Initially, I did not know Kevin nor was referred to Kevin. It so happened that I was browsing the internet one day, looking for homes, and I randomly set up a meeting with Kevin to view a home. I soon was to discover that I struck gold. After meeting Kevin for the first time, I felt comfortable and confident that he was the right Agent to help me find my first home. He was patient when viewing homes with me and took care in finding what I wanted and needed. He is very knowledgeable and helped me pick apart homes to spot any defects or see their potential value. Kevin educated me in the process of purchasing a home, which was critical to me being a first time home buyer. He was proactive, always staying in contact and working to find me the right home. After several months and viewing many homes, we did find the right home. Overall, it was a great experience purchasing my first home and having Kevin as my Agent. I will definitely utilize Kevin for future purchases and refer Kevin to family and friends.

From the minute Kevin entered our home there was no doubt we would hire him as our Realtor. He is very friendly and professional. He gave us tips for a quick sale and had our home listed in record time. His website is beautiful and the pictures made you feel as if you were in the rooms. Our home sold in less than a week! The particular loan type the buyer used required extra patience and Kevin was there through it all to give us great advise. When the roofer we hired to do some minor repairs punctured the a/c water line, and my husband was out of town, Kevin hauled his ladder over and did the repair himself! Kevin was very helpful in lining up multiple homes during a house hunting trip (we saw over 30 homes in three days), and gave very personal attention to us during the trip. The sale went smoothly, and we are delighted with our new home. Kevin kept an eye on our house after the closing and before we moved in. He also checked in with us after we moved in, and even helped come out to troubleshoot problems with our swamp cooler. I have worked with many realtors in NM, Illinois, Tennessee, and Colorado, and Kevin has been by far the best. Because we wanted to both buy and sell a home, it was important to hire a realtor who had expertise in both. Kevin came to our home to meet with us and spent an hour interviewing us to learn what we wanted and was able to offer a great deal of knowledgable advice concerning types of homes, what it would cost to make particular kinds of changes, and really helped us to understand what our options were. When it came time to look at homes, he was very efficient in lining up all the ones we were considering so that we could see them all in one afternoon. He helped us evaluate each home, offering his perspective on the strengths and weaknesses of each, which really helped us to view them objectively. Once we settled on a home, he negotiated a good price for us, and the purchase went very smoothly. It was on the selling side, however, that Kevin really showed his expertise as a realtor. Selling a home can be very complicated and stressful, but Kevin made it as stress-free as possible. He helped us evaluate the condition of our home and made suggestions for minor repairs that could increase its salability. He even did some minor touchup of the stucco himself, so as to save us from having to hire someone to do the job. He was always present when we were asking for bids for repair work to be done, and the house painters he recommended to us did an exceptional job. He also did a wonderful job of photographing our home to make it look as appealing as possible. He was able to find us a buyer within a month, and once again negotiations went very smoothly under his skillful handling. Kevin saved us from having to pay for some expensive repairs requested by the buyer by going to the trouble of having an electrician come in and test the load and show that an upgrade to the electrical system was unnecessary. I probably would have relented on that point, but Kevin stuck to his guns and saved us thousands of dollars. It is clear that Kevin really enjoys what he does, and genuinely enjoys helping his clients without regard to the amount of money to be made at the end. Even though there was less money to be made from the sale of our home than our purchase, Kevin worked just as hard if not harder on the sales end of things. I genuinely appreciated the level of confidence and trust that we were able to build in our relationship with Kevin, and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him to others (as we already have).

I came to Albuquerque from out of town with a very limited time to look for a new home. It was my first home purchase as well. What should I do? I was given Kevin Ramos' contact information. He is an agent with ReMax. When Kevin showed me the first home we looked at, rather than try to sell it to me, he walked me through it and pointed out to me all the issues I'd need to be thinking about during the home-buying search I had begun. Kevin was exceptional. My particualr loan was difficult as our first lender dragged their heels and were mostly incompetent. Following Kevin's advice and recommendation we found a new lender who could move quickly to close the loan ASAP. Kevin navigated the difficult waters between banks and the seller to ensure that we closed on the house. We missed our closing date, due to the difficulties with the first bank, but undeterred Kevin worked tirelessly to make sure it didn't mean the deal would fall through. Kevin listed our New Mexico land in just three weeks and helped close with cash buyers very quickly so that we could roll the proceeds over for the down payment to our new home in Dallas. Very professional & timely. I find that time and business generally runs at such a slower pace in NM, so really appreciated his fast response to emails and documents. Used his high range dynamic photography to be able to really show the vast property to the buyers; definitely made the deal easier and more attractive.

