Description of Work: The sales man came out to take a look at a driveway that was deteriorating and needed to be redone. They would remove the existing one and repour a new one. I was asking for a quote. To begin, the salesman arrived in the area but got the address wrong and was parked down the street for 20 minutes before calling . No biggie, I corrected the address with him and he arrived. He apologized for the mishap. He measured, was polite, and said he would have an estimate for me very soon, I gave him my email address and he already had my phone number. Afer a week, and not having heard from him, I decided to call. He said he left me a voice message, which I never recieved. He appologized and said he must have gotten my number wrong, but wait, he already had my number, he called me when he got lost, okay..... I gave him my email address, again, and I asked that he email me a quote. He called me the following day and asked if I got the email, I told him no. I gave him my email address again, and he said he would try it again. I did finally get an email, but it was empty, no estimate. I emailed him back and told him there was no attachment. The next email did finally contain a quote. I told him, I would be getting two more quotes and would then make my decision. He said ok. ||A week to two weeks later, I was surprised to receive an email from the sales man informing me of an ammended quote. He had dropped the price by $2000. In the end I decided not to go with this company, even though a friend had recommended them. They had done roof work for my friend and she was happy with the work. This was my only contact with this company.

Description of Work: They completely re-roofed the area over our bedroom and went around the entire roof to target vulnerable spots.

Description of Work: I started in march researching a roofer. I got several estimates. I got the estimate and after seeing different prices decided for repair instead of re roof. through emails and calles I asked repeatedly for an estimate for a repair. several times I was asked to make an appointment. the final email I sent was in exasperation that no one had called or written back. The email stated I had been told the roof could not be repaired. It was rather blunt and I wrote back and stated that I had not been told that. why would I continue to ask and why had goodrich told me several times I would get a call to schedule an appointment. I said at that time that we could not do business. After more research I decided to give them another try. I talked to Johnny mostly and he was polite. I told him I wanted to go ahead with the reroof. He said fine and told me what I had to do. I faxed the original quote knowing that the estimate was old but I figured they knew too. Most places keep records. I gave my address and zip each time I talked. My assumption being that was a way to look up the estimate. In any case when I called about the fax they couldnt find it. I asked them to look for it and told them I had already sent $3500. this afternoon they called back and said we have had several price increases and they could not do the job. I said why didnt they tell me that yesterday? he said what do you mean. I said I called yesterday and set this up. My assumption being they had the estimate. there was a pause and the man said "well what if I assumed you would have seen at the top of the paper the estimate is only good for 10 days". so they did have the paperwork after all. My expectation would be that customer service would be practiced there but I guess when there is so much business around town these days there is no need for that. I definitly would not use or recommend these cowboys. I will however spread the bad response to anyone who is willing to listen.

Description of Work: They repaired a leak in our roof on our house.

Description of Work: They were very fast and efficient in replacing my multilevel roof. They have an excellent reputation with my insurance company and were able to get things covered with little out of pocket cost to me. They kept me informed throughout the process, completed the job as scheduled, and everything was done as expected. I would definately have them do work for me again.

Description of Work: I called this company because somebody I know in the roofing business referred them. ( They referred me because they don't do flat roof houses) I did check out their reviews on Angie's list, and they looked ok so I called to get an estimate. I was given a date and a window of time that they would be there, and was told they would call before they came. I waited at home during this 2 hour window, and didn't get a call, but finally about 10 minutes before the time was up, they showed up. A call would have been appreciated so I could have put my dogs in their kennels ahead of time. The estimator and I went up on the roof and discussed a few details, and I was told I would be emailed that evening with a quote. I didn't get an email that evening, which was a Friday. I didn't get one all weekend, and finally on Tuesday, I received the estimate by email. I had some questions on the quote, so I emailed back, asked my questions and asked to be called or emailed back for further explanations. I didn't hear from anybody at all. I don't have much time to keep following up on this, but when I noticed that the quote was about to expire, I tried again. This time I called the office and spoke to a receptionist who told me that she would have somebody call me back. Nobody ever did. I have to travel quite a bit for work and my window of opportunity to deal with this type of thing is very limited, so I won't be contacting this company again. Hopefully I'll have better results with another recommended company.
