worked out a way for hooking of the connections needed under the bathroom sink. Since the two sinks and shower are on the same piping, the one connection circulates the hot water to all three. The service man carefully explained to me how the timer could be set on the pump so it would only run at the times I most wanted it to. It could be left on continuously as it uses very little electricity, but if that is done, the hot water heater probably would expend a bit more propane keeping the water in the pipes warm all the time. He went over the instructions with me, and went over the booklet with them as well. I felt he worked very efficiently, and quickly solved a couple of the situations that appeared, as is always the case with plumbing. The company is anxious to expand its service area. Since I would like to use them again, for plumping installation or repair, I hope they can make this happen in the Bernalillo area.

The company on the coupon was not the actual company that came out. They were more or less a referal service. Angies list should have made this more clear.We could have been told over the phone that there was nothing that could be done for our problem. What a waste of time and money.

The main water turnoff was seized up in a house we had just purchased. Reddi dealt with that efficiently and then checked other water turnoffs throughout the house. They were prompt, careful, pleasant, and capable. I would certainly use them again.

Reddi Services was excellent. He was great, he was quick and he was efficient. The problem was really small and we couldn't figure it out ourselves and he fixed it and he was good and we were happy, there was nothing wrong. They came when they said they were going to come. He called us and he did what we wanted and we were very happy with him. It was a very good deal, it was a great coupon.

If you're interested in the details, read on: I got home from work on a Friday night and found a leaking water heater. I tried to shut off the water going into the water heater, but the valve appeared to be rusted out. Water started pouring out of the top of the valve even though it was fully closed. Oh crap! Shut off the water to the house and started researching plumbers on Angie's List. I called Reddi Services first thing Saturday Morning. An expediter called back and said the tech had a couple of other jobs, but would be at my house "in a couple of hours". Cody arrived about two hours later. He quickly realized what had happened: When I turned the valve, I had inadvertently loosened the nut on top (which was stuck to the valve from not being moved for 12 years) causing it to leak profusely. He took a wrench and tightened the nut. Problem solved. Next, Cody said that he thought the valve, which was rusty and crumbling, was the source of my initial leak. He had stopped the leak, but I should have it replaced before it totally failed. He gave me quotes for several options: replace the valve only replace the valve and water heater should it prove to be actually still leaking install expansion tank and drip leg (now required by code) Each of these quotes were priced out two ways: The cost with Reddi supplied parts and labor and with parts that I supplied (labor hours only). Cody told me that the labor costs might be less, if the actual job went faster than his worst case estimate. Finally, he gave me a list of all the parts needed for each job. I couldn't be happier with the level of service he provided. After all that Cody did that day, he left without charging me a dime! After a few hours, it became apparent that the water heater was indeed leaking. Not to worry, I rigged a plastic tray under it so it dripped into a bucket. Called and scheduled for Cody to come back and do the work the following week. In the mean time, I went and bought the parts from his list. Tim and an assistant showed up to do the work. Cody couldn't make it for personal reasons. OK. We discussed the work that was going to be done based on Cody's quotes. I ended up getting an Angie's List Big Deal: $775 for a New Water Heater Plus nstallation. I supplied all the parts for the expansion tank and drip leg code updates, paying only the labor costs. Tim and his assistant (nice guy, but his name escapes me) were courteous and professional. They arrived on time and did the work as expected. I wouldn't hesitate to call Reddi Services again, whenever I have a plumbing job.

I am very happy with the addition to my house. It is very welcome in the cold winter. Reddi Services did the job really quick. I am very pleased with them. They go right to work and get the job done. The person who came was very good. Their punctuality was excellent.

Found the faucet spraying water on a Saturday. After calling a couple of A rated plumbers, and not receiving a call back, I called Reddi Services and they said they would call me when a plumber was on the way. They called at 4pm and he was there at 4:30. Worked until after dark replacing the faucet. No extra charge for it being Saturday or after hours. He was quick, on time and did a great job.

The deal says that they would install an AO Smith water heater, but the one that was installed is a gas water heater with a brand called State Select. The average water heater efficiency is 273, but the new State Select that was installed is 309 (a much inferior product). The installer also charge extra $150 for flex hose and drip leg, things that should have been included in the installation/deal.

Scheduling was a hastle. The scheduler seemed to be in Phoenix. They called and said they would not be able to make it but it was not that day anyway. The next day I waited from 2:00pm-5:00pm. Finally at 5:00 they said they would be there at 6:00pm. I had to reschedule for the next morning as I was having guests for dinner. The next morning the plumber was there on time. He worked fast and efficiently and handled cleaning out a heater, putting in a bathroom faucet, and tightening some othe facets. I had an Angie's special deal for 1 hour of work for $59!

Work performed as advertised and the water recirculatetor works great. Workers were professional and on-time, Clean-up was good and performed all safety checks.

Reddi Services was extremely professional and friendly. They called me back right away and scheduled the appointment. One worker arrived and came early. Once I told him what the problem was (a stuffed up drain and slight stench coming from the sink), he explained every step of the way what he was doing as he worked. After a couple of hours, he successfully cleared out my drain! The water went down smoothly and there was no more stench. He then set up the sewer video equipment outside my main drain and lowered the snake/light/camera down into it. The snake went out all the way to the City's main sewer, about 60 some feet. I could actually see my pipes! It was amazing. They are fine, and I'm glad to know it. All the way, the worker was extremely knowledgeable and had a nice sense of humor to boot. Mr. Tillerson called before he arrived on the day of the work. He clearly explained the work procedure before he started and he ensured that I had a chance to view the entire interior of the waste drain system from his monitor as he moved the television camera throughoutthat system. He clearly answered all my questions, including answering other plumbing related questions that I presented to him. He also warranted all drain cleaning work for 30 days if the lines needed re-cleaning.

They were on time and professional

Reddi Services ran a camera through our pipes to try to determine the problem with our back restroom. The camera came to a halt at a certain point. On a second visit, a "line finder" was used (in conjunction with the camera) to map out the location of the pipes. Explanations were given all along the way. An estimate was sent for future work. We even got a dvd showing the inside of the pipes. Should win "best picture"!

Hot water heater started leaking late Friday night. ReddiServices was the only plumbing company that returned my phone call on Saturday. Cody showed up a couple of hours after my initial call to assess the situation. He explained options regarding time frame and expense which I greatly appreciated. He had other calls/services to attend to, but he made me a list and I went out to buy the supplies myself. His return was punctual and his service was extremely professional. I did have a couple other companies return my calls after the fact and found the price I paid to be competitive if not lower. Cody and ReddiServices have made a customer for life.

I really appreciated Reddi Services because they showed up quickly when TLC Plumbing wouldn't in an emergency situation. I had water pouring out from under the bathroom sink and flooding the bathroom and an adjoining closet. I needed immediate help. The fellow who answered the phone was helpful (this was early in the morning, like about 7 am) and got somebody out to my house fast. The work that needed to be done required two visits, but Tim Tillerson, who did the work, was very professional. In fact, he had a helper with him who was his apprentice, and he was teaching him as he fixed my plumbing. I was allowed to provide my own plumbing supplies, such as the new faucet, so that the job wouldn't be as expensive. Tim explained everything he needed to do very clearly and carefully, and he had some problems he had to work around, such as an antique ceramic sink that he had to try to avoid cracking. I appreciated his careful approach and the fact that he was willing to let me reduce some of the costs. So far the repairs are working fine.
