Called three companies on Angie's List that offer window services. Discovered some companies sell and install framed windows, and some repair windows. Also, discovered that making a repaired window match the look of the other windows is difficult if glass has a coating or internal laminate. Fortunately, the double panel glass in our windows has neither. Whew! Spoke with three companies that replace broken double pane windows. One company would measure the glass and order a factory made replacement. This would take 2~3 weeks. Two companies assemble the double pane glass insert locally, which is much faster. Whether or not it is as good is to be determined. I was a little specious of the low quote I got from Mobile Screen & Glass. However, we are very pleased with everything they did. For example, the service guy took extra care to salvage and reuse the old brittle plastic seal from around the broken window so the repaired window would match the look of the other windows on the front of our house. Excellent! NOTE: The sales guy was a little impatient with me during a brief Q&A session over the telephone. But, he did not cross the line into being rude or unprofessional. Otherwise, it would have been all A's!

I'm a Realtor with a client that needed two window latch repairs. I called other window companies, and they turn their nose down at the smaller jobs. Mobile Screen and Glass showed up on time for the estimate, had the parts, and fixed the latches on the spot. My client is happy with their service and professionalism and would refer them again. I have a happy client, Mobile Screen and Glass gets an A+ from me. They will now get referrals for larger jobs I come across.

Bud was right on time both for the estimate and returning door after repairs. Both he and the work performed were very professional. The pet guard is very nice looking.

I really like the people when I called in, they were really nice and efficient. And they are prompt, they are fast. I think their pricing is fair.

My husband's only complaint was that they did not provide the extra customer service of cleaning the runners of the screen. He said it wasn't required but would have been a nice gesture of customer service. I have a number of windows that need replaced and I will use them when I am ready.

I called the day before to see if I could get a small piece of glass cut while I waited. I went in the next day, and the guy at the counter was friendly, the place was clean and professional....and, while I was waiting, another employee (who did not see me being helped by the first guy) asked if I had been helped. I was in and out, and the staff was professional and friendly...!

He came out, measured my existing screen slider. He then said he had one the right size in the shop and returned later that day to install. He was kind enough to also take the dog protection grill off the old door and put it on the new door without any additional charge. He also took away the old door.

I took the screens off my 20 year old black rod iron safety door and took the screens to their shop to be replaced. They used the existing frames and only replaced the screens. The job was completed in three days (over the weekend) and the new screens were nice and tight on the frame. My old iron security door looks new again. I thought the price was reasonable.

They came out when they said they would and made the repair to the sliding, glass door properly.

Several windows were sticking. In the past, I had asked for an estimate from window companies, who always tried to sell me a very expensive package. Mobile Screen and and Glass was completely different. They fixed the problem and even left me the remainder of the spray that works better than WD40, which had caused the graphite buildup. The results were perfect; they realigned and fixed all my windows in a very short time and all for the price of a routine service call. I couldn't be happier.

At 1AM this morning I awoke to the sound of breaking glass. My office window was mostly on the floor of the office, so I called the police. When they arrived at my house, it turned out that there were other homes with shattered windows as well. After taking my report and those of the other victims, the police left. Half an hour later, my bedroom window (faces the same was as the office window) was shattered. So I called the police again. To finish the first part of the story, I did not sleep again this morning. At 8AM I called Mobile Screen and Glass. Denise answered the phone promptly and efficiently and told me that her grandmother lived on my street and had her window broken the evening before. Long involved story short, Levi came about 9, and was the perfect window repair person! He also had to take orders for repairs from two other houses. He was quick, professional, knowledgeable, and super nice! WHEW!!! I now know about window glass replacement and i for sure know who to call!!! Would never hesitate to recommend them! Used the coupon that came on Angie's List and saved a nice chunk, and also heard good things about them from other local friends!

Mobile Screen & Glass called with a time and were on time. They were very professional and polite. Did a great job of cleaning up after they were finished. We will use them again.

I was given instructions over the phone for measuring correctly. Went to the store with the specs and deposit. They made up the screen. We put it up with some difficulty - should have left that part to the pros! The screen fits correctly, is well made. We saved on the cost of an extra 2 visits to the house. We appreciated that flexibility.

