Our pueblo style house had two stucco covered walls, front and back, that were shedding their stucco. The Earp crew completely scraped off all the old stucco and repaired wall and resurfaced the walls. He matched the color of our house exactly. He came to give the bid in a timely matter and was very professional. I had recieved two other bids from well known stucco companies that were $1000 higher and the owner/bidders were not nearly as professional in their manner and process of measuring. The workers did a great job, were neat and cleaned up and did not have to trim as many plantings as the other companies said had to be trimmed or removed. I highly recommend BW Earp on their stucco work.

He was scheduled to be at my house at 10am and did not show. I called twice to his contact number, which no one checked and to me at least carry a cell phone so you can be available. i left messages as to why he was not here by 12pm. He finally called around 4 pm and said that he forgot to show. To me, that is a poor excuse

Response from B.W. Earp, Inc.
Dear [member name removed], I am sorry that you feel unhappy with our company but I do not have a record of giving you an estimate. Was it perhaps under another name? We do stucco repairs but not just one or two cracks. When on an estimate and we come across a small repair we refer someone else. If you are interested in obtaining that name I would be happy to help, just give us a call Monday morning. Donna Earp

The stucco in one area of our parapets was cracked and water leaking. Since the parapets had been previously repaired and the repair did not last, we had them redo all parapets on the house. They were clear on what they would do to fix the problem, not just patch over the issue. While there for that primary reason we had them repair various miscellaneous stucco problems around the house. Several quotes were obtained, ranging from a compete whole house stucco replacement to patching. I felt B.W. Earp provided an accurate and fair assessment of what was truly needed. They performed the work over several days as they said they would.

They matched the color perfectly and did a perfect job. Where the pet door was is so blended you'd never know there had been one. The owner got up on the roof to see what condition our parapets were in. The guys removed the pet door which was glued and screwed in place although we were willing to do it. They were business like, fast, and left everything clean. This is the second time we've used them and both times they were 100% perfect in every way.

Excellent job all around. Crew was very friendly, courteous and thoughtful, and did many things for our convenience. Also did a lot of little extra things without being asked, such as moving a shed full of equipment (twice), repairing some small construction defects. Our landscaping was treated very well (including lots of wall climbing plants, which were put back as they were originally), and cleanup was very good. Job was priced competitively, completed in the timeframe we asked for, and in about as short a time as could be expected during very windy weather. They worked with us to get the color just to our liking, and the resulting color and finish are very pleasing and uniform. This company sets a very high standard, yet their bid was lower than some others.
Description of Work: Did a re-stucco of our house, complete with wrapping the whole thing with new mesh, base coat and primer to remedy bad cracking problems due to poor original stucco.

The job was subbed to B. Earp by Dave Kundert. Crew worked on three separate days to complete the job. There was a wrap with Browncoat and the a finish coat done a week later. That is standard. Price was really reasonable. The cost includes the NM tax. A crew of 3 worked on the separate days. I don't think he charged enough, actually. When it was all done it looked better than the original job.

The owners, Bryan and Donna, were very easy to work with. Bryan arrived on schedule, provided an estimate and answered all questions. Although the estimate not quite the lowest, it was good value for the money. The crew(s) that worked on the job were all professional and very conscientious. They patched ALL cracks with fiberglass or metal mesh and broadly covered the patched areas to reduce the potential for future cracking. They placed a broad cap over the parapet walls with mesh and a waterproof patch, They moved furniture, removed light fixtures, tied or trimmed the bushes to provide access. The color coat was applied with a uniformly patterned brocade texture, at our request. The completed job is very attractive and enhances the value of the property. All moved items were returned to their original location and all the trash was carried off. Luis and his workers were excellent to work with and easy to converse with, very friendly and highly bi-lingual. It was a pleasure to work with a company and crews that exuded honesty and integrity. They went the extra mile on all tasks. We would highly recommend this company be considered anyone in need of stucco work.

I love my wall. It's exactly what I wanted. The guys who did the work were friendly and hard working. Because of the unpredictable weather the complete process took awhile but it was completely worth it.
Description of Work: The men dug a trench around the backyard wall. Then put on the chicken wire, etc. Next they squirted on the concrete and smoothed it out. The final layer was a paint-I choose the color. During this process they also put tiles onto the chicken wire so that when the plaster was added the surface was flat.

