Goodrich Roofing

They were good. They cleaned up and they were okay. Their price was good.

The roofers arrived early with no advanced notification; had to move the car out of the garage onto the street. Tarps were laid out aroung the house before removal of the old shingles. The removal was very quick, and the new product was loaded on the roof without incident. The roofing completed quite fast, all penetrations were well sealed, turbines were installed rather than the "turtle shell" vents at an additional cost.

We had had problems with intermittent leaking several areas after previous roof repair. Called re one specific problem. Called several roofing companies, but decided to go with Goodrich as owner really inspected entire roof & realized that valleys had been layered/done incorrectly in previous roof job. He was able to come out in less than a week & he & another fellow completed the job in about 3 days. Both men were quiet & effecient & left no mess. So far, no leaks! We were very pleased with their work

They came recommended from my husband. They were very responsive to my calls. They came out when they said they would come out and they did exactly what they said they were going to do. The staff didn’t have any issue. They came out and did the work, they cleaned up and they did a good job. They were fast and efficient.

They did a pretty good job as far as I know. I am not a roofer so I don't know how good the roof is. They charged me a little less than $6000.00. Their responsiveness and punctuality were excellent. They came when they said they were going to. They could have had a little bit better supervision of the job. They had to come back the next day and then come back the next day to do some things that weren't right the first time.

The estimate was free and they said they didn't want to do it. They were fine. I probably would not consider them in the future for other estimates.

It was ridiculously easy. They have a website. I booked them online and confirmed by email. I set it all up. I didn’t even go down there. They showed up when they said they would do the work. I paid for it over the phone with a girl in the office with a credit card. It was the easiest thing that I ever had to arrange. I would absolutely recommend them. I would use them in the future.

We haven't had any issues. The communication was a bit lacking. We found them through a friend of a friend. The guy that came out initially was exceptional. He went round to ascertain the issues and the pricing was extremely good. Everything went well. The only drawback was that we didn't know they were coming and it was fairly quick. We had to pay half up front which we were nervous about. It worked out well. We paid that on a Thursday and they came on Monday morning to do the work. They did respond but I didn’t know they were coming.

I spent 30 minutes on the roof with their estimator telling me how they would replace our roof . He promised to promptly send a proposal by e-mail. I never received a proposal or a response of any kind . ***UPDATE*** It went OK.

There were a few consults with Terry prior to deciding on a roofing company. He was very professional and knowledgeable. We set a date for the work to be done, and it was done quickly. It was a toss up to say yes or no to the question of whether I'd use this company again. I would definitely work with Terry again, and maybe even call them again for roof work, but not for anything involving the cooler. The main issue was with not with the roof, but with the swamp cooler disconnect and reconnect. The existing wooden stand that held the cooler was very old, and it?s wasn?t surprising that there would be a problem removing it and putting it back. But there was no mention made by anyone at Goodrich that there indeed had been a problem. It was only when I went up on the roof that I noticed two obvious problems. They had not resealed the cooler's duct work with sealant. There were big gaps where the air could escape. One of the legs of the stand was merely leaning up against the rest of the stand, with not a single fastener attaching it to anything. So the cooler was just supported on three legs. I called Terry, and he asked the employee, who did confirm the leg was too rotted out to reinstall. I gave Terry the ok to have them replace the old wood stand with a new metal stand for around $100. When I got home I could see the new stand without getting on the roof, and it looked fine from a distance, but after seeing water leaking from the roof, I finally went up and inspected the new stand. It was extremely un-level to the extent that the water level couldn't reach the proper depth to activate the float and turn the water off, causing a constant overflow of water onto the new roof. I again called Terry, who said he?d get the guy out there to fix it the next day. I guess I should have asked what was meant by ?fix?, because all they did was stick a piece of 2x4 under the low side. It did ?fix? the problem, but looks very shabby, to say the least. I just gave up and left it like that.

They did a good job. One thing wasn’t done quite right but there was one guy who came out to inspect what they had done and the quality. Then they took care of that right away.

Prompt, professional, clean, efficient, and customer oriented.

The didn't reconnect AC. The job took longer to complete and rather than quit before the crew became too tired, they worked too long, which may have accounted for the lack of attention to detail and neatness.

They were excellent. Their prices were very good. I would absolutely use them again.

I contacted them. They came out very promptly. They gave me an estimate and followed up. I had to hold up on doing the project. I don't know if I'll end up using them or not. They were very thorough. They were the most expensive of the estimates I got, but that doesn't mean it's a bad thing. I was impressed with how promptly they came out, how quickly they gave the estimate, and how well broken-down it was. They have a computerized form that they fill out, which was better than some of the other ones I got. The others just had a handwritten thing.

I lost about six asphalt shingles due high winds. Since I hired Goodrich for a complete replacement six years ago, I called them for the repair. The installation warranty had expired but they gave me a discount on the repair. I was impressed with their response. I called on Thursday to give them the go ahead and they arrived the very next day. However, I was disappointed with the quality of the Certainteed shingles. I called the company to see what they would do but they were very uncooperative. There is a piece of plastic covering a strip of sealant at the top of the shingle. The plastic is supposed to degrade allowing the sealant to do its job. However, on every one of the shingles that blew off, the plastic was not degraded and there was no seal. Bottom line, I was very pleased with Goodrich, not so much with Certainteed. I will never use their product again.

We had some issues with their responsivess at first, but they were here very quickly once we voiced our concerns and mentioned our Angie's List membership. After that, the project went smoothly, and the work was done excellently.

I was very impressed with Goodrich Roofing from start to finish. They were not the cheapest but won out because they were the most professional in the bidding process and already had a good reputation. The workers were superb. They had a large crew so the entire job was done in less than three days. They worked hard, efficiently, and it seemed like they were actually enjoying each other while they worked. I take that as a sign of good management. The site manager, Hugo, had been with the company for decades which is another huge plus for me in that it is a sign that employees are treated well. They were also neat as a pin doing a job that could have left a huge mess. I would definitely hire them again.

They did a good job. I liked everything they did here. The workers were great. It is a good company and I would recommend it to anybody.

They did a wonderful job. They came out here. They were very professional. The roof came out beautiful. They even painted the casts to match the color of the roof. They did a wonderful job of clean-up. They were right on time, they were very professional, and they did a wonderful job.

They did an excellent job and left the area very clean after they had finished.

Excellent, workers worked in the 100 degree temperatures for 10 hours and did a beautiful job.

Estimate was $1,200--which is a very high estimate with no warranty. They were timely and they did give me a written estimate.

The person who came to give the estimate was professional, answered all my questions and I have no complaints about them.
