Coldest evening of the year so far and our glow coil died on our furnace. Daniels fit us into his schedule and technician was there the very next day. Technician was professional, quick and answered all our questions to our satisfaction. We will use this provider again.

Daniel came to our house on a Saturday. He showed up on time, finished faster than quoted, and did a very thorough job. He was also good about making recommendations for regular servicing intervals on the heater, and some further maintenance that might be warranted in the future. Great guy.

We have used Daniels several times in the past (I wrote previous review just a couple of months ago on a complete HVAC install on another house - FYI). Just as before, their work was outstanding. This work was on another house we have. They replaced a combo unit at this house (heat and refrigerated air unit on roof). We needed it done ASAP and they responded wonderfully. Had it done in 1.5 days (tenants didn't have heat!!). Our actions speak much louder than words ... we have used them repeatedly for both small and a couple of big jobs. Would recommend without reservation. Very professional. Great work. Nice people!

The technician at Daniels checked out and tuned up furnace, replaced filter,checked for CO leaks, set humidifier for winter use and explained to me how it works. I was very pleased. He was very professional and cleaned up before leaving. Another company I hired last year couldn't figure out the humidifier so it had not been used during my first winter in the house.

I returned to live in my family home after being out if state for 13 years. The home had been a rental and I wanted to make sure everything was in order. I called Daniel's after reading reviews on Angie's list. I had to reschedule a couple of times and they were very cooperative and always tried to accomodate my schedule. However, when Daniel arrived at my home the experience went quickly downhill. He spent perhaps 10 minutes testing the unit and then pronounced that there were several cracks in the heat exchanger, producing carbon monoxide. He stated that the CO level was 2ppm and that the unit should not be started and run. He started the unit anyway and recommended the unit be replaced at a cost of $1800. I researched the CO issue and found the federal regulators have set the danger limit at 50ppm, not 2. Yesterday, the coldest day of the year so far, the unit quit. After calling a different company, I was told - and shown - that nothing had been done to clean or properly check the unit. The 2nd technician did not see evidence of cracks. He read the CO measure at 4ppm but that it wasn't an issue until it got up closer tp the 40-50 range. He said the furnace was working at 70% efficiency and wouldn't need replacing for several years. I feel that Daniels took me for a ride. All he was there for was to line his own pocket by trying to convince me to spend money on a furnace that did not need replacing. I can't know what he was thinking but I can say -- "WOMAN" DOES NOT EQUAL "IGNORANT". And I resent his attempt to cheat me. I will be asking for a refund because I paid him for services that were not completed. I doubt however I will ever hear from him.

Daniel was on time and polite. He performed his work quickly and professionally, explaining all that he did. I would recommend his services to family and friends, and would certainly call for his services again.

They completed all work in a timely fashion (it took a week or so longer than they estimated but this was due to city inspection delays, nothing to do with them). All work was first rate. They were courteous, professional, timely, and did excellent work. We have used them on other occasions and just like our other experiences they did an outstanding job. We will definitely use them again as need arises.

It went incredibly well - in fact I can't imagine it going much better. Our swamp cooler died on a Thursday and we committed ourselves that night to an upgrade to refrigerated air. On Friday I called for 3 quotes and on Monday they all arrived in succession. Daniel (the owner) did the estimate, took his time, and asked pertinent questions and discussed several options. He won our business on all counts: most efficient unit quoted (SEER 14.5), most thorough and detailed quote, highest degree of professionalism, lowest cost. That afternoon we faxed back our signed quote and tentatively scheduled an install for the following week. On the faxed quote I noted we could accommodate him sooner (after all it was late Aug and the weather was still hot), and his receptionist immediately called and said they could do it *the next day*. I was pleasantly surprised, my wife cleared her work schedule to supervise, and sure enough - by the next evening it was installed and working great. The technicians were highly competent and very polite. We showed our gratitude for the speedy and successful install by paying in cash. Daniel met with me the next day to install a new filter and to go over the paperwork. It's been 6 weeks now and everything is still working great. We highly recommend them.

I can't praise this company too highly. They started with a crew of four men, and worked very efficiently. As you can tell, it was a big job involving removal of our existing equipment, and enlarging a cool air return and all sorts of alterations to our existing duct work for the new furnaces and the air conditioning function . The whole thing took about three days, and the crew left our house every afternoon in very neat and clean condition. They used mats on the entrance floors to protect them, and took pains to test everything out before leaving us. Daniel, the owner, demonstrated the thermostats and how to use them, and I know if we had any problems or questions, he would be most prompt in response. The city gas inspector recommended a wider duct connection to our water heater, and the Daniels employee was here within an hour installing it. We are most happy with the highly-rated Trane systems Daniels uses, and the effortless way they move from heating to air conditioning to keep the temperature where we want it. We got four estimates from A companies on Angie's List, and Daniels' price was about in the middle, but the estimate was very complete; we knew just what we would get, and we are most happy with the result and with our relations with this firm.

