The job went really well. I give them the highest ratings across the board.

Although they were expensive, they were very good. I did the roof in installments and the estimator seemed honest and competent. The workmen were efficient and attentive to their jobs and I will use them again in the future.

They did the work yesterday. I liked everything about them and will use them again in the future.

My house is approx 2000sf, including the garage, and the cost was just under $17,000. The entire roof was replaced, and they also replaced 4 skylights. It took four days to complete the work. The crew showed up on time every day, left things neat and tidy when they left for the day, and cleaned up very well on the last day. The cost was about twice what another tar and gravel roof would've been, but if the roof lasts as well as the company says it will, it will be worth the cost. Also, the stucco on my parapets was in need of some maintenance/repair, and I didn't have to pay to have this done because of the way the membrane comes up over the top of the parapets. So this was a little bit of cost savings. It was also really nice not to have to deal with the smell and mess of the tar and gravel experience. It seems like the IB Systems roof does help my house to stay a little cooler on really hot days. My only complaint is that the IB Systems video that explains the whole process is quite misleading when it comes to the cost. This is a complaint about IB, not BAC. When I talked to the BAC rep about it, he admitted that the video is misleading, as it does not factor in the cost of going up over the parapets when it talks about the cost of replacing a roof (the cost in the video was much lower than the actual cost turned out to be). Though my roof has not stood the test of time yet, based on my experience thus far, I would definitely recommend this roof and would make the same decision again. BAC was very easy to work with and they seem to have done a good job.

It is an IB roofing system with PVC. They also give a lifetime warranty. There are no reasons for leaks after they apply it. They have to take off all the sprayed foam before they put the membrane down and the heat will weld it. They quoted me about $11473. They were knowledgeable. They sat down and talked about how it’s applied and how they deal with the penetrations. They have little things already made and those are put around the vents and the heat is welded as well. They first used it in Portland, Oregon and the roof is still there. You can’t really tell that it’s 35 years old. They are very confident and have a lot of confidence in their product. The warranties are similar and there is a lifetime warranty on the materials. They also have a tenure workmanship. It all seemed very upfront. You know what you are going to get. I have an area that would be seen from the street where they would be placing the membrane over the wall going down into the roof over the porch, which is at a lower elevation. It’s about one and a half feet below the level of the main roof. They wanted it over that wall instead of having that stuccoed. I am not sure how it’s going to work on the roofing that’s on the porch. When I got the idea about the stucco, I wanted a different color and they only offered two colors. They were very courteous and prompt. Thomas came out and he was very nice and patient with me as well. This quote is good till the end of July. So, I would probably call them again if I can’t make a decision. I don’t think it would be less. I hope it would be about the same if I ask them to come back. Thomas said that he wouldn’t be able to start for about 8 to 9 weeks since they have that much business. It’s not like they would run out of business.

I thought they were excellent. It took awhile to get it done because we had some unexpected weather and they had to do the requests in order. They were very professional, they cleaned up after themselves, they were very courteous, and they came back to test and inspect the roof after a certain amount of time. It has a lifetime warranty and all of the others only had a 5 year warranty. The only problems we had were getting some phone calls returned but they showed up on time.

