Horizon Auto Glass & Tint

Only area I couldn't give provider an A was in responsiveness. I filled out a form on their web site on a Monday for a quote request. After hearing nothing I called on Thursday. No explanation was offered as to why no response to the web site request but person who answered the phone quickly gave me a quote. When I went in to drop the car off for the windshield replacement I asked again about the lack of response from the web site request and was told that they were having issues with the company they outsource the web site to. Also I asked about the movie ticket promotion with a windshield replacement was told the tickets were on backorder but they gave me a $10 discount on the service work instead.

Called Katie to schedule. Tech arrived well within promised time.neat installation.

I called and spoke with Katie on Saturday. Very professional, she scheduled my appointment for Monday. The serviceman arrived on time and and did a great job. He got the job done just as it started to pour down raining. Now that's good timing. Thanks so much!!!

An excellent experience. My windshield had become micro-pitted over the years - or sand-blasted, as they said. Which meant that when I was heading into low sun, or on two-lane roads with oncoming traffic at night, my vision was seriously [and dangerously] compromised. So I wondered would it be worth replacing it? Absolutely it was! I stopped by and had them look at it. Set up an appointment for the next day. All very efficient and friendly - my 4Runner was ready sooner than they had promised, and the new windshield is GREAT! Cheaper than I expected too.

John had measured the windows on the day of our initial meeting and when they arrived, the tinting film had been pre-cut for each window. He and his assistant went to work immediately, explaining their process as they moved along. They were courteous, efficient and highly professional. They carefully explained the degree of protection provided and future care. They were diligent in their clean-up. We will certainly recommend them and also use them in the future if the need arises.

Based on Angies List, I stopped by Horizon Auto Glass on Saturday, and explained that I had a badly cracked windshield to Katie at the front desk. Katie took down all the information on the car, quoted a price, and then offered to do the work on the following Monday. I brought the car in Monday morning around 9 a.m., and received a call around 12:30 that the car was done. I picked up the car along with instructions on how to remove the masking tape on the upper edge, and cautions on how to treat the installation for the first 48 hours. Horizon also offers free rock chip repairs for the first 90 days after a new windshield purchase. Customer service was superb: I was treated in a friendly and helpful manner by staff who knew their business and how to treat people.

I contacted them to get my car tinted after I had gone to another shop and could not get my car booked that day, along with dealing with a rude employee at another place. Over all it was okay, took them from 8AM into 430 PM too get the job done. A lot longer then I though from having meany cars tinted at different shops. I would say the quality of work was great. I was not pleased that they said the warranty was voided because I went with a darker tint then 20%. the staff was friendly and helpful. I am happy with the final product. I would say when I get my other car tinted, I will go somewhere else, the prices here are way to high for just removing tint and re-tinting along with no warranty over the work or tint. I think I can deal with a rude employee for a lot cheaper price.

I had a crack that was starting to grow across my windshield, while they couldn't promise a guarantee that their fix would stop it (since it was over 5" by the time I made it to their shop) it was only about $20 for this temporary fix, which lasted until March at which point I had a new windshield replaced. When I called around for estimates for windshield replacements, Horizon was a little higher than some of the competitors, which resulted in my going elsewhere, but I have no doubt that if I had gone with Horizon, the quality would have been worth the extra cost. Their employees are always so friendly and enjoyable to interact with, which goes a long way! I will definitely keep them in mind in the future!

They did a fantastic job and the car still looks great after one year. I was very pleased with this company and will use them again for future jobs.

After washing my car, I noticed the windshield had cracked, so I called Horizon based on Angie's List reviews. They were able to schedule me to bring my car in right away. They predicted it would take 2-3 hours, and in fact it took just two. The price on the windshield was higher than I expected, based on the reviews I had read, and so I questioned it. I was told that because it was a newer car, and that was the first year for that windshield, they were more expensive. Actually, that model of Murano has been in production since 2009, so it isn't all that new. When I enquired about the 10% senior discount, I was told I was getting the "Larry Miller" special one-day-only discount which was better. In fact, that discount was a flat-rate $30, which was less than the 10% discount would have been. While they did a fine job of installing the windshield, it is not the same quality as the OEM windshield it replaced. It has a slightly different contour and does not meet the roof line smoothly. It also has less tint and the mirror is in a different location. I won't know for a while whether it is a water-tight seal, since it isn't likely to rain soon, and they advised me not to wash it for a week or two. Update 5/28/14: After reading my review, Rod, the owner, contacted me to see how he could remedy the situation. I drove the car back to Horizon and showed him the distortion as compared to photos I had taken of the car prior to the windshield getting cracked. He agreed that it appeared the windshield had not been properly molded, and he scheduled me to come back at my convenience and get a replacement windshield. Yesterday I did so, and the new windshield is much better than the first one. Rod also resolved most of my other issues, which were largely misunderstandings. My only complaint about the second time was that it took nearly four hours, which was more than the 2 to 2.5 hours they promised me.

Excellent.. took truck first thing in the morning, it was done within 2 hours. They had to run to another vendor to get the window, since the window is one of those flip types, it's not very common to keep in stock with a factory tint. I am sure it would have been done in under a hour if they had it in stock.

