Overhead door was out the same day. Because the mechanism was 15 years old, the technician suggested getting a new one rather than try to fix the old one which may not stay fixed. There were two options priced only $20 apart. We took the pricier one which has a 15 year warranty versus a 10 year warranty.

It was a good experience. I did several calls to find somebody who would do it quickly and their price was slightly better than anybody else, and they came right away. The quality of the springs was very good the garage door opens. I think that sounds pretty good anyway. He did the job. He tested it out and he left.

When we bought the garage door there was no pressure. They came out and showed us what are options were, gave us prices, and said "You can think about and call us if you want to do it." So when we decided that we wanted to go with them because we did get estimates from other companies.It was probably a week later that they could get the door in and put up. They had to order it because it was an over sized door. They did a fantastic job without leaving a mess behind. They take their mess with them.

It went well. It was a two day job with a contractor coming out to reframe the garage and then the Overhead Door worker coming out the second day to install the door. Both were very efficient, professional and neat.

Ended up buying a new motor driver and replacing myself which was far cheaper than the replacement part and installation quoted by Overhead door.

It went very well -- although it did require a second visit because of a wiring issue. The electric opener has switches on both ends of the garage and one was not working after installation. They fixed the problem on the second visit for no charge. They seem very professional and know their stuff.

Great. When I called, the woman on the phone had me do a little trouble-shooting first. But there was nothing apparent causing the issue. The tech was polite and informative. He suggested that he fix it (turns out a gear was stripped) rather than replace. The fix didn't work. He gave me two immediate options for replacement, I selected the one I wanted and he immediately installed. He patiently answered all my questions and explained the operation of the new opener. I would definitely call Overhead Door again. They did not charge for the time the tech had spent trying to fix the old unit.

The tech was great and knew his stuff. He helped us figure out how to code the new keypad entry device to match up with our old garage door openers. He lubricated all the moving parts, tightened the nuts and bolts and made sure all the doors were balanced. We figured that was a good insurance policy, so to speak, since the openers are 18 years old. They work great.

I found this provider very accessible on a 24/7 basis, but outrageously expensive. When I called to ask about the bill, which was $15.95 higher than I was told it would be, I was told that they had no notes stating that I wanted to be enrolled in their annual maintenance program. The maintenance they did, which involved spraying lubricant on my garbage door chain did not include the lubricant. They charge by 15 minute increments.
