B.W. Earp was recommended to us by a trusted resource in the building/stucco community 3 years ago. After numerous setbacks (on our part) we were finally ready to move forward with a complete restucco on our house. Brian kept in touch regarding schedules and thoroughly answered all questions about colors, process and dealing with issues from the original stucco job. His crew members did a great job building out and finishing the front doorway after we had a new door installed and were cordial and professional when we had questions or concerns. We are very happy with the finished project and have already recommended them to friends.

We got three estimates for a full re-stucco of our 3,000 sq ft 2 story house in Rio Rancho. BW Earp came in the cheapest (by several thousand dollars over two other VERY famous re-stucco businesses. We were a little nervous about such a difference but the owner, Bryan, took a great deal of time to explain the process and what exactly they would do to extend the life of our home and to renew its appearance. Although the work started later than originally estimated the whole house was done in about 9 working days. Costs matched the estimate exactly - no surprises! Crew was professional and cordial. They did a great job protecting everything around the house that wasn't getting stucco'd. Such a very pleasant experience considering what a difficult job it is. The house looks great. I really love the elastomeric stucco that they used and what the finished product looks like.

We needed to replace the original stucco on our 15-yr-old house. Previously, another company had patched some problem areas, but cracks reappeared several months later. Also, they were unable to match the existing color well enough to pass muster with our HOA. Matching was difficult, since each of the 4 walls was a different color after 15 years of varying exposure to the sun. B.W. Earp’s wasn’t the lowest estimate we got, but Bryan seemed to take areas we were concerned about more seriously than other bidders. At the start of work, they opened up problem areas to determine causes and recommend solutions. Randy provided sample color swatches and did a great job matching the existing color to secure HOA approval for the job. Work generally started between 8:30 - 9:00 AM, which suited our schedule & wasn’t too obnoxious for nearby neighbors. Crew was very pleasant & worked efficiently at each stage, removing light fixtures, gutters & downspouts; power washing; setting up scaffolding and masking windows & trim. They always made sure we had access to outside & at least some windows uncovered throughout the work – very considerate. Cleaned up areas daily & restored everything to pre-job condition when completed. Even touched up some painted wood trim that had been nicked (using our left-over paint). We are completely satisfied with the final results. Perfect match of existing color, which had been a concern for assuring HOA approval. Surface texture is applied consistently throughout. And we are confident that previous underlying problem areas have been thoroughly addressed. Our house is now the best-looking one on the block, and we sleep well knowing the exterior will be solid for many years to come.

Great job... no issues, fixed previous issues and gave us the dark color we asked for with no problems, other companies said they could not do the darker color without going to synthetic stucco... but Earp said they could and they came through.

We highly recommend B.W. Earp, Inc. We had them apply exterior insulation around our entire home, do a gray coat with mesh, and stucco. Because of the added 2’’ on the exterior they had the added task of building out the window sills and did a wonderful job. Their overall workmanship was excellent from start to finish. Our home looks Beautiful! They are a very knowledgeable and professional company. Our project was done in a timely manner, no unexpected delays. The crews were very experienced, and they cleaned up every day when they were finished. After the project was complete, a representative came by on numerous occasions to check how well the stucco was curing, and misted the house as needed. It was great working with them. We are very appreciative of the fantastic job they did for us! Thanks to all at B.W. Earp, Inc.!

Fantastic. I believe they are the best company in town to use for stucco work. The work was begun on the date promised, completed very timely, and the work was of superb quality. The workers and owners are all excellent. This project was large in scope and the amount paid was well worth the quality of work.

Bryan, the owner of B.W. Earp, Inc., came and gave me an estimate. They weren’t the least expensive or the most, but it was apparent from the start that they would do a great job and that the parapets would be better than when the house was built! From the moment the crew arrived to start the job, they were always on time and were very professional and courteous! They addressed any concerns I had and took care of my property as if it was their own! The result was a quality job! Yes! I would definitely hire B.W. Earp again! Bryan and his crew did an excellent job!