Daniels removed our existing swamp cooler and old furnaces and replaced with refrigerated air conditioning. We needed two units for our two story home. They came when they said they would, did the work in two days instead of three, were professional and courteous. We had asked that they use the crane to remove our hot top from a second story balcony and they did so. Additionally, the garbage disposal went out and they installed one, which we purchased. I would definitely recommend Daniels to anyone in our area.

I was VERY impressed by the service I received.. The men were so professional and friendly and performed the service quickly. They took the time to explain the problem and what they did to fix it. I felt confident that they would not try to proivde a service that wasn't needed. I will use them again

Technician was very courteous and professional. Took his time, excellent work, made sure all was in working order including taping. No hidden fees, no attempt to sell other "stuff". We've used them before on combo unit on one of our rentals and have been delighted with all services they have provided and the people they send out.

The staff arrived on the day they said and worked the morning, and then left until the next day without explaining the plan or why. The next day was an attempted photo finish because a lot had to be done and they were here until 7:30 at night trying to get it all done. i think there was something about the gas line that took more time to finish.. It was very hot and they did get the AC going as it was a holiday weekend and they didn't come back until Tuesday to finish the gas and furnace installation. Being an older house, there were issues with making the lines go where they were supposed to in a neat fashion (one went thru the master closet and is very neat). The workers were very professional and particularly careful of my small dog not to let her out when doors were open. They were careful to put drop cloths down to protect the carpet, and for the 3 days we waited to have them finish, everything was neat. I would have liked more communication about how the project was going as it progressed and why they had to leave for long periods of time. But all in all, their price was competitive for the quality of items they offered and we were very pleased with the overall project. I would recommend them and use them again. I know they were very busy, but a nice touch would be to have the owner stop by after the project is completed to check on satisfaction, etc.

Appointment was made approximately a week from the initial call date, which was fine for us as it was not an emergency nor was it blazing hot yet.The service tech sent to us was named Danner, whom we MUST mention was very informative, kind and polite. Danner arrived an hour prior to the scheduled appointment time (having called several hours ahead to ok the time change with us). Danner immediately went to work after clarifying the service we desired was the service we were scheduled for.Danner brought his own ladder (I mention this because we have had multiple service technicians who DO NOT bring thier own tools, ladders, measuring tapes etc...). The whole process seemed to take just over half an hour, we did not time him specifically tho. He explained fully the items which were given attention and answered all our questions.Danner cleaned up after himself, taking care of our property the entire time, We were given a price that seemed more than fair for what was done and was well within what we had heard was the "going rate".Danner told us before leaving to call for close down service at the end of the warm season and then went above and beyond by telling us he lived nearby and that if we needed anything or had any concerns with our system to just call and he would pop over!! How nice is that? We really were impressed and our swamp cooler is working better than it ever has since we bought our house (new construction) 3 yrs ago!!

Contacted them on 4/30/2012 and made and appointment for between 4 and 6pm on 5/1/2012. The technician called me at 5:49pm and said they were running a little late and clarified the directions to my residence. At 6:36pm I called the technician and was transferred to voice mail. At 6:37pm I called the main office and was told they were on their way. At 6:53pm Their main office called me and said they would be here in "about a half hour" at which time I cancelled the appointment. I understand that things happen and that crews can have "bad days" - the frustrating element for me is that they didn't contact me to tell me they were going to be late until 5:50pm, didn't give me any idea of what a "little late" meant and, after an additional hour of waiting, I was told I was going to have to wait another half hour "hopefully". If you can't make your scheduled appointments due to unforeseen circumstances, let the customer know as soon as you know and reschedule. Essentially, I sat around for 3 hours waiting and was asked to wait for another half hour, which would not have included the time it took them to do the actual work.

I called them in the afternoon and they were able to send someone out that same day. The serviceman told me that he could fix the pump that I already had, but I twice had problems with it, so I opted for a new pump. The work was done in minutes and I was so glad that they sent someone that day. I would definitely call them again.

It went very well. Daniels heating was prompt, courteous and very honest with me about what I was asking them to bid on.

Excellent. Prompt, good price and good service. The owner and employees were very professional and very knowledgeable. Did not try to pressure us into something we did not need or want. I would highly recommend to family and friends.

The job took a little longer than expected (not their fault - my old house ALWAYS has surprises) They kept me informed every step of the way and apologized for the additional time. (The entire job, start to finish, took about 5 days)
