The project was delayed a week because the supplier did not have the material we selected in stock. Rader kept us informed as to the ship date of the blinds and installed them the day after they received them.

We checked around with several vendors and gained three estimates before choosing Radar. They were not the least expensive nor were they the most expensive. Their knowledge, expertise and professionalism sold us. They offered the most aesthetically appealing option for our needs. They were reliable, arriving when they said they would, they installed the awning on time and in budget. There were no surprises and we are very pleased with the final result.

Everything went just fine.

It was perfect! It substantially cooled west facing patio. The color is well matched. The installation was attractive and done when they said it would be.

They did a good job and I'm happy with the work. The awnings look good and it's holding up against the weather really good.

I inspected their work the first time. They missed the corners and some straps. They correct their oversite. They did not remove the old strap stitching. They spliced two strap pieces together rather than use one continuous unbroken strap. This splicing indicates that profits are more important than quality of work. It is a shame they probably saved very little.

We purchased an awning from Costco and called Rader Awning because they are the authorized local installer for Sunsetter. Although we felt the price was a bit high for the mounting lumber (they quoted a separate price), we were overall very pleased with their service. They were willing to come out and install the mounting board on one trip and come back weeks later for no additional charge to do the actual installation of the awning after we had some stucco work done. They did a very professional job and cleaned up all debris. We will be calling them again if we make another awning purchase.

They have a 10% seasonal discount going on right now, so I may use them. The fellow who came out was very good and knowledgeable. He was easy going and answered all of my questions.

They were on time, did the work in an outstanding manner, cleaned up, answered all of my questions, and I am really happy with the quality of the work. We have spent many mornings and afternoons enjoying the awnings. I would definately recommend them and will use them if I ever have another similar project.

Rader's sales consultants were excellent with design and fabric options at different cost scenarios related to our budget. They sketched out great designs, offered ideas and provided a number of fabric and material options. The installation was convenient and the project turned out perfect. The house is now spruced-up and we are receiving a ton of compliments. The additional project to re-upholster our living room chairs and ottomans was great. We could match fabrics with our interior design and replace the cushions. This allowed ups to keep furniture that fits our living space while avoiding the time, expense and hassle of buying new furniture. This is a great local and family-runned business that stands behind their products and services. Thanks Rader.

Rader Awning provided excellent service from the estimate (Julie Mowery, VP & Scott Hopkins, Installation Supervisor) to the install (Luis & Edgar), to the follow-up by Julie Mowery. Rader is a longtime (38 years) local family owned and operated business. All of the personnel I dealt with were extremely professional, knowledgeable, friendly and, courteous. The shade sail they made for me was of very high quality and the service was exemplary. Rader staff were very responsive to providing what I was looking for and seeing it was exactly right. I couldn't be happier with the service and product provided by Rader Awning.

Went well but they tried to place a white pull cable on a charcoal canvas awning - they only changed it after I asked them to place the color ordered (black). It seemed the closest color they had was dk brown which looked fine.

The experience with their staff was pleasant.

Original awnings were also from Rader and, other than fading somewhat (were on west side of house) were in good shape except where overgrown tree branch had ripped one of them. Rader replaced all three (we picked a slightly darker color than the originals) and repainted the original frames, which were in excellent shape, in their shop before the installation of the new awning material. They did a great fast job and everyone at Rader was helpful and professional.

The work was good, but the communication with the guy that came out to do the estimate was not great. He had one idea and I had another idea. We thought we were on the same page until they came out to install it and we recognized that we were speaking two different languages. The final project is not a perfect project, but it works fine. We had communication issues.

After a glitch in the selection/ordering of my patio curtains, the installation went extremly well. The two men (Luis and Edgar) who installed them were fantastic, pleasant, professional, and went above and beyond what they were here to do. They removed my old patio shades, patched the holes in the stucco, and even painted over the patches. They even swept my patio before they left. I love the quality and the look of my shades. I would have rated the company an A if not for the glitch in ordering/fabric selection process.

I accepted the estimate. They were prompt in coming out and giving me an evaluation and they also gave me some good advice. The price they quoted me was $1620 and I thought it was a fair estimate. I have been comfortable working with them so far. It has gone really well so far.

We visited Rader Awning's showroom and were impressed so we set up an appointment for an estimate. The estimator came to the house and was not very friendly. He seemed to be in a hurry and just wanted to leave. We noticed this and realized then that he did not really want our business. We ordered the awning from Costco.

I did go to the showroom after Carl made his initial visit when he measured the windows for the shade and awning. I found that was extremely helpful to see the product in person. He dropped off fabric cards at my home so I could decided at my leisure which ones to choose. He also gave me fabric swatches of two materials that I inevitably chose between which was also very helpful. The installers called to make an appointment, they were on time and did an excellent job. The awning turned out to be the wrong type, so they installed it temporarilly while they made the correct one and came back and installed the new one as soon as it was completed.

When I went to pick them up, the fabric was inside out. They said that they could fix it, so they did. When I picked them up, it looked like it was done by an amateur. I guess I should have said something, but I didn't.

The initial contact resulted in an estimate being given (which was $150 less than the next lowest bidder with a good Angie's List report). The installation was done 3 days later. It was performed quickly with great professionalism and the area cleaned up perfectly. This is a company I would strongly recommend without any reservations.

I purchased a commercial building with numerous awnings, which Rader had originally done. The main awning over the front entrance had come apart at the seam and was allowing water to leak inside the building. The smaller awnings over the other windows were very dirty and needed cleaning. I contacted Rader Awning to ask if the front awning was still under warranty. They said they thought so, but I never did get a definitive answer. I also set up an appointment to have the other awnings cleaned. I was told that someone would get in touch with me to schedule the cleaning and repair. I waited two weeks before being contacted about the cleaning. I was told another person would contact me about the repair because that is handled by a different department. I scheduled the cleaning. The day and time of the appointment for the cleaning came and went. They called me that evening and told me they weren't going to be able to clean the awnings that day. I scheduled another appointment with them. They asked me if I had been contacted by the repair person yet for the front awning. I had not. They showed up a week later to clean the awnings. They did an okay job, but there was still dirt and an you can see areas that were missed on the awnings. Another week went by and I noticed the front awning had been repaired although no one ever contacted me to let me know they were there.

MY HUSBAND LOVES THAT CHAR AND HE WAS SO HAPPY WHEN HE SAW IT. THEY GOT IT DONE AS FAST AS THEY COULD SO I COULD SURPRISE HIM. IT LOOKED BEAUTIFUL AND AS GOOD AS NEW. THEY DID A WONDERFUL JOB.
