+ -1 moreI bought their "Big Deal" package through Angie's List. Within 24 hours, the company called to schedule an appointment. On the day of the service appointment, the technician was running about 10 minutes late, but I got a call from the company letting me know. Once he arrived, the technician set to work immediately in a professional, workmanlike manner. He seemed to be very knowledgeable and experienced. After he finished, he went over the work that he performed and made sure that I was satisfied with the service.
Description of Work: Adjusted sensitivity of garage door operator, replaced and lubricated rollers.

+ -1 moreI bought a $99 special for garage door maintenance featured on Angie's list and I was able to have the job scheduled within 2 business days. The office called to let me know he was running a little late, which I appreciated, and he arrived shortly thereafter. He did maintenance on the overhead door and found the reason it wouldn't come all the way down - the landscapers had placed a clip for the new irrigation system just where the door should come down. He relocated the clip and everything works fine. He was very professional and courteous.

He arrived within one hour of the originally scheduled time and performed the work promptly and efficiently. He was very professional and courteous. The service significantly reduced the noise we were experiencing (squeaks & squeals), so we are very satisfied.

+ -1 moreThat went well. It was great. The person was very punctual. I had to leave and we took care of the whole transaction prior to leaving and then my mom was still here and so then he just let her know when he was completed. It was just very easy and straight forward.
Description of Work: I have been using a Big Deal for BDC Door. They replaced the rollers and they serviced the door opener, and extended one of the receiving wiring so that I could open the door easier from a greater distance.

Description of Work: This cost was for a new garage door opener & left & right rollers for the actual garage door . This included all labor ,taking all old pieces,box,adjusting the door balance, etc.. This included an outside entrance box,etc. It was done very well. The gentleman was very knowledgeable. He made sure I knew how to operate both indoor & outdoor uses. A few wks. later I was cleaning my garage & bumped something down by the laser probe caused a problem of opening & closing. I called they promptly came out ,adjusted it & charged nothing. They had done work for me before. I had called a couple of other for cost on a new opener & the price was no better & I knew this company was honest, dependable, prompt & fair. I would highly recommend. Whenever I have a garage door problem I will definitely call them.

The first guy came out and realized that we had an older system than he had thought, did what he could and had another guy come out and replace the parts. They came out and took care of everything the way it should be. They were both very professional. We felt the price was good enough. It came out a lot better than we expected. I would use them again.

+ -1 moreCables were off one garage door; replaced cables, drums and shaft. Also lubricated/tune up single and double garage door. BDC Door Co. had an Angie's list deal for $99. to replace rollers, which I didn't need (13 year old house). However, they were highly recommended by members, so decided to use them for needed repair. Shaft was modified to fit my door, which may have cost me more, but I was going on vacation and needed to get it done. Appointment was scheduled quickly, Tony arrived early and was professional and worked efficiently. Garage doors now sound like expensive doors, and it is fun to hear them open and close. Thanks Tony!

The tech was so honest and told me that the door needed a much less expensive lube service. I bought the lube service and another more reliable garage door opener. + -1 moreReprogrammed the remote controllers and replaced the worn gear and sprocket assembly on my Craftsman garage door opener. Tony came out within an hour after I called. Service was prompt and professional. It took him an hour to do the work. He did a good job and explained what he was doing.
Description of Work: I called BDC because my 11-year old Craftsman garage door opener wasn't responding to any of my 3 remote controllers. This happened unexplainably and suddenly one day. Tony reprogrammed the remotes and they worked. (I had been following the wrong procedure(!) when I tried reprogramming them myself.) This took about 5 minutes. He then showed me that the gear and sprocket assembly in the opener was warn and needed replacing. I could see the powder from the warn bearing. He replaced the sprocket assembly. He adjusted the spring tension on the door spring. He noted that one of the rails was not quite aligned, so he remounted one of the support brackets. The charge was $74 for the service call which included 1 hour labor plus $50 for the part. I think the costs were reasonable.
