The service rep, Korigan, showed up a few minutes early, was very professional and pleasant. He performed the maintenance quickly, and did an excellent job! The door works great and is much quieter! I highly recommend ABC Door Co.

Not only did he do all the services that were scheduled for, but he gave me some great tips on how to extend the life of my garage door opener. The garage door works great now and is as quiet as it has been since I can remember. They are my new contact for garage door/opener repair.

I was house sitting for a friend who travels a lot. When the garage door began erratically opening and closing, I used my special coupon to have the repairs made on her garage door, because I needed reliable access to her house. Originally when ABC door came out, it was expected they would recommend replacement of the door's entire mechanical system. Instead, they arrived when they said they would, adjusted several things, stating if there continued to be a problem, call and they would return. The door started its whimsical opening and closing again, so they came out, inspected, and said a main control board was needed. They did not have this part, so they ordered it and left. Several day's later they returned with the board, installed it, and left with the promise they would return should anything still remain unresolved. The other thing they did for me was to get the light to go on when the garage door was operated. It worked well, for a brief while, but now it no longer works. She has been traveling, so neither of us has dealt with the light, but that still nags at us both., however, I'm sure if I called they would return. The punctuality, professional work, and their pleasant demeanor all made a difficult situation much easier.

The gentleman who came to give an estimate was on time and gave a thorough explanation of all available options. We wanted a garage door with windows and after reviewing our situation suggested we replace one of the panels with windows instead of replacing the entire door. This was more economical and we were impressed he did not try to sell us a whole new door. Upon further inspection of the door he learned that our current door was installed by another company. He suggested our cheapest option would be to contact that other company (a competitor of his in ABQ) and have them install the panel, rather than buy from ABC which would cost more overall. We thought him very HONEST to suggest this (knowing it would take away business from his company), and he said he only wanted the best for our situation. He even suggested we keep the old garage door (which was in good condition) and sell it on CraigsList. Although we did not end up buying that panel from ABC door company, we were more than happy with their professionalism, honesty and overall kindness. We will recommend them to others.

No problems were found; the young gentleman explained what he did and what to watch for in the future.

The young man that came out was very professional. He had integrity; he had to leave to go get something and he didn’t dillydally, he did what he said he would do and came back. He was very helpful in showing me what I could do myself so I wouldn’t have to have someone come out next time.

I called the company after I purchased a coupon. The lady on the phone was very friendly and arranged for the repair man to come the next week. He replaced some parts and oiled others. The garage door works well.

After the service, the door worked more quietly than it ever had. After a couple of weeks, an issue arose with the door slipping. ABC Door Co. came back out, identified the issue, and fixed the problem at no charge. The repair required a new part, yet the ABC Door Co. representative declined to charge me, even though I told him I would be happy to pay. I was left with the strong impression that ABC Door Co. wants to make its customers happy. I will use them again.

He was scheduled to arrive between 8AM and 10AM. He arrived approximately 8:20. Koragen, introduced himself to me and described what he was going to do. When he completed his work, he showed me what he had done and gave me a can of spray lubricant to use in about six months. He showed me where and how to apply the lubricant. He was finished at approximately 9:00 AM

As mentioned above, this was a great service experience and a good investment in my garage door.

Everything went well, the ABC Door Co tech Korigan was on time, performed the service and answered all our questions. The new rollers are quester than the old ones. We will definitely use then again if we have any issues with the door.

Great, would use the company again. I wrote the original review in 2012. And I did use the company again. This year in July (2013), my garage door was not closing and I had to finagle the controls to get the door to fully open or close. Made an appointment and when the gentleman came to check he said it was just that the sensor had slightly moved and wasn't aimed correctly. He said he was surprised the office didn't suggest this to me as a fix. He spent two seconds aiming the sensor, told me that was that, and no charge. Service!!! This company will always be my first choice for a garage door fix!

He showed up on time and said here is what i am doing. The whole job took about 30 minutes and then he demestrated how everything worked. I was fully repaired to replace the opener unit and the business was able to make things right without having to replace the unit.

The tech from ABC Door showed up on time and was suitably uniformed and in a marked truck. He was pleasant and professional, and worked very fast. He detached both lower tracks from the upper tracks of the door and replaced the existing metal rollers with the upgraded (and quieter) nylon ones. He pointed out how the bearings in the old rollers were worn, allowing wobble and producing noise when the garage door went up and down in the tracks. After reassembling the tracks he applied spray lubricant to all of the moving points and hinges, and greased the screw drive on the opener. He was helpful and answered all of my questions. I would have given straight A's for the work, except that he negleted to tighten the bolts holding the tracks together on one side. A day or two after he left the door made a terrible racket when opening, as the lower track had moved and was no longer aligned with the upper track. I figured it out fairly quickly and finished the job myself, but I think the tech was a little careless in his rush to complete the job. A minor point but notable nonetheless. Frankly, it's the kind of mistake I would make but I'm not a professional. In the end, the door does operate much quieter now, and I would certainly use them again.

Good overall experience. They even installed an extra item upon request once they were at the jobsite.

The technician called me to let me know he was on his way, and fixed the door alignment, as well as replacing the rollers, etc. He did an excellent job. The only hitch was that due to construction on a new room adjoining the garage, the power to the garage was out, so he could not test the operation of the door. This led to a very frustrating time for my wife in trying to get it to close, as it turned out that the sensors were misaligned. I was at work 40 miles away and could not fix it myself. Because I did not know that the power had been out, I emailed the company to complain. They called me the next day and were very professional and courteous. Once they told me the power had been out, I saw that it certainly wasn't the technician's fault that he couldn't test the door. However, he could have been careful enough not to knock the sensors out of alignment in the first place, which is the only reason I gave the company a "B" for quality. Otherwise they were excellent.

The ABC Door rep. showed up just a little early and was very friendly. He confirmed my name and the service that was scheduled before actually starting. He then went right to work explaining what he was doing and the differences in the new parts. He also explained some basic preventative maintenance to keep the door working smooth. The last thing he did was lubricate all of the rollers and other moving parts and cleaned up. After he was done he had me sign the receipt and asked for the Angie's List coupon. Overall, the service was what I had ordered and done quickly and professionally.
