Description of Work: We had Narrow Leaf relocate bigger rocks in our yardm, then replace them in the targeted area with pea gravel. Every contact point was professional and thorough in information, and most importantly: the workers who showed up were respectful, polite, skilled, and not lazy at all - which for us, has been a rare occurrance in Albuquerque. It speaks very well of the ownership and his standards. The only nit pick I would have: it can take him more than a day to return a call, but I think that's indicative of his workload, not a slouchy attitude.

Description of Work: I had Tom come out to look at an area in the side yard that needed a gate to keep stray animals out. He showed me did design,colors,and hardware. I picked out the design and Tom started the process of building the gate and prepping the was were the gate would be installed. His work on the gate was beautiful. The only flaw through this process was lack of communication from the crew that was to install the gate. I got that issue worked out. Tom was very concerned about the communication problem that I had. Tom also did yard maintenance for me. The crew that came out were excellent.

Description of Work: Narrow Leaf was hired to remove a flagstone patio, put gravel and sod, sprinklers and a drip line for my very large backyard. Their crew was courteous, professional and personable, and showed up on time for the days they were scheduled. They did excellent work, and even made a raised bed out of the flagstone patio stones. At one point there was a dispute over the cost of garden soil for my raised beds that arose out of a miscommunication, and Narrow Leaf resolved the dispute to my satisfaction, courteously and professionally. As a result, I continue to recommend them and would hire them again.

Description of Work: I spoke with the top 3-rated landscapers on Angie's List, and ultimately chose Narrow Leaf because of the design they came up with for my xeriscaping project. I didn't have a very specific idea in mind of what I wanted done, so Pete sketched out a design that was a few hundred dollars more than I initially wanted to spend, but I really liked his idea and decided it was worth the extra money. I was only home for 1/2 day during the project (took 4 days to complete), and the workers were very polite, tidy, and super hard workers. The only minor oversight was that I had asked that the drip hoses be marked so that I could tap into them (or extend them) as I put in plants myself later on and and they forgot to do that, so it took me awhile to find the buried hoses on my own. This was an extremely minor concern, though, as they went above and beyond the call of duty to install a drip system to an existing tree and ground cover without charging me extra for it. Pete was very responsive and I am super happy with the end result.

Description of Work: When I called the owner to make an appointment for an estimate to xeriscape my yard, all I got was excuses on what he could not do! He told me he only works Monday through Thursday, and said that I would need to take a day off work so that he could come over. So we agreed one a Thursday morning appointment 2 weeks out at 8 am. He hemmed and hawed about the 8 am appointment and suggested one around 11 am. I told him that I cleared my morning calendar at work to meet him, and that 11 am was not possible. But he confirm the date. I had only given him my cell phone number as my primary contact number. One the day of our appointment, he did not show up. An hour after our appointed time, I called him to find out what the story was. He said he had called my workplace and left a message that he was "putting out a fire" and couldn't make our appointment. I asked, how could I answer my phone at work if I was at home. I had never given him my work number, although I had called him from that number. I had asked him to use my cell phone number. I suggest that this owner move to the next level of professionalism in his business practices. Better yet, pay more attention to respecting others.

Description of Work: They did some work for me about 6 years ago, and I remember that they were expensive. Unfortunately, one of their employees dug too deep in our yard and broke the main water line. Initially, they seemed reluctant to take the blame for it. We were without for a while. However, Narrow Leaf did fix the problem in the end.

Description of Work: They are a great resource for Aspen trees. The Aspen tree they planted for us turned out very well. I’d recommend Narrow Leaf Inc if you’re in the market for this type of tree.

Description of Work: They did some landscaping for us in the back of the house. We laid out the plans and got the materials and they did the work. They were good with communication and we are pleased with the work.
