I was very happy with the work and with all my dealings with the company. The cost for the flat roof is higher than the traditional flat roof resurface, but there is a lifetime warranty . You don't have to do the annual maintenance for this roof, like you do for the traditional flat roof. I like the deck and won't have to deal with maintaining wood decking. The salesman was professional and knowledgeable. He left me with samples of the materials and was prompt to return phone calls with my questions. The company was very busy--I had to schedule several months ahead, but they didn't ask for any deposit until I had a date from them. I paid half upfront and the rest on completion, when the salesman brought my written guarantee. The workers did the roof and the deck (which is also the roof over part of the house) in two separate jobs. Both were done in a day or two--I have a small house. They cleaned up well and were polite. I am very happy with the work.

We had a new roof put on 9 years and 6 month ago by another roofer and had nothing but problems so we were very cautious in researching a company to put a new roof on. BAC had good reviews by Angie's list and we were impressed with their product. They are expensive, but in the scheme of things considering the job they did we are very pleased. Our son had recently purchased a new home that also was in dire need of a new roof. BAC gave us a price break because we did both roofs at the same time. Again, we were very pleased with their responsiveness, their professionalism and their product.

The crew arrived on time and was courteous and communicative. They got the work done in 2 1/2 days, when we thought it might take up to a full week. They cleaned up after themselves. The roof looks beautiful. My only complaint was that, when they were anchoring the roofing materials to our ceiling beams, they frequently "missed" the beams, which meant screws through our ceiling. They immediately removed them, but initially did nothing to repair the unsightly damage on the inside. The skylight also appeared very unfinished on the inside. After mentioning these problems to Bill at our follow-up visit (and writing this review), Bill offered to send someone back to patch and paint the holes in the ceiling. (It turned out the skylight issue was just a communication.) Mario came and spackled and painted the ceiling and even painted the inside of the skylight, despite that not being part of their original committment. This is one of the most responsive and professional companies I have ever had work done by and I could not recommend them more strongly.

BAC did an estimate. Bill the representative was very professional. Then a contract was signed. When the weather permitter the services (a new pvc roof) began and I paid them $7,500.00. When the work was completed to my satisfaction, I then paid them the balance.

We purchased Angie's List to help find the best roofing company for our needs. The estimate on this roof was actually the highest we received, BUT, the LIFETIME warranty and the product made it the most economical in the long term. Bill Yountis came and gave us the estimate. He was very thorough and described in detail their product, and process for the roof installation. The workers arrived on time and were very good about clean up. We are very pleased with our roof.

I think it went really well. I was please with how courteous the work crew was and how hard and quickly they worked. The crew leader answered all my questions and addressed any concerns that I had. They work where no area of the roof is left unfinished when they leave for the day, in case in rains.

It is difficult to put into words how pleased I am with every aspect of having BAC Roofing install their Metro Metal Shingle system on our home. Each and every phase of, what anyone who has re-roofed their knows, can be an arduous and stressful experience was undertaken and completed by the BAC employees with the highest standards of professionalism and care to detail. All wrapped in a 5 yr. workmanship warranty that provides confidence we bought and receive the best products and service the market affords. Pricey, yes, worth the extra in peace of mind and professionalism, absolutely. A special note: after receiving the initial quote, I was hospitalized for nearly a month during which time BAC took the delay in stride and with minimal delay completed the job when I was able to proceed, taking into consideration my condition - all along the way.

Bill provided the estimate and was knowledgeable, professional and courteous. Patrick and his crew arrived on time and worked hard. They are highly skilled in all aspects from dismantling of our old pro-panel roof and weatherproofing and installion of the BAC product. The roofers were punctual and made sure to protect our roof from any inclimate weather daily while installing the new roof. Each day they cleaned up the worksite prior to leaving. We have extensive landscaping and the roofers were careful not to damage any plants or trees. BAC completed the job on time and at their estimated cost. We were thoroughly pleased with the entire experience. We were anxious at first but hope that our review will help ease the concern of prospective BAC customers. There is absolutely no cause for anxiety when working with this company and its employees. The product is expensive but upon considering the quality of this product and lifetime, transferable warrantee it is well worth the cost. The peace of mind we will have in years to come with our BAC Metro Single roof is priceless!