Kevin represented us (as buyers) in the purchase of our new home. As first time buyers, and buyers new to the area - Kevin did a fabulous job of educating us on the purchasing process and geographical area. We found the house (that met our lengthy criteria) which is now our home -- "our jewel box". Although, we were probably a bit "worried" about how things would go... Kevin made the experience very favorable for us. From helping determine the 'offering' price; to negotiating the 'back and forth' terms of sale with seller/seller's agent; to coordinating and managing all inspections; to being on top of all the calendar items and closing paperwork -- the process was smooth and seamless. I cannot begin to say how wonderful and helpful Mr. Ramos was! He was warm, caring, prompt to call back and worked hard to find me the information and people I needed. Kevin is a wonderful real estate agent. He sold my house in 2 1/2 weeks and found me a perfect place to buy. He was very patient with all my questions, worries and fussing. I have recommended him to several people already. If you need a good Realtor please call Kevin.

I emailed Kevin in the morning asking if he could come look at my house to make sure the garage addition I was wanting to add would make good economic sense. He emailed me back within the hour and came out later the same day and was very helpful and knowledgeable. He was able to confirm what I was wanting to do was indeed a worthy investment. I offered to pay him for his time but he declined.

He turned out to do his usual excellent job. He understands the market real well. He is on the cutting edge of using computer technology to expedite what he does. He was able to handle all the paperwork very seamlessly even though I've moved to Michigan and sold my house in Albuquerque. That was pretty good. Buying my house and having it remortgaged right there in town was a lot more trouble than working with Kevin. From my point of my view, Kevin was great. I will definitely use him again in the future.

My wife and I are old (78 & 83) so we are not very patient! To begin with we must have driven Kevin a little crazy but he was patient and to cut a long story short the house was sold, everything was attended to and we are very happy!

Kevin was my 3rd go around on trying to find a realtor that I really felt good about. He quickly became a part of my family life. Kevin was absolutely amazing. Kevin did a fantastic job. His services and communication were professional, prompt, and responsive. As this was our second home he gave us great advice about renting our first property. Knowing we wanted an investment property he was available to answer all our questions during showings and after. Once Kevin found a home he wanted to show us, he would call us right away and schedule a showing as soon as we were available...sometimes multiple times in the same day. During the inspection a few questions about the condition of the home came up; Kevin was quick to write a counter offer specifically listing the financial and/or health concerns. We were able to get a lower price on the home and were able to address the problems soon after we purchased, using the money we saved. During closing Kevin caught a fee we were being charged with and the refund was written write there before we left. The home we purchased was the second home we looked at and have been very pleased. We felt like Kevin's services looked out for our financial interest and the interest of our family as a whole. We would definitely return to him in the future and recommend him to others!

Prior to our visiting Albuquerque from out of town to look for a home, my wife looked up real estate agents and emailed a number of them to make an appointment to show us houses. Kevin Ramos was the only one who answered her email, and the on-line reviews of Kevin were good, so we worked with him. Kevin is friendly, very communicative by email and phone, responsive to our questions and concerns, flexible with scheduling house visits, and he made time to be available within our schedule. He showed us essentially all of the houses that we wanted to see, and when we made a choice to make an offer, he provided drafts of the offer by email, and when we settled on the final version, he used an electronic system for us to sign the documents. This was an effective and efficient mechanism to review the offers and counteroffers. Since we were out of town during the purchase process, Kevin arranged for the home inspections, attended the inspections for us and worked with the sellers to have the necessary repairs done. Kevin also recommended Sarah Whitlock, mortgage loan consultant of New Mexico Bank and Trust, to work with us to get the mortgage. Sarah is very knowledgeable, responsive to our questions (by phone and email), and she facilitated our obtaining the mortgage in a timely manner. After closing, it took us several months to move to the new house, and Kevin took care of things at the house for us (watering outside plants, etc.). After we moved in, Kevin showed us the special things that the seller explained to him about house care. We offered Kevin a tip for handling these things for us, but he refused. To sum up, Kevin Ramos is a very effective agent who knows the Albuquerque market and worked hard in our behalf. He is easy to work with, he addressed our questions and concerns in a timely manner, and facilitated our purchase of the home through his contacts and knowledge of the process. We very highly recommend Kevin Ramos; he is a person you can trust and depend on.