We decided to have our house completely re-stuccoed as the old surface was falling off at various places. We contacted several contractors, most of whom recommended lathing only those sections of the house where the stucco had fallen off, and applying the stucco directly to the old surface where the stucco was intact. This seemed like a half-way job to me, so I was pleased when Bryan of B. W. Earp recommended putting lath over the entire house and then applying new stucco. What was really good is that his estimate came between those of the others who would not have lathed the entire house. We did have to wait 6 weeks, but he was worth it. He said that it would take 2-3 days to do the lathing and base coat, and it took 3 days as predicted. He said that we had to wait a week before the final coat, and in precisely one week he was back to finish the work. The job was done professionally, by skilled people who intruded minimally on our privacy while performing the work. They trenched around the house, lathed all walls, placed expansion joints between all sections that needed them, and framed all doors and windows with a thin metal border. Both the base and finish coats were evenly applied, with the final coat providing an attractive surface. They cleaned up thoroughly, and filled-in the trench and smoothed the dirt. We can?t recommend B. W. Earp enough. Not only did they do a fabulous job, but their price more than reasonable for the work that was done.

The decorative exterior vigas on our house were a huge maintenance headache & we were quickly losing the battle. We got quotes on removing them & repairing the stucco from a few of the Angie's high ranking stucco contractors & Brian Earp (of BW Earp) impressed us with a competitive bid and a very thorough written quote. His workers did a great job-- everything was done on budget and on schedule, no plants were harmed and the job site was cleaned daily. Equally important, the walls that they repaired look great-- the color and texture match perfectly and there's no sign, bump, shadow or texture variation to indicate that there was ever any vigas there.

Those guys are artists. You think that anybody could put in stucco on the side of the house, but it’s not. I needed to rebuild the top of my parapet walls, which is where the water had the potential of leaking in and they just did a phenomenal job on that. I am extremely happy that I used them.

Mr. Earp showed up on time; in fact, he showed up early because I had written the wrong time on my calendar, so he adjusted his schedule to accommodate my mistake. He supplied an estimate for the stucco work. I also needed interior plaster and drywall services and exterior trim painting. While looking over my job (a complete house remodel) he offered a recommendation for a contractor who could repair and finish the wood floors throughout the house. Mr. Earp supplied a detailed estimate at a reasonable price. I went with another contractor because they were able to supply the extensive interior plaster and drywall services I needed and this work was outside the scope of the services that BW Earp supplied. I would definitely call BW Earp in the future if I required stucco services.

BW Earp was great from start to finish. We called for an estimate - they scheduled that right away, shared lots of information, and provided the estimate on the spot. They were very patient with questions (this was our first stucco job, so we had lots of questions). It took awhile to schedule the stucco work because it was their busy season, but they kept us informed along the way so we were not wondering about it. When the workers came to stucco, they were very polite and did a great job. It was difficult to match color with the existing stucco -- Earp was very patient in trying different color patches and working with us to get the best match. They were very good with follow-up to make sure everything was done to our satisfaction. We would definitely call BW Earp again if we have another stucco job.

Very good! The estimator was prompt and thorough. The work was performed as scheduled. Very pleased with the entire job. Very, very neat. Not a piece of trash left after they were finished. Used lots of plastic and tape to ensure no mud got on bushes, yard, work site, etc. Used a lot of metal edging to ensure straight crisp lines. A little pricey, but I would highly recommend them.

We highly recommend this company for any large or small job. The owner and his wife are lovely, professional people. The different crew involved in this process were careful, respectful of our property and kept things very neat and tidy. The stucco was absolutely beautiful and then they completely picked up all their equipment , filled in the trench around the home, replaced all light fixtures and the job was complete in the time promised. The job was finished within the estimate and time frame quoted.
Description of Work: We had to have a complete stucco job of our home. It was not an easy or uncomplicated job. Our home has 83 windows and they removed the old stucco around each window. The home is large and included long, serpentine yard walls. The existing stucco had to be removed and all new chicken wire was applied. Parapets had to be rebuilt. They dug a trench all around the perimeter of the home. They carefully removed all light fixtures and at the end of the job not a single fixture or light bulb was broken.
