Better work than expected compared to duct cleaners I had last year. Daniels was more Thorough. They did not use chemicals that made us cough like the other duct cleaning service we previously used. Their men took care of every detail and cleaned the vents too! Every detail I asked for was attended to quickly and they performed extra services.

We were very pleased with the job done.

Very well. For the initial appointment, I was late. The technician stayed oil our driveway 30 minutes beyond the time that we were scheduled to meet. That was probably more than I would have done

So, our roof top heating and cooling unit works perfectly fine EXCEPT when the wind blows really hard. Contacted Daniels via Angie's List and got a respond less than 10 minutes later, scheduled immediately. Ken, was punctual, professional, friendly, and explained everything that he did. After I told him that it was working fine except when windy, he told exactly what he thought the problem was. He took care of it quickly. Granted, we can't see if the fix works until it's windy again, but I feel like I could trust his word. When I told him that another company tried to tell us that it would cost over $2500 to fix and he charged us less than $200, he said that he just could not fathom how there could be that much to repair unless they replaced practically everything in there. Will definitely contact them again for future needs.

Went well. The heater servicing including some extra testing and that did not go so well but i could only afford to have the basic service so they were sure to get it taken care of to be safe.

The project wend very well. Quality of work performed by both technicians was excellent. They were neat, clean, and well organized as they went about their work. They removed the old forced-air furnace and roof-top cooler with a minimum of disruption and hassle. The owner and office staff were equally prompt and professional.

I did not want to have to write this critique, but Daniel left me no choice. In June of 2016, Daniel’s Heating and Cooling (DHC) replaced my roof-top swamp cooler with a new Master Cool unit. The work was done consistent with his Angie’s List reviews: prompt reply, fair price, timely installation. The unit worked fine this summer and last, but last month, my wife noticed some staining and buckling in our bedroom ceiling, below where the swamp cooler sits. My investigation revealed nothing, so I call DHC, and thus began the run-around. First, the woman who answered the phone tried to blame me for not buying a service contract. When I told her it had nothing to do with the functionality of the unit, she then said it was beyond the one year installation warranty so I’d have to pay. While it’s true that I noticed the problem 3 months beyond the warranty expiration, the leaking I would learn was due to poor installation and only occurred when it rains. This year was a particularly dry monsoon along the foothills, so the rain and the warranty period didn’t coordinate well. Still, I agreed to the service charge in hopes of resolving the leak. Chris, from DHC, came to investigate. He was diligent and courteous, and after several trips in my attic and with me on the roof with a garden hose, he found two leaks that were installation related. Based on the rusting damage inside the “takeoff” (which connects the cooler to the duct work), he assessed it had been leaking for some time. However, after a long phone call, he informed me repairs would not be covered because the warranty had expired. He left that day with my issue unresolved and rain in the forecast for the next two days. I got out my trusty duct tape and got to work putting on a temporary patch so more water wouldn’t further damage my ceiling. After a few more very frustrating phone calls, I was told that Daniel had finally (and I suspect, reluctantly) agreed to send someone out to reseal around the base of the cooler and the electrical wiring, at no charge. I informed the caller of my patch work and asked her to make sure the workers removed the duct tape. Once I got home, I checked their repairs. The seal around the cooler was expanded and fresh, but they put the sealant around the electrical wires directly over the duct tape, leaving a questionable repair. When I called back to ask someone to come out to look at the situation and to confirm the other repair was adequate, I got the run-around again. I finally asked to speak directly with Daniel, who in my mind should have been more concerned about customer satisfaction and spoken with me prior. Three days now I have called DHC asking for Daniel to contact me with no reply from Daniel. My conclusion is that DHC is quick to sell products and perform new work, but after they are done you are left on your own. All my issues are clearly due to poor installation, but Daniel apparently does not stand behind his work. Instead, he hides behind his warranty. This is unfortunate, given his good reputation. If you hire him, make sure you check the installation carefully and often in the first year, and pray for rain. After that first year, good luck getting them to stand behind their work, or even calling you back. UPDATE 10-27-17: As a result of this review Daniel did finally contact me and agree to address my problem for no charge. He and Michael came to my house on 10-23-17 to address the situation. They both agreed that the duct tape under the sealant was a sufficient repair, but could not answer why the tech who put the sealant on said he removed the duct tape. Which in fact he hadn't. Michael removed the sealant and duct tape and resealed the area. Both Daniel and Michael returned today to insure the new repairs, kept the water out while I sprayed the roof with the hose. Both repairs were done well this time, so my issue is resolved. I am upgrading my review of Daniel's Heating and Cooling to a "B". I very much appreciate him resolving my issue, but in my opinion it should not have been this difficult. Had Daniel told Chris to just reseal the leaks when he came out the first time all of this could have been avoided and I would have happily given and "A" rating.

