Description of Work: Replaced a garage door at our home about a year ago. Have used them in the past for rental units and have been very pleased. I definitely recommend them and will use them again.

Description of Work: I had a part burn out on my old garage door opener, disabling it. I bought a tune-up/repair package with the hopes it would be a routine fix. The technician told me the part was no longer available for the opener, but he had a new garage door opener in his truck that he offered me a reduced deal on if I chose to have it installed within the next day or two. With research I learned it was more a top of the line model with more features than I needed, so I declined. Later I learned from the Home Depot tech that installed my new opener that the burned out part could have been replaced after all. It was a very old opener, so it was due for replacement, but I would have preferred to have the less expensive option of just replacing what was broken and to have done without the pressure sales tactic.

Description of Work: Repaired my door that kept re-opening after it closed. Inspected all the system components to make sure they were in good condition. 'Fine-tuned' my garage opening apparatus.

Gary called yesterday afternoon and after our conversation he sent me a quote via email. I responded with the approval to go ahead, I am now waiting a call to schedule a time for the replacement of the door to be completed.

Description of Work: Replaced two garage door springs. Spring broke at 10 AM and Mike, the owner arrived later that afternoon and got the work done quickly and professionally. He added some grease to the opener track which has quieted the mechanism significantly. I will go to him the next time I have a problem.

Description of Work: I purchased two garage door tune-ups from ABC Door Co. The technician, Mike, came at the appointed time and, after looking at the doors, very honestly told us that our doors needed more than a tune-up. He said they needed repair work - one of them had a broken cable spring - and that we should call the doors' manufacturer to do the repairs. We appreciated his being so forthright.

Description of Work: Provider was unable to provide service. They did not contact us in person though someone was home when they arrived. They later left a phone message stating that they were unable to provide this service on this type/model of garage door. It would have been nice if they had told us this in person.

Description of Work: ABC Door Co., very friendly owner, came to house to perform garage door tuneup. Investigating into the door, ABC tells us that there is nothing wrong with the door setup, checks the rollers and weatherstripping, runs the door with the automatic door opener and said, I would be wasting your money if I performed the Tune Up. Very happy and satisfied with ABC Door Co. and their honesty.

Description of Work: Their wasn't much work to be done. The sensor on our garage door had fallen off which was why the garage wasn't closing properly. The person pointed this out, much to my embarrassment I hadn't noticed this, and then since he was there and we had to pay the call out fee, he serviced the door as well.

Description of Work: They came out to give me a estimate on a new garage door. They were friendly, informative and had a good product line. I ended up choosing another company that was a little less expensive and is the company we have worked with before.
