Screen wasn’t anchored properly. Have a hole in stucco that now needs to be fixed and no one has contacted us on when it will be fixed and the new screen will be installed.

They showed up over an hour late on the quote visit. The representative (Scott Hopkins) estimated that the project would take 3-4 weeks to complete (start to finish). It took three weeks to get the contract set up, then five weeks to get someone out to even measure the job, and over four months after that to complete the work. Every interaction was met with late arrivals always more than an hour late - Scott would make excuses on why he showed up late— never did he do the courtesy of calling to advise he was delayed. Then when they fabricated the shade (4 months after project start), they realized they made a mistake in measurements. They said they would turn around a fix in days- but we are here weeks after the fact still waiting for them to get the simple job done.

Their customer service was excellent! They were courteous, attentive and they always follow up. I highly recommend them.

The price was probably more than I expected but for what they did it wasn't bad and for what they make is pleasant. They managed to come even a little bit earlier than what they said they were going to. They're very professional and very nice, on time, got the job done and he was out of here. They've been around since the 50's I think. They've been here a very long time and they do all kinds of covers for boats and they do all kinds of curtains and awnings and all kinds of stuff. People in town have used them. They're a very good company.

Excellent - product is high quality, installation was completed exactly as described.

I called Rader initially in Feb. and they promptly sent out a representative. I have a set of atrium doors facing south which have been taking a beating from intense sun for several hours a day. I was not sure what the best approach would be, so the representative walked me through a variety of options including: a permanent lattice cover, fabric awnings (stationary and retractable), vertical roll curtains, and so-called "sails." I opted for a 10' x 11' sail installed to 3 stucco walls with brackets and turn buckles. The salesman was knowledgeable and provided good information on the pros and cons of each option as well as cost information. When I signed the contract on Feb. 24, I was told it would take about 2-3 weeks to installation and the work was actually completed over two days, March 14 (installation of the hardware) & 22 (mounting of the fabric sail). I was very satisfied with the final product and with all phases of interaction with company personnel. They were all very professional and did what they said they would do on a reasonably timely basis. The price I paid included a 10% discount for Angie's List members.

I schedule an appointment to get an estimate for our backyard. No one showed up. No one called terrible customer service.

My shades are still intact. Well made.

Estimate was very good, gave lots of details and information. Project went smoothly and we actually got an additional 6 feet of covered space at no additional cost.

It was quite pricey and pretty expensive. I thought they were very professional and very good. The quality of the work was good and they guarantee it.

Raider had plenty of selection and the sales rep was very helpful. Everything was done on time and they went to extra effort to install the awning before we left on vacation.

We decided to wait and look for a lower price.

I purchased a rather expensive, very large freestanding umbrella from Costco. Just 4 months later, the umbrella fabric was badly damaged by bird or rodents, Costco does not do repairs, nor would the umbrella manufacturer do anything to help. A local patio shop referred me to an upholsterer, who suggested I 'just go buy a new one'. I took the umbrella (off the stand, just the fabric portion) to Rader Awnings. They took a look, and said they could do the repair. They were able to match the fabric perfectly, both in color and type, and finished the repair within 2 weeks as promised. The panels that were repaired and/or replace are undetectable, and it looks just like new. I am extremely pleased with their work.

They did a great job! The price was fair and the installation went without a hitch. They were very courteous, respectful and professional. Both items were installed when they promised and their work was clean and neat. I would recommend them.

I have used Radar Awning 2 times now. They told me the awning would last 5 years and that is exactly how long they lasted each time. Had no problems at all with anyone in the company. I will use them again.

They were very nice and very knowledgeable. They were very helpful and had what we wanted. They showed up an hour and a half earlier than what they said which was inconvenient because I was in the middle of a meeting.

The Sales Rep was excellent, very honest, professional , attentive. The on-site manager was very knowledgeable. He came out in advance to do the pre-set-up for the labor. On-time and excellent product quality. I have had awnings before on the ocean so I had previous experience with the type of products available. The cost may be higher, but you get what you pay for.

It was fine and expensive. They told me 6 weeks but it was longer. It was not fixed and not strong in a new awning. It was a difficult installation and they really worked hard at it. They did a great job. And 2 years later, it is still standing.

Good company. I recommend Rader. I am satisfied with this purchase and product. Entire project from order to install was completed within the time quoted. Installation itself took about 4 hours. Good cleanup of the job site. Job required attaching a 20ft ledger to the house. Appears to me this awning, when extended, exerts a lot of force/torque on the ledger. This installation needs to be very well done, which was a major reason I went with Rader. Installed unit is neat and nice looking. After installation, two problems (minor, as it turned out) developed. Rader fixed them both.

Cover looks great. Allows a small amount of sunshine in. Preferable to a pergola, or a solid cover.

I worked with Lenny who was awesome to work with. Rader Awning and Upholstery custom made a couple of Banco Cushions for a custom made bench/sitting area on each side of the (inside) foyer. They were each different sizes but approximately 59"x28"x3". They made exactly what we asked for and would definitely use them again in the future if the need arises. Thanks Lenny!