They were referred to me by a friend. I called them, they came to my house and were on time. He gave me a quote and the following week all of my screens were replaced. I will use them again.

I was very impressed with the crew Mobile Screen and Glass sent out to install the second pane of glass on the windows. The crew was very polite and professional. They explained what they were going to do and did what they said. If there were any questions, they didn't hesitate to ask. I would use this company again and would recommend them without hesitation. I only wish they had not used silicone caulk, but a caulk that would take the paint.

Quote fast and good on Milgard windows, but actually paid more than the initial quote - Mobile said they had price increase. First install was 3 casement windows - manufacture problem meant five week delay. When done again, they came out beautiful. Over the next few months phased in 3 other casement windows and one specialty obscure glass fixed and awning window for the bath - the product Milgard Windows is great, but Mobile install was just good, not wonderful. The initial installer was not available and the next guy was not as careful and lacked care when installing. I had to do a lot of drywall repair around the windows from his rough installation. The price always seemed to go up after install and I finally put my foot down and said I was only going to pay what I was quoted. I would use them again as I really like the casement windows, just watch the install.

Very well. Pleased with the work that was done. Unfortuately, they had to make two trips to our home, as the part they needed was not on their truck on the first visit. ( I thought they might have asked specific questions on the first phone call to insure that they had the part with them when they came. Our doors were vinyl and that seemed to make a difference.) When you set-up a day for service, they contact you between 8-9 that morning, to set-up a specific 30 minute window. So, on the second visit, the work was done very quickly and the door works great. Both times they came out, they were on time. We would definitely recommend them and will use them again if we have the need.

The experience with Mobile Screen and Glass was great from start to finish. From the estimate to the last trim piece installed after our stucco was completed was very positive. The estimate was higher than the one we received from Window World, but the product, service, and installation were worth the extra we paid. We also were able to use the Angie's List coupon.

On the night before Halloween, someone through a large rock through our window, destroying the window, the screen, and breaking a large mirror in a display cabinet across the room. The workman arrived early the next day and quickly replaced the screen and window, and gave me an estimate on the mirror. I had him come out about a week later and replace the mirror. I was very impressed with the speed and professionalism of both repairs, and surprised by the very reasonable prices. Having the rock come through our window was a very unpleasant experience, but Mobile Screen and Glass quickly remedied the situation. I was very impressed with their work, and will certainly use them again.

The five year old custom frameless glass shower door in my master bath spontaneously exploded early on a Saturday morning. Part of the door remained standing, but completely cracked as safety glass does. Many glass bits sprayed all over my bathroom when it broke. I did not feel that it was safe to ?take down? the rest of the door myself, so I began calling many clean-up/emergency services. Some were closed and others wanted hundreds of dollars to come out on a Saturday. One company just laughed at me and said that what I was describing was impossible. Finally, I called Mobile Screen & Glass, Inc. The person who answered the phone was very helpful, but could not get anyone to my home before they closed at noon. He suggested that I buy a can of hair spray and heavily spray what remained standing of the glass door to stabilize it until they could send someone to my home on Monday. I did, it worked, all the crackling noise stopped, and no more glass shards fell to the floor after that. On Monday Russ Blanton came and safely took down the rest of the shower door without further damaging my master bath. He cleaned up all the glass that had sprayed all over my bathroom when the door broke. He carefully explained that spontaneous glass breakage was rare but does happen, the likely reason why the door exploded (probably not installed correctly originally), how a new door could be installed not to explode, gave me a detailed estimate for a new door, and did not even charge me for his time and labor! I will not hesitate to call Mobile Screen & Glass again for any of my glass, mirror, or window needs.

The service technician, Jeff, was extremely punctual and courteous. The main reason I did not score this company an "A" is because Jeff didn't measure the window accureately on his first visit, which meant the replacement window he was to install on the second visit wouldn't have fit. This, of course, necessitated a third visit for the installation, requiring extra time off of work to meet the appointment. He was very apologetic, but I do wish he would have taken more care to measure correctly in the first place.