I had researched roofing materials for some time and decided that the IB PVC membrane roof made the most sense for northern NM flat roofs. Yes, it is the most expensive option out there. But it is also the most durable and the only one with a lifetime warranty. It's also an Energy Star "cool" roof. When we bought the house, new, it had a foam roof with gravel on top (for UV protection). It had a 10-year warranty, which turned out to be useless, because the company disappeared. I wasn't going to go with a "local" fly-by-night company again. If the contractor (BAC) goes out of business, at least our warranty is backed by the manufacturer, which has been in business in Oregon for over 30 years. Though we didn't have any leaks from our 7-year-old roof, it was starting to deteriorate along the parapets where there was no gravel. There was also some buckling. And the ravens liked to peck at the foam, so it was just a matter of time until something bad happened. We elected to reroof before we had to repair damages. (I would never recommend a foam roof to anyone.) We signed a contract in late August and were expecting a mid-October start date. Because of bad weather and travel plans, we had to delay until December, which was later than we would have liked, but normally, they can roof in the cold. We had snow during the reroofing period, though, which slowed the process down considerably. Even under the best scenario, the job (which I was originally told would take 5 to 6 working days) would have taken 8 to 9 days (for approximately 5200 square feet, including garage and portals). However, Bill and the crew foreman were good about letting me know if they couldn't come because of weather. The crew was professional and polite. Everyone speaks English, which is a plus if you don't speak Spanish and need to let the roofers know that they have missed a viga and run into the tongue-and-groove ceiling. Yes, there were a few glitches. They're almost inevitable if you have a flat roof and either a wood or plaster ceiling. They try to hit the beams, but they missed a few times and had to back out the screws. There was no significant visible damage from the screw back-outs in the tongue-and-groove ceilings, but there was a two-inch plaster break-off in the kitchen ceiling plaster, which BAC had repaired by another contractor after the roofing was completed. The fix looks good as new. There was also some plaster stress cracking/falling from around beams due to all the activity on the roof (boots, heavy rolls of material being dropped, etc.). I guess I could have made them repair that, too, but that seems inevitable if you have plaster interior walls. We have very high winds in our area (Eldorado), and the crew sometimes left materials unsecured on the roof (buckets, shovel, bits of material), so that made for some noisy nights. After they had secured the parapet material at the top, we had high winds, and the flaps, loose at the bottom, created excessive noise, so they added an interim step and secured the material so it wouldn't flap. Overall, we are happy with the results. We found out, after we signed the contract, that two neighbors also have IB roofs and are happy with them.

It has been great. It has helped to keep the heat in and kept the house cooler. My heating bill went down some. It also has a 25 year warranty.

So far it is good. They are using thermal plastic roofing materials, which are very expensive but it comes with a lifetime warranty on materials and a 10-year warranty on workmanship. They have been in business a long time. They do a very detailed job on a flat roof. It is called a seamless roof. They put the material on and then they seal the seams. They roll out the seams and then use a 900-degree temperature to seal the seams. We felt that out of the people that we interviewed they would do the best job. Several of our neighbors had used them and our insurance agent recommended them. It is very expensive and we could have gotten a lot cheaper roof. The warranties are transferable and go with the home if you sell it. Our house is only 21 years old and we have already had two roofs put on. We didn't want to do it again after this time. That is why we paid the top price so hopefully this will take care of all of the problems. The material helps to deflect the sunrays in the summer and absorb it in the winter. It is energy efficient and holds more heat in the winter. You can get it in white or tan. We chose the tan. They are finishing the roof today.

This company was recommended highly by a neighbor and online ratings. It was important that this company coordinate with the solar system installers, which was somewhat of a problem initially, but they were very good at solving scheduling issues and worked very well with the solar system installers. Workers were professional, prompt and very competent. There was a detailed crew inspection followed by an independent inspector that was not on the crew of all work including all welded seams. Roof quality exceeded our expectations.

Their initial estimate as to when they would perform the work was a bit optimistic, due to bad weather. This was not their fault. They did show up at the modified start date. I think they did a good job.

They did a thorough and professional job, finished more quickly than I expected. I have since noticed that the areas they re-roofed are much better insulated, do not get as cold in the winter, and my heating bills decreased.

Phenomenal. They were absolutely excellent, neat, the price was good and they are not high pressured sales. He was the most professional person that I've ever dealt with.

They are very easy to work with and get ahold of. They are very quick and the work is done well. Their warranties are also excellent. I will definitely use them in the future.

These guys did a superb job! They showed up when they said they would, did the job in less time than estimated, billed me the estimated cost, and cleaned up the work area every day and totally cleaned up at the end of the job. The finished project exceeded my expectations both in appearance and quality of workmanship. I recommend this company with enthusiasm.