The original roof deck was made with a poor material that leaked. It is really two roof decks with a stairway between them - about 625 sq ft in total. I got three estimates for a new walkable roof deck. I found out that roof decks are much more costly to redo than regular roofs, and the stairway pushed up the cost because it was very labor-intensive. BAC, with their IB Deck Shield system, was the lowest estimate by about $4000. The product has a 10-year warranty, which is apparently typical for roof decks. After getting the estimate at the end of April, I was told my job was about eight weeks out. Having heard nothing by the end of June, I called, and found out that they were getting delayed by thunderstorms. Not much can be done about that. I had to call back a few times as the estimated start date kept slipping due to the summer monsoon. But I think they could be a bit more responsive in calling back. I usually had to wait a few days to get a response to my calls during this period. Eventually, they started the job a month later. The crew were very professional and did a good job. They installed the Deck Shield over the existing roof deck material, which made sense and saved time and money. It took a bit longer than their first estimate, but the price was exactly as quoted. At one point, two of the roof drains were left in an unsealed state overnight, and due to a heavy thunderstorm, there was a major leak onto my hardwood floor. However, BAC immediately agreed to pay for the floor repairs, so I was satisfied. Things like that do happen. I was also able to use the $500 Angie's List coupon. The amount I reported here does not include this discount. Overall, I was quite satisfied.

I contacted BAC through their website and received a phone call the next business day. They were very prompt in completing the free estimate and, while they were a bit more than others in the area, I felt satisfied with their prices. There was a bit of a waiting list and we ended up having to wait close to a month before they could start work but they were upfront with us about this when they gave us the estimate. They arrived on time the first day of work and took the time to explain what they're plan would be and how long it would take them to complete the job. The first thing they did was put down a drop cloth under their truck so that it wouldn't drip any oil or other fluids on our driveway. The amount of respect for other's personal belongings has to be enormous for someone to think of doing that. The whole job was handled in that type of respect. They even took the time to check the backyard for any nails before my two small children went outside to play. They completed the job on time and we have had no problems with our roof. The guys at BAC were great. I would recommend them to anyone needing work done on their roof.

Be prepared for a long lead time if you're having a roof replacement done by BAC. We were told it would take 2 months before our leaky, tar and gravel flat roof could be replaced and it was 2 months to the day when work started on our roof. You may have a bit of interior drywall/plaster damage or ceiling penetrations as we did when the guys get to tearing off the old roof and laying down the insulation and membrane. Get all this clarified BEFORE the job starts so it won't be a shock or surprise if it does happen. BAC is expensive, but no more expensive than roofers laying down old-school, problematic tar and gravel roofs. We got 6 estimates on our roof replacement and BAC was right there in the mix...not the lowest and not the highest. We chose them because of their high reviews here on Angie's List and because they offered a better, more technologically advanced alternative roofing system with a far superior product and warranty. LOW POINT: This happened on the second day of the job when one of the less-experienced crew members drilled 24 holes through our master bedroom rough beam and wood panel ceiling and 14 more holes through the same type of ceiling in the living room. I got home and saw the damage (with some screws projecting down a good inch or more) and literally blew my cork, I was so angry (righteous anger is one thing, but I went a little overboard and that wasn't good on my part). This was simple carelessness on the part of the worker and a lack of supervision on the part of the team leader. I was told this damage would be repaired to my satisfaction (see high points) . We also had some slight interior wallboard/plaster damage from the roof removal as well. (My "B" rating for the "QUALITY" category is relevant to this issue, not the roofing system itself...ditto for the "PROFESSIONALISM" category.) HIGH POINTS: 1) The guys were some some of the hardest workers I've ever seen. They did a very demanding and difficult job under some of the worst heat conditions we've had this time of year (temps in the 90s to 100!). They were courteous, responsive, and on time. 2) Bill Younts, salesman and job coordinator, was a shining star throughout the re-roofing process. He was courteous, understanding, patient, and thorough. He responded to my sometimes irate phone calls promptly and said the company would make good on any problems or issues (like the ceiling penetrations) and he was correct. Bill's a real asset to BAC and an excellent sales and customer service rep. He made sure everything was right in the end. 3) Bert (final inspection) and Mario (team leader) came out on the last day of the job to check things out, clean up, and make things right. Everything was taken care of promptly and courteously. 4) BAC delivered on their promises in their end and that's what really counts. With BAC, you won't get the typical BS and runarounds that are so common in N. New Mexico from roofers and contractors. You'll get your money's worth from a company with a great product and that understands customer service and delivers the goods in a timely fashion. BAC earned their "A" rating from me and I highly recommend the company. (P.S. We've had rains recently and the roof is working like a charm.)

