Description of Work: Owner, Jim, visited my property last October and I presented him with a written list of what I wanted done. On 10/27/16, I received a professional and reasonable quote for the list of services. The next day, 10/28/16, I replied to the email - giving my written approval of the quote and requesting that the work be done ASAP. Since I never received a reply email or call back, I followed up with emails (on 11/3, 11/11, and 11/15) and numerous phone calls. Still nothing. Then I got very busy with the holidays, other contractors messing up, and...sadly, my dad dying. After the dust settled, I started calling again to find out when Pyramid could get out to do the work. Today, after 6 months of, I think, being very patient, I gave them an ultimatum to give me a firm date within an hour. They suggested that since I was in such a hurry (?), I should perhaps find another company. They also explained that they run a small business and have to look after their core (I believe that was the word they used) customers. I run a very small business. I treat ALL of my customers, new and old, with the same respect and same level of professionalism. If I have to turn someone away, because I am busy, I usually try to help them find someone else. I would also add that Pyramid was very weird about calling in to the city to get an order in to have the utilities marked. They first suggested that I call. When I did, the city told me that Pyramid needs to call - not me. Then...when no one showed up to mark the utility lines, I had to call Pyramid to see if they had called in the order (they said they had), then I called the city (they told me they didn't have the order), then I called Pyramid back. Finally, the lines got marked, but then the markings "expired" (they expire after 10 days), since Pyramid never showed up. This whole fruitless endeavor cost me a lot of time (which = $$, since I run my own business). I also spent time choosing trees and plants to be delivered and planted after Pyramid finished their work. I eventually had to cancel that order, and will now have to go to the nursery a second time and try to find similar quality plants. I guess I just don't understand, as a small business person - as a human being, why Pyramid works this way. It's so inconsiderate and disrespectful.
