Their communication was excellent. Offered service over the weekend for a surcharge but since it wasn't an emergency, we waited and took their first available. The technician called and even arranged an earlier time. He got the job done in an hour and did great work. He was friendly and professional. Would recommend.

Needed garage tune-up to quiet a noisy overhead garage door. In the past we had used another Angies company, and with very good results, but ABC was the least expensive service advertised through Angies List. Repairman arrived early, but called ahead to verify that it was o.k.. The inspection and "repair" (lubricated rolling bearings etc.) took less than 10 minutes. I felt that, based on experiences with other service providers, more could have been done to reduce the noise...it's really loud. I might go ahead and call another provider, just to make sure. I gave a "D" for quality, meaning that I felt that the order deserved a more thorough review and door adjustment. The repairman said it did not need any more adjustment, but in the past, when the door became this noisy, the repairman would spend at least 45 minutes with the project. I mentioned this to the repairman and he said "he did everything he was supposed to do". I could be wrong, and that this was the most that could be done to my door, but based on several previous annual 'tune-ups', more had been done.

It went pretty well I would give them a B+. They were here right away.

They do specialized colors if I want it. I was impressed because, they called me back right away. It includes installation and would include extra windows in the door for an extra $300 or $400. They are insulated.

Supplied Raynor doors were excellent quality and the Liftmaster openers. Excellent timely responses to my questions. I asked from quality doors and I received them. There was no hard sales tactics. I knew what I wanted and agreed to pay the price. Installation was good. The services performed on time and installer was careful. He hauled away the old doors and hardware. Only negative was a small dent on one of the lower panels that I did not notice until a couple of months after the installation was complete. I decided not to follow up, it is really hard to notice. I would highly recommend this company!

When Tech came, he did the service as advertised. I did have to remind to check and adjust Garage door. He said it was done. Home inspector came out to check and could not duplicate and adjusted the door himself.

I am amazed at how a professional company that specializes in garage doors would overlook such a simple fix, especially after pre paying online. The tone of the "salesman" was exactly that...to sell us an entirely new unit unnecessarily. I made the mistake by prepaying through Angie's list, which I would advise against. Also, move on to the next garage door company. My mistake was not troubleshooting it myself sooner, but I expected a professional would at least do that. Apparently not.

It was great, they did a great job and I would definitely use them again.

I called ABC Door Co on Monday, 3/23/15, because the intermittent problems I was having with my garage door opener became permanent and would only open electronically and only close manually. ABC said they could accomodate my schedule and send a representative/technician to my home on the afternoon of 3/25/15. They gave me a time window and and at the beginning of that window Mr Tim Harvey arrived. We went immediately to the garage and he checked all external parts of door/ tracks/optical devices and opener control unit. He explained that replacement parts, for my vintage screw drive opener, were no longer available and the problem seemed to be with the mother board. I suspected as much and asked for replacement options and prices. After some discussion I decided on a specific replacement and asked when he could install it. He said that he had the unit and necessary materials with him and could install it immediately. It would take one and a half to two hours to complete. He completed the job in exactly two hours, cleaned up all materials and gave me a thorough training session on all the features of the new unit. He did his work in a neat and orderly fashion and explained everything he was doing so that I understood. I was pleased with the company, their representative, their product and the installation process. I would business with them again in a heart beat.

There was not alot they could do but lubricate all the moving parts really well. He explained alot about the different parts and when I described the problem explained why and what we would need to have replaced. Since their tune-up the garage door has not got stuck like it was before, and we have good estimate on replacing springs if we decide to in the future.

Great service and very knowledgeable

The installer was on-time, but there was a misunderstanding of the installation. He had to return to the office to pick up missing parts. He returned promptly and began the install. He removed the old garage door, and installed the new door. My 8 year old son was very interested so Jonathan (the installer) was very kind in explaining what he was doing and what tools he used. He was very professional and cleaned up as we went along the job. When he left the garage had no debris. Jonathan was very friendly and professional. Timothy was the estimator, he came out and gave practical advice and offered several suggestions. There was no pressure to go with the most expensive or additional options. IN fact we wanted the windows on top, but didn't have enough money for them. Timothy said we can swap out the top section and install windows at any time later and it is the same price if we bought it at the same time. Thanks to Jonathan & Timothy for great service!!

