Chris Mayo came out and did a chimney sweep for us. He did a good job on that and the price was better than his competitors. But that is really all he did. When I called him to set up the appointment I told him my fireplace hasn't worked for a while and asked if he did maintenance. He said he did and that he would do whatever work was necessary. When he got to my house my husband was home and let him in to do the work. There was a piece of metal flashing laying beside the fireplace that needed to be installed, but my husband didn't remember to ask him to install it, and even though it was plainly obvious that it was a piece of the fireplace Chris didn't say anything about it. He did the chimney sweep and left. Maybe my communication to him could have been more clear, but even if it wasn't, as a professional I would expect Chris to ask more questions to see what else needed to be done.

It went very well and he arrived on time and cleaned up everything once he was completed.

He was here on time... worked quickly and seemed thorough..(I didn't get into the chimney) (Next time I would ask that ashes be put into bag before put in trash can as our waste company will not allow unbagged "stuff" to be picked up and it was messy for me to get ashes into plastic bags.) I WOULD have him work for me again and plan to do so.

Chris received the call immediately and booked the appointment to inspect and clean the chimney. He arrived right on time, was friendly and professional, and very efficient. He did an inspection of the chimney and damper from inside and outside on the roof. After determining the chimney was actually clean, he did a quick cleaning of the light soot inside the fireplace and only charged for the inspection, not the cleaning. I will be a repeat customer.

We have a wood stove and we burn a lot of wood in the winter. When the service person came out he put a tarp on the tile and took something out of the top of the stove that would allow the ashes and stuff to come down from the exhaust chimney. Then he got on the roof and did the sweeping with this wire brush with a long handle that they use kind of like a pipe cleaner. All the suit and creosote pieces came down into the stove. Then he vacuumed out the wood stove with a special vacuum that doesn't get dust all over the house. He said I could probably wait three years before I called him back. He was straight forward and up front with me and he was neat and offered suggestions on how to keep the chimney clean, which I appreciated. I thought his pricing was good and he did a thorough job. He was pleasant to deal with and we will use him again in the future.

A 5 star company. I called Chris to inspect and service my fireplaces. He was prompt and extremely professional with his assessment of my chimney and fireplace. After reviewing his report on the fireplace's condition, I feel very comfortable about using them this year . I would most cerainly call him again and highly recommend his service.

He came on time, worked quickly, and did a great job. Furthermore, he was very honest and told me that his price was cheaper than what had been advertised. We appreciated that he didn't charge extra for driving to our home which is in the mountains as well.

It was fabulous. We were very fortunately we live in a 10 year old house. The fireplace didn’t require much work but he was great. The experience was very good.

Chris was very professional and courteous by phone; it was easy to find a time and schedule an appointment. He was prompt (actually, arrived early -- we saw him drive by as if checking the address -- then drove around and came back right on time), clean, and efficient. Gave good advice (i.e., chimney should be 'swept' every 3 cords of wood burned, which for us is about every 5-6 years). Also gave money saving advice on how to minimize build up. Friendly, easy-going and comfortable to be around and have in your home.
