I called Bill's Lock and Key and from the first conversation I was struck with how cordial and efficient they are. The dispatcher said they could come out the next day, but I wanted to schedule them the following weeks for my tenants. They arrived on time, called me with all the information, performed the work in a timely and efficient manner, and charged what I felt was a very reasonable fee for keying four locks. I will certainly call them in the future when I need a locksmith.

Amazing! Best encounter I have had so far here in New Mexico. He came on time, was polite and hardworking. He found that one of my doors was broken and repaired it at no cost. He Re-Keyed what he could and then told me how some of the locks were of a different make and that he could simply give me two separate keys or he would have to charge me to put in new hardware. I had him put in the new hardware, but he spent extra time picking locks to save me money and not have to purchase the more expensive brand. I also asked him to charge me for a small other project, I had a lock with no key that I wanted opened. He picked it for free. Overall great experience, price was fair and well explained. Would use them again.

The technician arrived on time for the appointment and was very professional and courteous. He examined the lock and told me that it could not be repaired by a locksmith, but would have to be repaired by the company who installed the door. (I later discovered that I have to contact the manufacturer of the door to get it repaired.) The technician was very apologetic that he could not repair the door lock and did not charge me anything for the home repair visit. I thought that not charging me demonstrated outstanding customer service, since he had every right to charge for coming out to my home. I will not hesitate to use this company next time I need a locksmith.

If ever a person earned a perfect score, it has to be Bill from Bill's Lock and Key, Inc. Bill is a professional in every sense of the word, he is extremely efficient and a most personable individual. My ONLY complaint -- I wanted to pay him for his trouble to come out and work on the lock and he wouldn't take the money. What an individual! If only this world had more folks that understood Customer Service. I will continue to use his services and continue to extoll his praises. Heights Key and Lock can go to ----. I was their customer for at least 25-years and I assure you they'll NEVER ever see me again.

Bill’s Lock & Key Inc are very reliable and prompt. They do excellent work. They will actually try and save you money. If you call them to change locks they will check them first to see if they can be rekeyed.

I was so impressed with the staff at Bill's. Re-keying the firebox should have been a simple thing, but it turned out to be a lot harder than expected. The staff could have very reasonably and understandably told me to chuck the firebox and go get another. Instead, they would not give up and worked on the problem until it was fixed. This involved four different techs, a couple of different keys, and lots of effort. The joke was that perfectionism is something you want in a locksmith, and boy did it pay off for me. I walked out with a working key, very happy. Saved me a trip to a store to get another firebox. Highly recommend.

Repairman arrived early, which was great. He immediately went to work. Very professional. Cost was what I expected, no surprises. Very much worth the price. I had eight locks re-keyed (four doors with two locks each).

The locksmith was prompt, courteous and professional. He identified the issue, explained what the problem was and what caused it, and fixed it. He also told me how to avoid recurrences. I could not be more pleased with the service.

Rolf the locksmith arrived on time and was courteous and professional. He knew what he was doing and replaced the entryway lock that was broken quickly and efficiently. The brand/company of locks we had on our doors had gone out of business, but they managed to locate one to match the top deadbolt and rekeyed the new one to fit the original key. A job well done!

Came home and broke key in "stiff" lock. Checked Angie's list and called first company that quoted the estimate twice the price from Bill's. Rolf (technician) came right over (20-25 minutes). Removed the deadbolt and replaced it, made two keys and replaced a missing strike plate that needed some fine tuning. Evaluated the bottom knob which had been "malfunctioning" for some time and fixed what needed including a strike plate and didn't push to replace it. Very honest, thorough and technically fantastic. Very fair cost for emergency/after hours service. Respectful and interactive with our dogs. Whole job was about 40 minutes and to have a brand new door system without hassle and at a fair price on a Friday night was great. [Cost: Parts 50, Labor 40, Night service call 45].

I called and asked for an estimate to get a lock installed on my sliding glass door. I also asked to have my door handle lock reversed because the previous locksmith I had used installed it upside down. The lady who answered asked me what kind of door I had, and gave me different quotes for different types of doors. She said if I had a vinyl door that most locks would not be very effective. I didn't know what type door I had. When the gentleman came out to install my door, he told me that I did have a vinyl door. He told me that a wooden dowel would be the best thing for me. I then asked him if he would take care of reversing the door handle lock. He flipped the lock and didn't charge me for the call. He was very friendly, informative and professional. He treated me like a person instead of a dollar sign. I would definitely use Bill's Lock and Key again.

THE MAN SHOWED UP ON TIME TO REKEY MY DOORS PER MY INSTRUCTIONS...MADE EXTRA KEYS AND REPAIRED ONE DEADBOLT THAT WASN'T WORKING PROPERLY...TOOK ABOUT AN HOUR AND 15 MINUTES FROM START TO FINISH...

The locksmith arrived within the timeframe I was given. Hedge scribed the type of locks we had , identified the work and completed it within an hour. He explained all that he had done and talked to me about the features of the locks we have and other makes of locks.

They figured up the charge for after-hours lockout assistance and 2 new locks, and it was about $250. They weren't trying to get the sale, they were just trying to be helpful. They gave good advice and were very professional.

It was effortless! Easy to schedule an appointment, they were very clear and upfront about the cost, the locksmith came on time, worked quickly, explained what he was doing, and was friendly and professional. I would highly recommend them.

I called Bill's Lock & Key to see if I could get locks changed on my house. They were able to come out the next day but it did not fit into my schedule. They came on Monday. They arrived early something that never happens. Rolf changed the locks and even saved us money. Again something that never happens. Rolf was very professional. If I need any lock or key work they will be the first ones that I call. Great job.

We'd mistakenly locked the filing cabinet and didn't have a key. bill opened the lock and re keyed it. We also had him re key a door lock.

I went to the shop for an estimate and brought pictures of the locks at the house. i got an estimate and the locksmith explained what they would do and how they could make the locks stronger or more resistant to picking. I scheduled an appointment- missed the first one b/c I got the time wrong and rescheduled. Locksmith called when leaving previous job for my house. Then the company called because the locksmith was in a minor accident. They sent another person out. We looked at all the locks, he explained what he would do, and did the work. He also installed strike plates on a couple of doors that did not have them. After the locks were installed, we went through lock by lock trying out the keys. Everything worked great- the old keys/locks were a little finicky; the new ones were smooth and easy to lock and unlock. Locksmith advised about watching out for lock lubricant for a while. Great work!

The technician was on time. He examined the door and told me it wasn't my locks but the door itself which has shifted so that it is out of alignment. Because of that, it is sometimes impossible to open. He also took the lock apart and cleaned and lubricated it. I can now open my door!

They are prompt and always on time. The price may be a little higher, but they are very good at their job.

I wanted locks rekeyed and one repaired that wasn't working smoothly. Frank was fabulous. First, I received a quick response to my call for service. When Frank arrived, he did an assessment of all of the locks in my house to determine what needed work. He explained benefits of certain locks and replaced one lock that was not working properly. He dismantled and lubricated another that was sticking, and rekeyed all locks. I received personal attention, courteous service, and expert work. Would gladly call Bill's again when I need lock service.

They are really professional. They have all sorts of keys and a big staff. I have been there a couple of time to buy locks and other things. For example : when I asked if they could open it, they told me that if they open it, it will cost me so much and the lock isn’t even worth so much, so it is better to buy a new lock. They didn’t try to push anything onto me.