Solar-powered gate was installed about two years ago. This included a wireless sensor to open gate when leaving property. The unit worked well for a year or so, then sporadically it would fail to open. Hand-held remotes worked fine, but buried sensor didn't. After having at least three service calls (two of which I paid for), and having them re-install the unit, and then a different wireless unit, it would never work for more than a few days. After the provider consulted with the manufacturer's technical service department, the provide decided the only reasonable option was to install a wired unit. They did on 12/10/14 and it's been working fine since then. The technician, Greg, was professional, punctual, friendly, and thorough. He said I wasn't the only person to have this problem, which could be anything from radio interference (there are cell towers close) to just having gotten a couple of bad units. The provider did not charge me for the two last service calls or the wired sensor.

Installation went as scheduled. On time arrival and work completed in a timely manner. However, the installation of the Safety Reversal System was not correct. A few days after the initial installation the garage door would not close and took several tries to get the door to remain closed. A call to the provider resulted in another techniciian come to the house and correcting Safety Reversal System installation. The door has worked properly since then.

It went terrible! I needed a new weather-strip at the bottom of my 16 foot Overhead garage door. The original was too short by about 4", so leaves and debris from adjacent trees were coming inside the garage at both ends of the door. I made an appointment for a 1:30PM to 3:30PM service window on Tuesday 12/02/12. No one showed up for that appointment. I called after 3:30 and was told that the technician was running behind schedule due to a difficult installation job. The receptionist acknowledged she should have called the customers scheduled that day to advise of the delay and reschedule as needed. The appointment was then rescheduled for the following week but an earlier appointment became available on Friday 12/05/14. On Friday the technician arrived on time, but said he could not replace the weather-strip as the part that he had would not fit an Overhead door due to the tapered bottom edge. I could have told the receptionist what type of door it was when the appointment was made, but she only asked the size and not the brand. The technician explained that it was a new receptionist. He called his office, explained the problem and rescheduled the appointment for another technician to come back on Monday 12/08/14. On Monday 12/08/14 the second technician arrived on time but also did not have the correct part. His work order showed it was an overhead door (as a door type) and not an Overhead door (as the brand). He offered to contact Overhead door to try to obtain the correct part and come back at another time, but I opted to deal directly with Overhead Door instead. After 3 strikes, ABC Door was out!

Excellent job. I was hesitant about paying for a service that was not yet performed. Thanks to Angie's list, everything went as scheduled and as promised. I won't hesitate to do tnis again

ABC Doors provides good service to Los Alamos area. One of the cables of my garage door jumped. They fixed it for under $100. The repairman was courteous and professional. Although ABC Doors is based in Albuquerque, unlike some other company in Santa Fe, they do not impose trip charges and they also charge less for the service. If you don't mind waiting for a while for the appointment, 6 days in my case, I would certainly recommend ABC Doors.

As I requested, Greg H. called me ahead of time to let me know that he was near my house. This allowed me to be at work instead of waiting at home. He was there when I arrived. He inspected the door that was inoperable and quickly discovered the problem. He asked if I'd like him to inspect both garage doors, which I gladly agreed to. Less than 45 minutes later, the door was fixed and working great. I have two type of garage door openers and asked Greg his preference. He gave me pros/cons of all. Greg was knowledgeable, professional, and prompt.

They did a replacement on some drive systems about a year or two ago. They are responsive and professional. I called them; they came out and took a look at what I had. One time all I had was, a mouse had chewed through the wires and they pointed that out. I did the repair and they never even charged me for the service call because I've been a customer before. They did a complete new motor installation and a new lift system installation.

It was beautiful. We previously have a 2 door so we had to have a header put in and so it was a little more expensive. We also chose a door with windows. The man who did the header for us was excellent. He did an excellent job. When they put in the doors, it was so quick. I don’t know how they do it but they put your doors back after they did the header so that your home is secure and all that happened in 2 days. He did the header completely and painted the trim. He matched the trim paint. They came the next day to put the door in and it’s beautiful. We had to have the rollers adjusted once. We’ve had many neighbors compliment on how the door looks. It does really look good. We were happy with the price. They are very quick. When we called them and told them that it was making noise and they said it probably just needs to have the rollers adjusted and they were here early the next morning so that’s very good. They said they’d be here at 8 and they were here at 8. They were very professional. They cleaned up and to me, that’s amazing. I would recommend them.

The supervisor was not pleased with the paint job so he had them repaint it.

Saved me the price of a new garage door opener. Said a gear in the motor could be replaced. The technician was friendly, courteous and very informative.
