Kevin Ramos - Re/Max Select

If you are looking to buy or sell in the Albuquerque / Rio Rancho area, then I would highly recommend Kevin as your realtor. Kevin was extremely knowledgeable about the areas, school districts, park locations, etc. We flew in from out of state for a 1-1/2 day house hunting trip and we toured close to 20 properties and stayed on schedule the whole time. Kevin was very organized with scheduling the tours, having packets already printed of each property, and really exceeded our expectations. I ended up choosing Kevin for a few different reasons: 1) He handles all showings himself, so you won't get passed off to an associate to show you homes, instead you have the actual agent 2) He has experience with appraisals and understands market comps very well 3) He is a licensed General Contractor and understands the condition of the home, needed repairs, upgrades, inspection process, etc 4) He is a real estate investor himself which I liked since I'm looking to purchase additional rental properties in the area and he understands investment property criteria well You won't be disappointed with Kevin, we'll definitely be utilizing him again!

I worked with Kevin 4 years ago and then moved away before a sale could be completed. I moved back to NM this year and immediately contacted Kevin to help me find a home. This market was not kind to buyers, but Kevin was patient and talked me down from making a bad decision a couple of times when it would’ve just been easier for him to let me do it. Mr. Ramos distinguished himself from a sometimes languid sales force by dint of his knowledge of the local market, human-relations skills and willingness diligently to work both with me and with the buyer's agent. I never felt pushed or pulled by Mr. Ramos. I felt listened to, partnered with and instructed in just the measures that I would most want. Mr. Ramos is a blessing on any real estate transaction.

Kevin Ramos is an outstanding real estate agent. We were selling my mom’s home in Albuquerque while we lived out of State. From the get go, Kevin stood out from the other real estate agents we interviewed. Kevin explained his marketing strategy clearly and thoroughly. Since we do not live in Albuquerque, we do not understand the Albuquerque housing market, Kevin’s knowledge and expertise was much needed and appreciated. Once we signed on with Kevin, he had our mom’s house prepped and listed in a couple of days, very quick turnaround. He communicated often and promptly by text, email, phone. Kevin was readily available even with the time difference and he was very accommodating in scheduling calls with various schedules involved, even doing calls at 10pm his time. In terms of pricing, negotiating with buyer, Kevin offered his advice and explained his rational, and in the end left it to us to decide. When we had to make decisions during the negotiating process, we were confident in our decisions due to Kevin’s informed and insightful advice. To sum it up, Kevin marketed our mom’s home beautifully, took a lot of initiative to get the house ready to be listed, while minimizing cost. He communicated effectively and responded quickly as needed. Kevin is strategic and sharp. We knew he cared about the sell of our mom’s home for us(one less thing to do for aging parent) and for our mom(maximize profit) and Kevin worked hard and made it happen! We are very grateful we found Kevin on Angie’s List and highly recommend Kevin as a real estate agent.

Kevin Ramos is an excellent real estate agent whose knowledge and expertise helped me sell my house in less than three weeks. Kevin was able to guide me through the process, and shared valuable insight when pricing and preparing the house for sale. His reputation in the community enabled me to get necessary repairs and inspections done on the house for an excellent price. In addition, some of the work that needed to be done was expensive, so Kevin arranged for payment to be made to the contractor at closing. TALK ABOUT A LIFESAVER! Kevin also has a keen eye for detail, and will go above and beyond when preparing your house for sale. For instance, when he came to take pictures of my home he noticed that the paper towel holder was empty and that two light bulbs were missing in the bathroom. He replaced both on his own accord before the pictures were taken. I know it sounds small, but it is that kind of attention to detail that helps sell houses. Speaking of pictures, Kevin’s were the best I’ve seen, and I look at houses on Zillow, Trulia, etc. a lot! Even his signage stands out as being classy. In short, I would definitely recommend Kevin Ramos to anyone looking to buy or sell am house in the Albuquerque area. He is knowledgeable, helpful, honest, detail-oriented, and hard working. We first used Kevin's expertise when selling a home in 2013, when we were moving out of state. He gave us good advice to maximize the appeal of the house, and it sold to the first couple that looked at it, the first day on the market, for full price. Six years later, we decided to move back to ABQ and contacted Kevin about finding a home for us. We have owned homes in several states, so we have had a fair amount of exposure to real estate agents over the years, and we have never had an agent as great as Kevin. Not only does he know the real estate market and how to process the paperwork efficiently and quickly, but he also has a lot of background in the construction or rehabbing of homes so he was able to spot potential problems and what it would take to fix them. We found a possible house that needed some changes (don't they all?) His advice was honest, open and best of all he pointed out what was do-able and what was not. He went out of his way to assure us that what we wanted to change could be accomplished and explained how to make it happen. He has spent so much time making sure we were going to happy with this house, giving us advice on how to proceed, and it all came together without any glitches. He is amazing and dedicated to making his clients happy. We recommend him 1000%. Absolutely the best real estate agent we've ever had.

