Description of Work: Installed pavers in my backyard (very large area, previously all dirt) and a drip system and planter areas. Excellent quality and workmanship. Expensive, but you get what you pay for, and I got the BEST!

Description of Work: Landscaped the back yard. Put in a new sprinkler system, paver patio and sod for lawn.

Description of Work: Backyard was completely re-landscaped using an existing large in-ground rock water fountain and three large evergreen trees as center pieces for the design. The backyard was first cleared of all unnecessary rock, rubble, stepping stones and anything that did not meet with the new design and hauled away. The existing grassed area was sculped using brick pavers set in mortar to fit the sprinkler coverage area with a Santa Fe gravel border around the grass area. Before the gravel was spread the ground was graded, leveled, contoured for water runoff and then compacted. Typar fabric weed barrier was layed down on the compacted soil before the gravel was installed. A variety of schrubs and grasses that enhanced the shape, color and style of the grass and border area were planted at strategic locations in the Santa Fe gravel border that made the yard pop. The current rock fountain forms the far end of the yard and forms the southern border of the grass area. Since the fountain area is the highest point of the yard, a one foot high retaining wall made of beautiful capped stacking blocks was installed from the fountain to the back wall. This allowed the area around the fountain to be leveled. The old railroad tie border around the fountain was removed and disposed of and a new semi-circular capped stacking block retaining wall was built. This provided a new setting area behind the fountain where a bistro table and two chairs can be placed for a relaxing evening of gazing at the Albuquerque city lights from high in the far NE Heights. The fountain pool was reduced in size to form a more proportionate reservoir and the new pool and all of the existing spillways were resurfaced with portland cement and contoured to form a far more esthetic fountain. The current rock structure that formed the spillways was preserved. The area of the pool that was filled in was paved with the same brick pavers used around the grass in a manner that draws the eye to the fountain. Behind the fountain between the fountain and the new retaining wall large 2 - 3 inch granite rock was installed as well as around the base of each pine tree that provided a unique and beautiful accent to the Santa Fe gravel. As a final touch vinca plants were planted in the area behind the fountain to provide some beautiful color accents. Crushed granite was installed in the elevated area around and behind the fountain structure. In addition to the backyard the landscraper also completed the half done re-landscaping of the front courtyard, removing old railroad ties and contouring the courtyard with stacking blocks and Santa Fe gravel. a compacted area behind the stacking blocks was formed to hold a new self contained fountain.