Great. They work with you and your needs. very flexible. He used a new type of paint and after drying it left a white residue. He researched this with the new manufacturer and came out to fix it. It looks great now. He also came back to repatch around the windows, that didn't take the first time. He guarentees his work and will come back to take care of any issues.

I took 100's of pictures for historic preservation but I couldn't help but notice that some stucco jobs were way better then others. That's how I discovered B.W. Earp, Inc. When they came I found out why they were so good. It's because the cut off the old bull noses and re lap so it is a super clean bull nose up to your windows and doors. They are meticulous on their lase work and taking care of all of the historic features. Both times they sent the same crew leaders. They don't have a big change over its the same really talented guys that come back. I found out that he has a good reputation people really respect him and his work. They went above and beyond to point out anything I didn't know that needed taken care of before I stucco's. I had been rotting near a parapet and stopped work to have that fixed before they continued. The only complaint is that they are really far booked out so you have to get on a wait like. Its not a complaint you can tell why after their done. Their color is very consistent almost synthetic in consistency.

It was $5,000; it might've been more. They tented the house due to the freezing weather. They put heaters around it due to some discoloration. They fog coated of the stucco to make a consistent. I had a historic deadline which is the only reason they did it. They only did it because I had a historic deadline.

Over all the job was handled well and in a tinely manner. The start date was delayed on the day they were suppossed to start. Other than that everything was done very well. The process was explained and the work was performed meeting those explanations. I would recommend b.w. earp and would use them again. Their quote was within $800 of other companies and they were the second lowest.

Brian, the owner, came out personally to give me an estimate, and carefully explained various approaches for repairing the 33 year old stucco on my home. His proposal entailed more work, yet his estimate was better than others who were going to do the same (or less!) As a result of the information he shared, I was able to ask better questions with subsequent companies who came out to bid on my project. His crew was careful and thorough. They set up safe scaffolding around my home, which is situated on a bluff, and kept all the landscaping and decking clean. I am absolutely thrilled with the results, and neighbors are already asking me who did the work on my home. These guys are great!

The job went extremely well. I interviewed the top three stucco companies listed in Angie's list. B.W. Earp, Inc. was competitive in the price (within a $100 of the lowest bid) and impressed us about his knowledge of how best to handle some of the problems we had with the original stucco on the house. They also repaired a number of problems caused by water wicking as part of the job. They worked with us on our somewhat complex schedule. Run by a gentleman named Luis, the crew as highly professional, hard working and a pleasure to work with.

B.W. Earp came out to my home and gave me an estimate for the stucco work and details of how his men would deal with newly installed windows that had frames that stuck out from the original stucco job. I had talked to other stucco folks but I liked the method described by Earp and hired his company to do the work. It took about two weeks but I am happy with the work and his employees always kept me in the loop with what they were doing and when they were leaving. I had no issues or problems with the job.

Awesome! Work performed was exceptional, the crew was very professional, hard-working and courteous. A structural problem with one of our glass block window frames was discovered during the preparation process and the owner, Brian Earp, responded immediately to resolve the issue. The foreman, Luis, kept us informed every step of the way. The workers were dedicated to cleaning up on a daily basis and the final clean-up was more than satisfactory. We are delighted with the final product and highly recommend the company.

I used Brian once before and this influenced my decision to use him again. This was a much bigger job than the first job and I obtained estimates from 3 other contractors. I am sure that the others would have done a good job, and their bids all were within about $2,000 of each other (Brian's was not the low bid.) The job took the better part of 3 weeks. His crew, lead by Luis, was friendly, polite and obviously knew what they were doing. The prep work before the stuccoing was well done, and every exposed part of the house and yard that may have been "dirtied" during the stuccoing was thoroughly covered. Their clean up after the job left nothing for us to do. I went with someone I knew, and I am glad I did so. A job extremely well done.

Only estimate which I could not get from them.
Description of Work: Bryan Earp came by to give me an estimate. I probably misplaced it and have called them multiple times to get a copy of it or to give me an estimate. It has been two months now and they do not respond in spite of the fact that I asked them if they are still interested and was told they were. Given their lack of responsiveness I would not recommend them for any work. I have just wasted time trying to get the estimate and that does not speak well of what they would do if they actually were to do the job.