Kevin was very helpful in finding my first house and guiding me through the purchasing process. I absolutely recommend his services. First of all because he is knowledgeable about the market and houses, and very professional in the way he conducts business. He was also genuinely trying to find a house which would be a good fit for me (and I am very happy with what he found). I can certainly say that he makes an efford to understands what his clients are looking for. I very much appreciated that he was upfront with any concerns he had about houses that we had looked at. He is also knowledgeable about house repairs and maintenance, which was very useful in my case. Also the process turned out to be somewhat lengthy for me because of discussions with the sellers, and I appreciated that Kevin was responsive and helpful throughout the entire process, he was available every time when I had questions and concerns. Kevin Ramos was our realtor for selling our house. Kevin first took a look at our house and made suggestions of what needed to be done to sell our house. After the work was done, Kevin listed the house and within five days we received two full price offers. He is so knowledgeable on what needs to be done to attract buyers. He is also knowledgeable on requirements for selling the house and made sure the requirements were taken care of. Everything went so smoothly that we were able to close two days prior to the original closing date. We had our house listed with local realtors in the past and I was a little hesitant listing with him since he is from the Albuquerque area and the house is a good 60 miles from his location. That was not the case at all. Each time, there was a need to go out to the house, he was right there. Kevin did a fantastic job. We switched from a different agent after numerous arguments over the price of our home (some agents can only sell your house if you continually drop the price below market value). The house sold for $10,000 more than the previous agent insisted we would get. Kevin is very thorough and will tailor his approach to your needs. I moved out of state before the house sold, and Kevin helped coordinate plumbing repairs and clean up to complete the buyers list. I would recommend him for either listing or buying a house and would definitely hire him again if I was to return to the Albuquerque area.

My wife and I needed to sell our house and move to a new city ASAP. There were some concerns with the housing development, which posed a challenge for us. We needed to get out! Keven was considerate of our needs from the beginning and provided excellent communication. Kevin is a great listener and very approachable, motivated, attuned to our needs, and a great communicator. Summary: we were so pleased with his making the new kitchen (and updates in the bathrooms) that we added more to his commission voluntarily. If it had not been for his superb knowledge of the Albuquerque market, his "deep bench" of reliable contractor contacts, and his use of the latest realtor techniques (High Dynamic Range photography for the listing, blue-tooth use for getting potential buyers), and simply his length and depth of experience, we would not have been able to sell our home in a very clearly buyers' market! We would recommend him unconditionally. He goes out of his way to listen to you, apply what he heard, and then act on it.....RELIABLY! Example: Our garage door got accidentally crunched. He knew something needed to be done (we didn't even know about the door), and he got it fixed. He listened tp us that we did not want to be involved in every little detail. He took care of all those in the same way we would have, had we been there.

Overall, Kevin was great. He was always able to make time for us and guide us through the process step by step of buying a house. Whether it was in the morning, the afternoon, or late in the evening, he always had time to answer our questions. We wouldn't have been able to get the house we got without him, and we are so glad that he gave us the advice he did and was so attentive to our needs. We highly recommend his services to others looking for a house!

1975 was the last time we sold a home. Obviously things have changed significantly and we needed expert assistance. We found it in spades when we chose Kevin Ramos to handle the sale. Kevin explained the process from beginning to end and made it happen exactly as advertised. So smoothly, seamless, quickly. It was always a pleasure to communicate with Kevin and his staff. I initially had contacted Kevin about 6 months prior to putting our house up for sale. I wanted him to give me a rough idea of what the market was doing and where he thought our house might come in at. He came to the house, with comps for the neighborhood and gave me what I needed. When time came to sell, he was again responsive, came over once more to meet my wife, explain the process. He brought in a photographer to shoot the pictures and they were excellent. We put the house on the market the 4th of the month, had the open house on the 8th and it sold by the 10th. OMG! And for $10,000.00 over the asking price. He is an excellent realtor, but you have to be an excellent seller. Listen to him, follow his suggestions. They were great. Don't get caught up in what you think your house should look like. Kevin always was quick to answer texts and e-mails, at night, on the weekend, anytime. The paperwork was done on line so you could take your time to read the documents in your PJ's in the middle of the night instead of having to go to his office. Kevin always was willing to spend the time needed with his clients to ensure that they understood. I cannot say enough good things about our experience with Kevin

It took longer than we expected but with real estate that can happen.

Kevin and I spoke on the phone and exchanged many texts and emails in the 2 weeks ahead to try to find a house. We had a list of 20+ houses. I expected to maybe see half of that and we knocked out all 20 in 1 day!! Kevin was early and waiting for me at my hotel and flawlessly navigated me all day to see all of these houses with zero wasted time. I found a great house and we put in the offer that night and promptly closed...over Christmas and New Years which is very tough. Best realtor I've ever known and would recommend and have recommended Kevin to everyone.
