We bought a 1970's home and we knew that the swamp cooler would have to be replaced as the unit was holding with ties and wires. We expected to have a couple of years before replace it by getting the unit serviced and cleaned. When the representative of Daniels came to our place he was on time, very professional and informative. He explained all things he will be checking on the unit and he went to the roof. About 15 minutes later he came down and showed us pictures of the unit. Basically it was falling apart and it was in very bad shape as no proper maintenance had been done to the unit. He was honest and upfront. He mentioned that he could fix the unit and make it work but it would eventually breakdown becoming a money pit. When we were assessing the options he offered different suggestions for replacement units that would fit our livable space. Mind you he was not the sales person but he knew his stuff and gave us ballpark figures to better a**** the total expense and make our decision easy. He left without charging anything for the visit and let us think about how to proceed. In the afternoon we received a phone call from the Sales guy, and we made an appointment later on to have a firm quote as we decided to replace the unit. He stop by our place as agreed, and prepared different alternatives to replace the unit, from A/C to a A/C coil and a swamp cooler. We decided to stick to the swamp cooler as it seems to be a better fit for the location of our house Once again he left and let us digest the information. Once we had a conversation and decided how to proceed we called him and make an appointment the next day (Saturday) to give him the down payment for the unit and installation, and to schedule the job. We follow up via phone with him to make some adjustments and then later with Michele. Everybody was so nice. The installers came over on time, again explaining what they were doing, they replaced the base for the unit, and they did a very clean job and picking up perfectly after themselves. It was just a great and stress free experience. They meet our expectations and more as we have now a perfect system that keeps our house very comfortable.

Kyle arrived on time and explained everything he would be doing from start to finished. He was very thorough in explaining the entire process. Kyle was very professional at all times. He was very neat and cleaned up prior to leaving. I would recommend this company to anyone in the Albuquerque Area. Daniels Heating And Air Conditioning is a wonderful company to work with. All staff we had contact with were very professional and answered all questions before contracting them for the work. I would also add that I called them 08/13/14 and they came the next day. I contacted their competitor who was unable to do the work until 09/04/14. We have two evaporative units, twenty air ducts, a semi-annual maintenance agreement included in the price. By checking Angie's List we saved $200.00 on the duct and cooler system cleaning. Of course the semi-annual maintenance agreement and dryer vent cleaning were not included in the $199.00 Duct and Evaporative Cooler system price of $199.00.

The technicians arrived on time and worked hard throughout the day. They ran into an unexpected problem and dealt with it efficiently. Work was completed in the time frame originally stated. The technician communicated well with us and returned to install some additional parts. We are very pleased to now have heat in the bedroom which had previously not had it. It was as if the original contractor had never finished the job. We would definitely use Daniels again.

Our central AC unit went out in the middle of a heat wave. I called several providers including those who say they have emergency service and none could come out before 24 to 48 hours. I called Daniels and they were able to get me into a same day appointment because of our situation and at regular non emergency rates. The tech came out, found it was a capacitor and replaced it. And we have enjoyed the cool air ever since. Both office an field personal were very friendly and professional. Thank you Daniels.

As usual, great service. Fan went out on furnace / AC unit so no AC. Daniels came out ASAP, diagnosed problem, and replaced motor. Unit back up and going in a couple of hours.

Came out ASAP after hours. Had temporary solution to AC worked for the night until they could return with new motor and fan in the morning. Returned first thing in am and finished fixing. Excellent job. Very responsive.

Tyler was very thorough and professional. He explained what he was going to do and did it. There was very little disruption. He picked up after himself and left all in very good shape. I'd have no problem calling Daniel's Heating and AC again in the future.

Daniels Heating and Air Conditioning was easy to work with and professional. However, after 3 visits and replacing several components on the air conditioning unit (at a cost of approx $700) the problem was still not fixed. I eventually put new batteries in our programmable thermostat and that fixed the issue. Possibly the components would have required replacing at some point in the future anyway, but they were not the cause of the problem.

It was okay. The one tech was at the home for a couple of hours. I had no problems with scheduling and the tech came when he said he would. They did have to reschedule one time. Also, his equipment wasn't working correctly when it came to the larger ducts. .