Daniel's gave us the best estimate among other companies. Ted was very thorough is his analysis of the equipment we needed to replace to aging A/C R22 units and a water heater. We were not oversized or oversold a system. The team came and completed the work as promised and within the agreed schedule. The team members were punctual and professional. I have no had any issues with the equipment or installation. I have recommended Daniel's to friends and will continue to do so.

It went very well. Everything was fixed or adjusted that needed to be. My technician was professional and answered all of my questions with detailed answers.

Great people, great work. They were out the same day and fixed the problem. Have always used them and have always gotten complete satisfaction.

Service technician was punctual and competent. He efficiently determined the unit was in good condition and was operating properly -- except that it had no filter. He installed a filter at my request. The unit was working perfectly when he left, but later that night it stopped altogether. The following morning -- the July 4 Independence Day Holiday -- I called and reached the firm's answering service. The answering service operator contacted a company rep who called me back, and the company rep arranged for the technician to drive to our home in Santa Fe from Albuquerque notwithstanding the fact it was a holiday and the firm was not open that day. The technician concluded that a wiring connection that apparently was loose before his work the previous day -- in any area of the unit he had not accessed -- had been jarred loose when he removed the unit's cover to inspect the unit. He secured the connection, and the unit has been working perfectly ever since. There was no charge for the return service call on the holiday. I was very impressed by what the company did to make its (brand new) customer whole -- it was both very responsible and very responsive.

Smoothly. Tech was competent, efficient, thorough and personable (and a Veteran).

I got a few different quotes from different companies, and Daniel's was the first of those quotes. Fabian came to my house, and he seemed extremely knowledgeable, professional, and personable. He explained our options to us, and sent us our full quote in a good amount of time. After receiving our other quotes, we decided that Daniel's wasn't only professional, but it was a very good price as well. He came back for some follow-up questions and explanations, and afterwords we set the times and dates for installation. Fabian came back about a week before the installation to get some information on our house, and we paid about 50% as a down payment for the installation. The day of the installation, they came on time and did great work. I had the appointment set up for Thursday and Friday, and they did work all day Thursday and most of the day Friday. They had to do a few adjustments to the area where my furnace sits, but after everything was done they cleaned up my hallway and left everything in great shape. I would use them again, and I am planning to use them the next time I need anything serviced.

The heater wasn't set right and was causing the problem. It did need cleaning, but it was not unusable. I found out later, that the part could have just been repaired without being replaced. I don't want to say anything negative because it was a difficult situation, but I don't feel 100% satisfied that I didn't overpay.

I had the evaporative cooler start up service along with a hose bib replaced. They showed up early but called first to confirm that it was okay. Darren and Dallas were professional, answered all of my questions and concerns, did a good job of cleaning the air conditioner out first, so that a lot of debris did not fly out of the vents, which I really appreciate. Made suggestions to me on how I could assure better performance from my air conditioner and save in future repair costs. I have no complaints, only praise for this company. This is the second time I have had them out to do work on this property. Last year they cleaned all the vents. They did a good job then as well. I would hire them again.

They kind of screwed up the installation, but they did actually get it fixed.

Two guys came out to do the work. It took about 40 minutes to do the work. They have been doing a lot of work for us and they have been very good at it.

Daniels continues to excel at quality service, customer relations and price.

We have an older house and it's quite large and they did a good part of the house in heating and air conditioning. We are really happy with it.

I scheduled an estimate for April 13th. Darren arrived on time. He was very thorough with his explanation & I was prepared to schedule the call. We discussed a date, but he said I would need to call the office. He told me they usually require 50% down in order to hold the date. I told him I wasn't comfortable with that (doesn't Angie's List & everyone else recommend that you DON'T prepay for services?). I told him I'd be willing to pay $500, which is the limit on my debit card. He said that should be fine, since the main reason is to pay for supplies needed for the job. When I called today, the woman (didn't get a name) REFUSED to let me pay the $500. She said I had to pay the 50% & wanted me to call my bank to get an exception for the amount. I told her I wasn't willing to do that & would find a different company to do the job.

EXCELLENT! The owner, Daniel came to my home at 4PM because all his techs were out on calls and he did not want me to freeze. He found the problem quickly and fixed it.

Because of the sudden change in weather, all of the techs were out doing service calls. the OWNER, Daniel made a U-turn on his way home after he found out that I was without heat and it was very cold in my home. He went above and beyond that's for sure. As an added fyi, I called another company first as soon as I felt the chill in my home and realized the heat wasn't working. Someone came out and was trying to charge me $650 for a part he said I needed. I sent him on his way as I did not have the money and felt like he was scamming me. All it cost me with Daniel from Daniel's was an hour labor charge. All that was wrong was a copper wire was old and not making a connection to fan the heated air thru my vents.

Fine. The installers had to work in a very tight space, but the everything still looks great.
