Paul and his crew replaced my old landscape about two years ago and we still have neighbors letting us know how beautiful our yard is. I continue to use Enchantment Landscapes to do semi-annual treatment and clean up because they are expert in their knowledge of all aspects of their business, professional in their execution, and have long-standing excellent employees, a real team. A large purple plum tree was saved thanks to Paul noticing an infestation of a variety of aphids that look like small clamshells and referring me to a great company to treat the tree, the tree was so large it required specialized equipment to properly treat. The company (Baca Trees) did an quick and excellent job, the aphids are gone. A solenoid went out on the master valve for the sprinkler system and I could not water. Not being familiar enough to troubleshoot and repair myself I called Enchantment. Almost immediately Paul on his way to another job and identified a temporary fix so the part could be replaced a little later but the watering could be done. I cannot recommend this company strongly enough, long-term professional employees with expertise in landscaping, extremely polite and trustworthy, and the owner, Paul Geld, is the go-to guy for major and minor landscaping projects.

Enchantment Landscapes was the primary creator of the beautiful new courtyard in front of my house. The owner, Paul, was so wonderful to work with and his staff "saved" me on many an occasion with their polite, caring and professional attitude. The on-site work staff was very responsive, capable and respectful. (I felt no need to monitor the work, having the relief of complete trust in them.) They even worked in falling snow! The weather occured in the middle of their planned work and so they returned in the difficult weather! The quality is exceptional. While the overall courtyard project is not quite complete (it will be finished most likely in the Spring with a wrought-iron entry), I can finally feel happy about the public face of my home. I have been working on this goal since 2004, and I am almost there! Thank you to all at Enchantment Landscapes!

Our association with Paul Gelb and his staff at Enchantment Landscapes began in the summer of 2009 when we accepted bids for the landscaping of our backyard. Paul?s bid was the most detailed and comprehensive and included detailed drawings as well as meticulous time and material estimates. The landscaping itself included the relocation of numerous plants and bushes as well as the planting of a number of new bushes and fairly large trees (e.g. Austrian pine, oak, pistachio, crabapple, and maple). All of the relocated plants and the new foliage survived. The backyard was tastefully landscaped with a mixture of xeriscaping using crusher fines, gravel, large decorative boulders, and flagstones as well as a small area (aka ?the putting green) containing new grass. A new patio, as wells as a concrete area and privacy fence around our existing hot-tub was installed. The existing irrigation system was replaced and low flow emitters added to irrigate the relocated and new greenery. Subterranean drains were placed under the downcomers from the roof drains to channel the rainwater to a large ponding area where a number of birch trees and other water loving foliage were planted In the summer of 2011 Paul and his installation crew returned and re-landscaped our front yard. A large semicircular concrete driveway was poured and decorated with terra-cotta brick bands. Several new trees were planted and the existing irrigation system was replaced with low flow emitters for the existing and new foliage. Colored gravel was added to cover areas previously barren and a nice assortment of perennial and annual flowers was planted in three new flower beds in front of the circular driveway. Additional smaller projects have included the building of a concrete ramp with brick sidewalls and a planter leading to a separate structure in the backyard which serves as a music studio and reading room (aka ?the man cave.?) The brick used for the ramp was chosen so that it matches the existing privacy wall in the backyard. Enchantment has also done painting of fences, walls, and other concrete ramps as well as ?fog-coating? several sections of stucco wall. Two summers ago they removed all the contents of our two car garage, power washed the garage floor and the circular driveway in the front yard. The most recent project involved the restoration of some parts of the xeriscape in the backyard that were eroded by the recent heavy rains. The top surface of one of the subterranean drains under a roof downcomer was enhanced with several large boulders that serve to breakup the strong flow of water coming down from the roof after heavy rainfall. The new configuration has substantially improved drain performance and there has been no erosion since. Since the initial re-landscape of our back yard, we have also contracted with Paul?s maintenance staff for weekly care of all of our landscaping in back as well as the in the front front yard. His maintenance crew was always prompt, courteous, and very professional. The maintenance service included lawn mowing, lawn, tree and shrub fertilization as well as foliage trimming, debris pickup and subsequent removal. None of Enchantment?s installation, renovation, or maintenance services are for those who want to improve and invest in their property and its appearance ?on the cheap.? But the old adage of ?you get what you pay for? certainly applies. We sincerely believe that the initial capital and recurring maintenance expenses paid are well worth it. Without reservation or any inhibition, we would recommend Enchantment Landscapes for both re-landscaping as well regular yard maintenance.

They are a little pricey, but well worth it. I have been very happy with their work.

A blueprint of the proposed design was created and it showed everything that was to be done including the location and name of each new plant. Once we agreed to the plan the job was scheduled and started with no delay. All of the work started at 0700 in the morning and the same crew stayed with the job for the duration. All of the workers were courteous, professional and very efficient. At the end of the day the job site was clean and all tools and materials were stored in a location that was out of our way. The job was completed on time and the finished project looks fantastic. This project also met the requirements for a water credit from the city of Albuquerque and Enchantment Landscapes took care of all of the paper work with the city for us. We were very pleased with every aspect of dealing with this company. This is a local company and the owner is involved and knows his business. He will visit the job site during the job and makes it clear that his primary concern is your satisfaction with the work being done. We highly recommend this company.

They have done a lot of work for me and they have been fantastic. The person who runs the business is down the street from where I live and he is trustworthy. He is fair and creative.

A bit of a late start, but proceeded smoothly. Finished product is exactly what we expected. Pretty much on budget--of course, we found a few things to add as we proceeded!