This year I decided that it was time to replace the old HVAC system in the house. After the usual contractor bid and selection process (and polling thru reviews on Angie's List) , I went with Daniels Heating & Air Conditioning. The whole experience was one of the best I've had working with a contracted company. From the first call to Jennifer in the main office to schedule a bid appointment, to completed install took less than a week. Their field rep Ted was always on time and kept me completely informed during the whole process. The crew showed up on schedule, were professional and diligent in their work. The owner even showed up to inspect the install and ensure everything was completely dialed in before system start up. The crew hauled all the old equipment out and did an excellent job cleaning up. The total HEIL HVAC conversion was completed in 1 day! With a nice cool house, the last ones to leave were Ted and the company owner. We had a good conversation about what was achieved that day and I was assured that Daniel's stands behind their work and installed products. Based on my experience with them to date and their written warranty, I have no doubt about it! The next day, Jennifer worked with my schedule to set up the city electrical and mechanical inspections. Both completed without issue. Based on an outstanding customer experience, a quality installed system, and a very comfortable house during monsoon season, I would definitely recommend Daniel's.

Everything went find and we also contracted them to come and turn on our front cooler and turn it off and service it in the fall and the spring. The guy was just very nice and helpful. He was very accommodating and he said our vents looked really good. It took less time because we hadn't moved in yet, there was no furniture to move or anything like that. It took probably half the time than usual.

It was pretty good. They were prompt. I was pleased with how good they were.

This early spring our very old and very noisy heater died. Upon checking it i discovered our water heater was also leaking. In addition to this our air conditioner was very inefficient and the under slab ducts were rotted out. Dirt was blowing out the ducting! It was time for a mechanical system overhaul. I contacted several HVAC providers, Daniels gave the best estimate and provided the most thorough information of the system they would install. They were very prompt in answering my question and took into consideration my wanting to install the HVAC and Tankless in such away that i could use the bonus space in the mechanical closet. We settled on a Fujitsu high efficiency split system and a Rinnai Tankless water heater. The install took 4 days and they had a team there the whole time. They were on time every day, professional and friendly. The install looks clean they took the time to clean up after themselves everyday. When the job was completed they took the time to go through all the equipment with me and explain how it all worked, the warranty's, and the Club Daniel's service plan. In addition to that they provided information on all the available rebates and even took care of some of the paperwork for me. They pulled all the proper permits and arraigned the inspections. We had one small issue with the water heater and they sent a tech out right away to tweak it and it is running tip top. We are now enjoying a quiet, clean, great looking and efficient system. I give them the highest recommendation.

They showed up on time and went right to work. The two employees were very polite and professional. took about 3 hours give or take. They did a great job and cleaned up the mess. We had a problem with the motor. They came out the next day to check it out. Found out the motor was and replaced it. Super customer service by both the office people and the service employee that came out. All and all super company, great employees and great job done by all. My only complaint is the cost to install. But their cost was like the other estimates we got from other companies. Got three of them and use Daniels and glad we did. Will use them again.

The work went very well. The operator, Michael, was polite, thorough, conscientious, and created very little mess or disturbance, much less than created by previous companies. (Having just one operator present was much easier on me and the house than with two.) He was inventive about getting to some of the more difficult to reach ducts and freely answered questions about the process and his company. He worked steadily and finished in good time. Naturally, as a good company representative, he tried to sell me some further services. His sales talk was respectful, informative, and quite inoffensive. Michael gets an A+ from me for workmanship and attitude. I was less pleased with the office. I found the attitude of person who responded to phone calls lacking in professionalism. Michael was ready earlier than scheduled and the company called to see if he could come then, but since I arrived home only 15 minutes before the appointment, that was not possible, but I was glad to know the possibility was available

so, in short, if you enjoy having repairs done by in-experienced folks and want them to come out several times for things as simple as a swamp cooler start up, then use these folks, but I sure won't be using them again.

We had this system installed before any warm weather so it sat unused for several weeks, then after a warm spell, we turned it on and it worked perfectly, was quiet in operation, and did everything we had hoped for. This was the Fujitsu (vs. LG) split system and we love it. The installation went very well, no messes, everything done nice and neat, with only a bit of caulking that was needed where the electrical EMT came through the wall from the breaker box. This was no doubt something the electrical person forgot but we did this work so no problem. In short, we're satisfied in every way.

It was a while ago and I don't remember the details. I was not there when they repaired the heater. They were prompt and friendly according to my renters.
