Action Security Iron took our wrought iron security bars and gates to be recoated. When the wrought iron was returned, there were several spots that were completely missed and several spots where the coating had been scratched off in transit. The guy dropping the wrought iron off was in such a hurry to leave that he was fairly rude. Action Security Iron lost several parts of our wrought iron, including the deadbolt lock from the front gate, both of the front gate strike plates, and the bolts that were with the iron. After several weeks, one strike plate and some bolts were found. The deadbolt lock and another strike plate are still missing after four months. I had to touch up the scratched places and the places that were completely missing paint, buy a new deadbolt lock, and engineer a new strike plate to replace the missing one. The representative from Action Security Iron was hard to contact and I had to repeat several times what was still missing. First he said he found everything, then he only found a few things, then he only found two things. I will never deal with this company again.

My husband and I first started off at the showroom where the quality to big stores doors doesn't even compare. We thought might as well get a quote. Scott came by the house and showed us several options and guided us to what two type of doors looked well with one another. Within 2 weeks we had our doors installed by Dale ( another brother of the trio) and they looked amazing. Our front door sticks out from the rest of the neighborhood, not only because of the design but the beautiful custom color we chose. The back two doors flow well with the front design. If you want security but don't want to feel like you live in a jail, these are the doors you want.

Action Security Iron returned my phone call immediately, scheduled an appointment, and came out and gave me a bid. They made and installed 2 security doors, window guards for all the windows in my home, and a front entry enclosure. They all were done in their Classic 6 design with a beautiful copper vein, powder coat finish. Their work is superior, and I am so pleased with the finished product. The crew was prompt, friendly, neat, and very professional. I highly recommend them, and would definitely use them again.

The two problems I had were solved immediately after I called. First the weather stripping came off the door. I think the glue heated up from the sun beating down on the door. The replaced it. Second, the latch on the gate became loose. Fixed that too. Now I don't have any problems. Just great looking gates and door.

Action Iron was very timely starting with their initial visit to the actual installation. The design they proposed was very thoughtful, and fit our home very nicely. The initial installation went very smoothly. Their installers cleaned up after themselves and left us with a very nice usable set of security gates at our front door. But....the fixed side of the iron work was a different height than the gate side. I called Action about this issue. The problem was handled quickly and professionally. The fixed side iron was removed, cut and replaced within two days. Action Security Iron is a great company that I would not hesitate to recommend or use again.

I CANNOT say enough about this company! By far the best prices in New Mexico [seriously, at least 3 grand less than their competitors] The job they did was SO beautiful and their artwork with their welding was just nuts! We are SO happy with these guys (And Jessie at the front desk! What a doll!) Go through anyone else and I seriously think you'll regret that decision. Perfection is what we received! So perfect, so professional, excellent prices and we received more than what we paid for! Update: We just had these guys back out to place an additional security gate on the inside entry door of our garage. [Since a neighbor boy pointed out that, "Bars on all of your windows or not, I could simply back into your garage door with my vehicle and enter your home through that unsecured door] Anyway, this company came back out and promptly installed the gate. Their service, their quality, their prices, their loyalty, their professionalism and their designs are all stellar! I cannot count how many of my neighbors who have stopped by and asked, "Who exactly did your work!"

Ryan and Scott are great!!! This company is very professional and strive to please the customer!!! I had them out out to give me a qoute on a court yard gate. They arrived on time and worked with us until we had a plan in mind and sent us drawings and told us we could tweak it until we had the perfect gate. I highly recommend this company to anyone who is looking for someone that is going to provide a service and do the job right the first time.... these guys are great at what they do!!!! I will be using them again for my next gate project!! There are to many BAD companys out there, that is why when I find a good one I like to spread the word to everyone!!!

We received several quotes for a new balcony railing to be made and installed. Action Security was extremely competitively priced, and they only provide powder-coated products, something others wanted an additional $400+ to do. The railing is beautiful, and the guys did a great job installing it. Everyone comments on how nice the railing is, and how our home looks even better now.

Prompt and professional service

The crew arrived for the estimate and installation appointments on time. The designer provided many options that would satisfy any need. We chose to have a pattern in our leaded glass entry windows duplicated in iron. The result is spectacular. We did have one minor complaint -- the initial installation did not line up perfectly with the existing entry way structure and we were concerned that small critters might get through the gap. When we explained our concern they were back within days to reset the iron to eliminate the gap. The whole operation was handled in a very professional manner. We would definitely us them again.

They were on time for my free estimate. Everything was done exactly the way I wanted. Everyone was curtious and professional from the receptionist to the guys who came out and did the installation. The job went as planned and on time. I would certainly recommend them to a friend.

We wanted a door we could leave open on hot summer nights for air flow instead of using the cooler 24-7 and to keep out mosquitoes from nearby creek - and still feel secure. What we got was a beautiful, fun, stylish door that is totally functional. It fits snugly on our older house, has weather-stripping and easy to switch screen and glass panels according to the season. The only snags were 1) the paint needed a a minor touchup - a 2nd visit (no hassle), 2) the hydraulic needed larger screws to keep it secure - a 3rd visit (also no hassle). Service visits went smoothly and neatly. Six months later, now in Winter, we're feeling safer at home with warm sunshine coming in and without looking like a prison.

My experience with this company was great and I would highly recommend them. They showed up at my house right on time (wow, this is Albuquerue, people rarely even show up!) to look at the doorway, the style of the house, and the colors. They did all the measurements and also brought sample colors so we could hold them up against the house. I was very happy that they were willing to give me advice on colors, since this is not my strong point. They left me a brouchure with style options, but I wound up going down to the store to see some samples in person. They spent a long time with me at the store as I was trying to decide. They had a book of pictures of all kinds of doors they had done, and I decided that I would do a custom one similar one I saw in the book. It was more money, but I think it was worth it for a unique look. The installation went well, and I have not had any problems. No regrets on spending the extra for the custom look.

The whole process from start to finish was good, First the measuring and picking out the type and finish or color of the doors, then the style, and any accessories.One tip, a person can get carried a way with every thing that this company can do with style and design. They told us if you can think or dream a design they can produce it, for a cost! You have to be careful if you are on a budget.

The gates are gorgeous, heavy duty iron with beautiful powder coating. The estimator was very professional and courteous as were the installers. Installation went quickly and the installers dealt with a couple of glitches effectively and with a pleasant attitude. They cleaned up thoroughly and made sure I was happy with the results. They were very attentive to detail. Excellent fit and finish of gates and installation experience.

The two installers, Gabriel and Joe, did an excellent job installing the wrought iron gate with deadbolt lock and door handle and the wrought iron window grates on the two large bedroom windows. They worked very hard and were very helpful and courteous. Gabriel was patient in explaining to me how the window grates worked and got them just the right pressure so it would be easy for me to open them in an emergency. I am very pleased with the outcome. The gate and window grates look really nice, and they add to my comfort and security when I'm in the house.

They showed up early for the estimate appointment, took our requirements, made suggestions - then, delivered when promised and did an excellent job. We are already planning for their next job - probably next Spring.

Ryan came on time and gave me an estimate based on the design that I chose and the customizing of the features to match my existing gate and fences. I was given the Angies List current discount for installation costs and agreed to the work. The installers came two weeks later to bring my door and install it. One of the parts hadn't arrived but they came back three days later to install it. I am happy with my new door. It has pulled together the design elements of my house.