Dear [Member Name Removed], I am sorry you feel this way. We always give a written estimate when we first meet a client, I'm sorry you misplaced it. I show that you received yours on 4/22/15. Our standard estimate covers a check list of standard items performed before, during and after stucco. I believe what you were waiting for was a detailed description of how we would handle your mold issues, listing of tying back your bushes and plants, removing and replacing shutters etc. We do try to go the extra mile for our potential customers and maybe we are just not a good match for each other. We hope your project goes well.

We elected to go with a "cadillac" approach to repair the sub-par 12 year old original stucco job. We obtained three bids, one a low ball bid by someone we didn't think was capable of doing the job and another that was significantly higher (we guessed he didn't want the job). We selected BW Earp based on Brian's understanding of the approach we wanted taken and also because his crew are employees, not contractors. This meant to us that Brian had greater control over the quality of the work that would be done. The job took seven days and there were anywhere from 5 to 12 men a day. Our estimate is the job took over 375 man hours. We have extensive gardens and the crew was very careful with the plantings. The crew was timely, thorough and meticulous in their attention to detail. Two months later, we have not found anywhere on the house or walls that they did not do a first rate job.

after getting a couple of estimates , (all rated super services by Angies list ) I decided to hire BW Earp since they where the only one who mention my options to get a smooth seal around my new windows , sure, with additional cost, but well worth it since I'm planning to keep that house for a long time and like well done work.. The scheduling and execution of the work was done professionally with the best textured finish I have seen on a house. 'The only recommendation I could make to them is to put a little more emphasis on protection the small plants around the walls when applying the stucco.

Got three bids. BW Earp was the highest by about $2500. All bidders were from Angie's List and offered an Angie's List discount. I selected Earp because Brian seemed the most knowledgeable about the stone trim I wanted and how to do it. He also asked me to check to see if the work he needed to do on the paraprets would effect the membrane roof guarantee, something the other bidders did not mention (it did not). And he had a plan for carefully handling a long seamless gutter. The job was completed in a timely way. When the stucco dried, several places around the house were a noticeably different color, and there were white spots showing through in some places. Since I had paid in full upon completion and before the stucco dried, I was worried sick about getting the job finished properly. Dealing with the lead guy on the crew about these items was not effective; speaking directly with Brian was. To fix the color problem, Brian had the crew spray a paint-like product on all of the stucco. This amounted to a day's extra work and fixed it. I am very happy. If I were to do it over, I would still select Earp; I would use synthetic stucco and not traditional stucco and avoid the color problem. I would get greater detail on the bid sheet, such as a listing of all areas where stone was to be installed. One small area was omitted, likely my fault. Brian agreed to do this area and just charge me his cost. I would not measure the stone area myself as I was very lucky to have enough stone; there was none left over. When the final invoice came, the stone labor charge for the small omitted area was not on it. I called Brian and asked about it; he said not to worry, he would cover it. Also, the 5% Angie's list discount was to be on the final invoice. It was not, but since Brian was so nice about stone issue I let go and didn't say anything.

There were problems with leeching of a white substance where the ground and roof seeped water. Bryan consulted with us about adding a gutter and downspouts to prevent further water damage. Then the crew continued coming back to clean off the white substance, "fog" the wall, and wet it down. The result is great! They did a wonderful job and I highly recommend them. In fact, I have referred neighbors to them already.

Our pueblo style house had two stucco covered walls, front and back, that were shedding their stucco. The Earp crew completely scraped off all the old stucco and repaired wall and resurfaced the walls. He matched the color of our house exactly. He came to give the bid in a timely matter and was very professional. I had recieved two other bids from well known stucco companies that were $1000 higher and the owner/bidders were not nearly as professional in their manner and process of measuring. The workers did a great job, were neat and cleaned up and did not have to trim as many plantings as the other companies said had to be trimmed or removed. I highly recommend BW Earp on their stucco work.