Kevin was quick to respond, went above and beyond when putting together comps and analysis for our somewhat unusual property, and was very knowledgeable and helpful during our discussions. We ended up deciding that listing the house at this point doesn't make financial sense, but when it does, we'll certainly be calling up Kevin to list it.

First of all let me sum this up in 4 words.... THIS GUY IS AMAZING!!! Being a mortgage lender myself I know the ins and outs of the business. Kevin is by far one of the most knowledgable professionals I have ever seen in the business. At our first meeting he was prompt, courteous and came with the detailed plan that I asked him for to sell our home. I asked Kevin some very hard questions and had skepticism about hiring a realtor because of previous bad experiences. Kevin answered all my questions and was able to provide with with a timeline for the sale and a plan of action. Needless to say I was impressed. Within the first week of listing we had a ton of showings but unfortunately not one offer. He called me EVERY WEEK to provide status updates and recommendations for me to close this deal. I have never had a realtor to do this and again I was totally impressed. We had several showings for months but no sale and it was in my opinion the the home was priced too high. After adjusting the price we got the mother of all offers and the buyers were perfect. It is not the quantity but the quality of the offers that matters. We have bought and sold several houses over the years, and Kevin is without a doubt the best agent we've ever hired. He was very clear about what he thought we needed to do to maximize the impression our home would make, and he was realistic about the listing price. After following his suggestions re. staging the house even more than it already was, we signed his listing contract on a Thursday. He had the sign up and the MLS listing active on Friday. The house sold at full price on Saturday at exactly what was subsequently the appraisal figure. Then he followed through doing an excellent job of negotiating the contract, and explaining all the steps all the way through closing. It was a totally trouble free transaction. He was great in answering our questions, making sure we got the best offer possible, following through, answering our calls and emails. In short, I can recommend Kevin as the best agent we've ever had the pleasure to be associated with. I will say, we were open to Kevin's suggestions re staging the house. A clean, well maintained, uncluttered appearance is critical to getting the highest possible price for your home. If you're not willing to do the work to make it appealing, it would not be fair to blame the agent if it doesn't sell as fast as ours did.

I have bought and sold many properties over the years and Kevin Ramos was by far the best Realtor that I have ever used. The experience was great! From our very first phone contact I felt we were going to be treated with honesty and professionally. It was hard to be told the reason our house hadn't sold was the other agent didn't help us price it to sell. He explained all the facts and brought us into a better range for success. I was most impressed with his communication and quick response to my emails or calls as we already moved out of state and were trying to sell the house from afar. When a roof leak surfaced we were distraught, but Kevin brought in a great roofer to take care of the problem and repaint the ceiling and all was done in just a matter of a few days. Then Kevin was also quick to share with us that several prospective buyers had mentioned a dislike for a certain texture on the living room walls. He suggested we repaint them and smooth it out a bit. We did, again quickly and beautifully. Shortly thereafter we had an offer and sold our home. After listing this house with another Realtor for six months with only two showings, and no interest, we let the listing contract expire. That Realtor picked what we thought was an unreasonable price, with assurances that she could sell it. We then listed the house with Kevin Ramos. He suggested a few minor changes to the house, and then he took a new set of much better photos. He recommended a much more realistic listing price. Although there were only a few in-person showings, there was enough web traffic to result in a sale within about three months.
