No frills, no fuss, which is how I appreciate the business of maintaining my home be conducted. Wish a chimney cap would've been a purchase option as it was a recommendation for a likely solution to my back draft problems. Amrak came out when I bought an Angie's List coupon for a chimney sweep. They were punctual, laid down a cloth to catch any debris, and cleaned up nicely after they were done. It only took a short time. They said the chimney wasn't too bad and was easy to clean. They also gave me some great tips on how to keep it clean. I will be using them again next season. Very pleased with their service.

He cleaned the fireplace and the chimney. We had a cap for the top of the chimney he also put it on for us. In fact the cap has stayed on through the 60 mile an hour winds we had in Albuquerque. If we have any problems, we will call him.

Inspected all 4 of our chimneys and found them in good shape. We thought we had a major issue with two of them that back to each other, but Chris Mayo put us at ease that is was just the fact that one flue was open when the other one was in use. I knew we were working with a very honest and competent person who was not there to "create" work, but simply to provide good service to his clients. The owner responded promptly after I purchased the 'deal', and set a date for service within a few days. He was prompt, courteous, and very knowledgeable. He inspected our chimney very thoroughly, and pointed out a couple of things that needed to be fixed (that we could easily do ourselves) and told us the chimney was clean. He thought the seller of the house had probably had it cleaned before we bought the house. So, since the chimney didn't need cleaning, he gave us a refund! Nice to find a thoroughly honest tradesman. Chris showed up on time and was very courteous and friendly. I had a wood burning stove installed 11 years ago and I wanted an inspection to make sure everything still looked ok and check for any safety issues. He looked over every one of my concerns without complaint. I now feel confident that my stove will work safely and efficiently for another season. I will definitely call him again!

Chris arrived exactly on time and taped around fireplace window to prevent soot from coming into living room. Then he went onto roof and cleaned from chimney cap down. Then he swept and vacuumed all the ash from the fireplace chamber. Everything went very efficiently and cleanly. He also gave us advice on the types of wood to burn.

I first called Chris to set up an appointment and he was a very friendly gentleman. Our back panel in the fire had basically crumbled away and we had the replacement panel we needed installed. We also need the chimney cleaned. He came and installed the panel and cleaned he chimney and corresponding parts. Chris worked fast and got our fireplace all ready and safe to use.

Chris was extremely professional and helpful. He caulked some cracks on the inside of the fireplace and included it in our initial price. A contractor told us our chimney would cost $2000 to fix and Chris took care of the problem right after inspection. His honesty and expertise saved us a huge amount of money. We'll definitely call him again for any fireplace/chimney issues.

Chris solved a problem that another company charged $100 and basically said, "Yes, your fireplace doesn't draw properly and we don't know why, maybe you need to tear it out and replace it with a wood burning stove". Chris was wonderful. He solved the problem right away and didn't charge anything until he came back with the parts to fix it. He also said the fireplace did not need cleaning. The other company wanted to charge me extra for an unneeded cleaning.

When he found it didn't need cleaning he refunded us $20 off the Angie's special price. Very satisfied and highly recommend.

Chris arrived on the dot, introduced himself and got right to work. He came in the house, covered the fireplace opening with a tight plastic so that none of the ashes spilled on to the hearth. He then went outside cleaned and inspected the chimney. He entered the house, removed the plastic and thoroughly cleaned and inspected the fireplace. He opened and checked the damper to see if it was properly working. When he finished, he picked up his things and handed us a detailed fireplace condition report.