My friend Kimberlee Called Horizon Glass first for information. They mentioned that if I brought in my vehicle it would save me $30.00 from the total cost of $49.95 instead of them coming to me. This was great since I stopped in the next day right after work. As soon as I arrived they examined my windshield and gave me an estimate waiting time of about 45 minutes to repair. they offered me a bottled water as I sat in the waiting area. As I was waiting, I observed 3 other customers arrive and each one was treated the same way. The employees were all very friendly, helpful and professional. After about 40 minutes my vehicle was ready. Wow! to my surprise they had sealed the STAR crack and it looked so much better!! I am so happy with the results and the cost of $19.95 + tax. = $21.35 I would definitely recommend this company to anyone. Thank you Angie's list for the helpful review.

A windshield "star" that had been quiescently sitting there turned into several inches of through-and-through crack immediately in front of the driver's face... the day before I was supposed to leave on a road trip. Informed of the urgency of the repair, Horizon wedged me into their schedule on very short notice and did a nice job.

Windshield had become pitted due to sand storms causing scattered light at night making it hard to see. The headlight covers had become clouded reducing the light for night driving. Horizon replaced the windshield and treated the headlight covers. My 2002 Honda Accord looked like new. Vision for driving was greatly improved. I am very pleased with their work and with the office staff.

They first examined the problem to determine if it was repairable. Explained that it would take about 45 minutes to repair the crack. Also said that there would probably be a visible mark in the windshield after the repair. They had a discount of $30.00 since it was my first visit. They were polite, knowledgeable and efficient. I read a magazine in the waiting room while they completed the job. Wait time was more like 30 minutes for the job so I was very satisfied. I would use them again.

I called and received a quote over the phone of $155 plus tax. This was with a $20 reduction for taking my car to the shop. I made an appointment for my next day off, though I could have got an appointment for the next day if that had been what I needed. The windshield was replaced in the quoted time frame, it was installed correctly and cleaned up nicely. A quality, professional job at a good price.

They did explain that they would not be able to erase the small star crack, but i was a little surprised that it didn't look any smaller after the repair. i am satisfied, though, because what I care about is the structural integrity of the windshield and preventing the crack from getting larger, which they did accomplish. they were very nice and quick, and the price was right (better than replacing the windshield!).

I dropped-in on the Friday afternoon before Labor Day weekend for repair of two chips in my front windshield. Alexis got my car into the shop immediately and asked me to allow approximately 45 minutes for the repair -- it actually only took about 20-30 minutes. Based upon this, my first experience with the company, I'd highly recommend Horizon for any future auto glass repair work! Thank you for quick and professional service!

installed window tint on bmw windows, good quality, no complaints. I waited a while to submit a review to verify no wrinkles, etc. none have happened. lifetime warantee on product.

They had to special order the glass from Arizona, got it here quickly, installed by professionals, great job, great service. Expensive but complete glass coverage on insurance paid for it and they worked with insurance company directly from the beginning.

I have used them before and they are always extremely efficient and professional. They are easy to get ahold of and call with updates or as soon as the car is ready.

Called ahead to see if I needed appointment to have rock chip repaired on my windshield. Told me to just drop by but allow 45 minutes to do the repair. Arrived same day at 3:40 pm and both Jeff and Alexis were on the phone assisting other customers. After a short wait, Jeff looked at my windshield, told me the chip was repairable and the cost would be $19.95. I paid him the $21.35 (incl taxes) up-front and waited for about 45 minutes. Alexis called me to the counter, told me the windshield was repaired and attempted to extract another payment from me. I told her I had paid in cash up-front with Jeff and wasn't going to pay twice for the same job. She said she had no record of a cash payment. Enter Jeff who came to my defense and resolved things with Alexis. Jeff marked my receipt as paid, he apologized to Alexis for the oversight and I was left, as the customer, feeling rather uncomfortable. Alexis never directly apologized to me for trying to extract a second payment, but Jeff did. I think customer service on this particular occasion could have been handled a lot better!

I purchased a home in October 2012 which has a "great room" that faces the southwest mesa. The room has 4 windows that measure 10 ft high by 3 ft wide; with 18 ft ceiling. Needless to say, the sun (and heat) pour into to this room. I soon realized that to pay my mortgage and electric bill, I was going to have to try something else besides the blinds already in place. I called Horizon Auto Glass and Tint, made an appointment for an estimate, and the Owner, Rod Williams came out to provide the estimate. Due to some "unexpected" holiday expenses, I put the job off until April. Since the estimate was more than 90 days old, I was pleased to find out that Mr. Williams would honor his original estimate. The install date was selected and the installers, John Howser and Adam Williams, arrived bright and early April 16, 2013. The job took several hours and they did an impecable job! I could not have been more pleased with their attention to detail, their professionalisim, their concern for my furniture, how they cleaned up and their wonderful attitude. Truely a remarkable team! Im so happy with the experience I've had with these folks, that I'm having them do more windows on the southeast side of the house. I highly recommend this company and their products.