I was pleased overall with the quality of the work and service. I really like the lifetime warranty that comes with this roof, although it did come in about $2500 higher than other roof types, but came with only a 10year warranty. These other roof types also required more maintenance. I didn't mind paying extra just for the peace of mind and less maintenance along the way.

When we realized a new roof was going to be our best choice rather than having it repaired, we spoke to two friends who recommended BAC Enterprises. We got three estimates on the cost of a new roof, the highest bid being two thousand dollars less than BAC's estimate with only a 10 year warranty. When Bill Younts gave us the estimate he asked asked if we were members of Angie's List. We were not but he advised us that if we were, there was a $500 coupon toward the cost of a new roof on Angie's site for members. We were impressed with that kind of honesty! The job took longer than expected because of weather but the crew was very dependable, professional and polite. It was obvious that those fellows were happy BAC employees! During the process of removing the sky lights, some of the dry wall was mildly damaged. Bill came over and upon seeing where repairs were needed was very helpful making sure we would remain happy customers. We will be needing some new sky lights in time (not because of damage caused by the roofers) and had we known that earlier, we would have had them installed at the same time the roof was replaced.We would definitely recommend BAC, more expensive but along with a new roof came peace of mind with a lifetime warranty.

I found them through Angie’s List. They are local. I chose them because of the quality of their product and the lifetime warranty on the product. I liked the quick completion of the job. It is hard to rate them on price because it is a premium product. I would recommend them. I hope I wouldn’t have to use them again.

See above. The crew (from Sales, to workmen), were fantastic to work with. I highly recommend the company and the workers. The product is extremely reliable as is the workmanship to warrant the lifetime guarantee. I even recommended them to the insurance company as a preferred roofing company.

03/2012 -We had a tar and gravel roof that was approximately 18 years old. To replace my exisiting tar and gravel roof with another would have been half as much. However, the warranty would have only been for 5 years on labor and material. BAC provided a 10yr warranty on labor and the manuf. provides lifetime on the material, Also with the tar and gravel roof you are continually re-taring the spot on the roof where the roofing material meets the parapets. I had been through enough of this. I can't say enough good things about Bill and his crew. The only reason I gave them a "B" overall is because the price was so high. 08/27/2012 -BAC has been less then stellar in meeting the county inspector for the final inspection. I have called twice and last time the inspector went out to the house(about 2 weeks ago) he said that no one from BAC met him there so he could not do the inspection. He recorded it as "Inspection Failed", because no ladder was there for him to access the roof. He called BAC back that day and advised them and still to this day they have not followed up. I called and spoke to both BAC and the inspector today again. I offered to leave a ladder out for the inspector so he can get up on the roof tomorrow. The inspector also advised me that he has this same problem with several other customers in my area that utilized BAC. Come on BAC, I know you guys can do better then this!

They did a very good job. They were clean. We will use them again.

Bill and crew were professional, knowledgeable and courteous from the original phone contact through the final inspection and payment. We researched various companies and types of roofing and are most confident in our choice of BAC Roofing and its product.

They were fantastic. My friend recommended them. I gave their name to one friend and then another friend. My friends were happy with them. They were really expensive. They have lifetime warranty. Their work was good. They cleaned up. I would highly recommend them. If you give them my name that I recommend you to them, then I get $200. They do flat and pits roof. Their work was amazing. They are incredible. I never had any problem. If I had a problem, they would come and fix that. They were not cheap but you don’t have to get the work done again. The workers always showed up on time. It’s worth paying that price to them. I would use them in the future.

BAC Enterprises had a lifetime guarantee. If they weren't expensive, I would have chosen them. The fellow was knowledgeable and pleasant. He certainly was on time. I can't speak more highly of that BAC Enterprises.

The worker that came out isn't very good with cement. We need the corners to be cemented properly as high winds will damage it. We weren't very happy about the job he did. It seems he didn't mix the cement right. We haven't had rain to find out if there are any other leaks. It took a week for them to repair the roof. We will see if we have any more problems.

They were efficient and professional. They came back two weeks later and checked everything again. Very happy with the work.

They had a very interesting roofing product, this product has a life-time guarantee. The only reason why I did not end up using them is because of the price, I couldn't afford their product.
