They are great. They have a good price, they are outstanding. I had to call them back, and they came right away--they are a very good company.

I called at 7:45 am on 4/28 and since the message said that someone would "call right back", I left my name, our basic location, plus the house phone number and my husband's cell number. We did not receive a call. We called back after 9 am and the person at the office acted as if we had not left a message, there was supposed to be someone at our home between 2-5 pm that day. We called back after 4:30 and were told that if the person came today, it would most likely be after 5 and we would be charged an after hours fee. Since we did not wish for that (and we were getting more upset each time we had to call), we asked when they could be out the next day. We were told that someone would get in touch with us between 8-9 am. We called back on 4/29 about 9 am. Supposedly someone was on their way and would be here soon and they would know that we were Angie's List customers. The service man showed up after 10 (I don't call that "on their way") and did what was necessary. When asked about the discount, he supposedly had NOT been informed about our membership. I also let him know the confusion that we had with the office and that we were NOT pleased about the price. No one had given us any price quote (which was about $20 more than what we expected) plus they added a $11 mileage fee--we called what we assumed to be a Rio Rancho number--we had never been charged a mileage fee from anyone else that had been used before. The service man gave us the name of the field manager and his phone number. We called and left a message about the lack of communication among the office staff and lack of professionalism from the office staff plus the lack of communication between the office and the field, but as with everything else about this experience, he did not return our call. We will never use them again, nor will we recommend them to anyone else.

They were wonderful and very professional. They did the work well and got everything cleaned up. They knew what they were doing, and I felt comfortable with their work. They were very fairly priced too.

This company was a no show no call for the services that I needed. I called and scheduled an appointment and they didn't show up at the time that was scheduled. When I called them they said that they were running behind. I asked if they would still show up and I was told that they would and that someone would call me shortly to let me know what time that they would arrive. I never heard heard back from them and it has been two weeks since they scheduled an appointment with me. I will never call this company again.

Some delays caused by them balancing among many jobs in progress. Other than that (which had no real effect other than that I couldn't leave town) it went smoothly. They made some errors (e.g. cleanouts on a patio extending 8 inches above grade) but fixed them quickly with no grumbling.

I was completly satisfied from the initial phone call to the company, the visit to my house by the company owner to give me an estimate (during which he answered my questions in detail, from which I learned a great deal) and through the day the company service manager installed my new heater and water bib to the outside. I worked for Uncle Sam for over 30 years, during which I moved many times, bought five houses and had many occasions to call contractors. Most were ok, some I prefer to forget, and a few, among which is A. B. Plumbing, I was extremly pleased with. And I believe, they are in first place among those that I have been pleased with over the years.

We spoke to him the day before he said he would be here at 10:am. He did not show or call. My husband called him. He said he would be here at 1PM. He did not show, he did not call. At 3PM the applicances arrived - I called him he said his office was supposed to call us, he was at another customer who had an emergency. I called his office and was told he had an emergency call - I told her I had an emergency and wanted someone out here. She said she would find someone and call me back. I took a chance and called TLC to see if they had someone running around with nothing to do - and they did. Both Richard and the Office called back, but I told them I would not be needing their service.

I moved to Albuquerque a little over a year ago and have had several plumbing "issues." I have been searching for a good (reputable, fair and courteous) plumber and, after many missteps, finally found AB Plumbing. My old faucet was seriously stuck in place and I was unable to remove it so it was necessary to find someone who could do the whole job for me. I called several plumbers and found that AB Plumbing gave me the best price once travel charges were figured in. AB sent John and he arrived when he was supposed to and he was very nice. He thought it was going to be an easy faucet exchange but it proved to be very difficult since the old stuff was corroded and cemented in. He remained pleasant and didn't mind at all my watching over his shoulder (I wanted to see why I was unable to do it). He was never condescending or rude and he worked quickly. A manger came out, at no charge, with extra parts that John hadn't gotten in his new vehicle. He was also very nice and they worked together to get the water back on and made sure I was leak free. All in all, it was an excellent plumbing experience.

The condensation pump on our refrigerated air had overflowed and deposited a large amount of water on the floor. He checked the condensation pump, determined it had just been clogged, and advised us to simply let everything dry out. He at no time tried to sell us a service we didn't need, and did not charge us for the call because there was no plumbing problem. It's been a long time since we've encountered such professionalism and honesty. Thank you, A B Plumbing!

Had an emergency call so was an hour late. Estimated job would be $150.00. Fixed hot water heater in a half hour. Had to wait for Gs Co.to shut off gas. He comp[leted pipe removal and plugging in a few minutes. It was 3 hours before Gas Co returned to turn gas service back on. Gas Co. replaced main valve to house and relit water heater.

I was very pleased. He explained to me on how to save some money. He made some excellent suggestions and the contractor I talked to also agreed that they were very good ideas.

We called for an estimate. They were supposed to be here between 9 am and 1 pm. They called and said they were running late and showed up at 4 pm. We scheduled a date for them to come out and repair the leak. They did not show up and called and rescheduled. Another time and date was set up. They could not locate the leak and said they could apply a sealer around the pipe they suspected was the leak. We paid $145.00 for the "repair" and it did not take care of the problem. Not once did they suggest using a leak locater and we basically paid for a glue job that did not fix the leak.

I was quite satisfied with their service. I found them a bit expensive, but since no one else could find the problem it was worth it to me. I had two other plumbers look at the water heater. Each one gave me a different story and was going to charge me an outrageous price. It turned out to be a very simple problem that took him 5 minutes to find and about 5 minutes to fix. He was polite, clean and fast. I was completely satisfied and hope that other people call them as well.

The guy they sent didn't seem very interested in doing the job. His mind seemed to be somewhere else. They were supposed to give me an estimate but they didn't do so. They showed up at the correct time but the time they scheduled was very flexible between 12 and 5pm. All of the plumbers were a little astounded because I understand how to do contracting.

Discovered that my hot water heater was leaking - and was to leave town the next day. All the plumbers are busy now with air conditioners so was worried about getting someone out-called AB Plumbing and they set an appointment for later in the day. Received a call from the plumber about mid morning (not long after I had called) telling me when he would be at my house in the pm. Received another call at the expected time telling me he was on the way. Came about 3:45 pm found the hot water heater needed to be replaced and was not up to code-very good about explaining everything that needed to be done and why. Worked until 7:00 pm-told me to watch it and if I saw any drops of water to call him and he would come back. The next morning saw small drop of water on one connection. Had to leave town-my brother called him for me and met him at my house that evening as he tightened the connection. My brother told him it was just a small drop of water and the plumber explained that small builds to big if not taken care of-impressed my brother who said he would use them if the future. I was most pleased with the service and care taken to explain everything. Will use them again (hopefully not for a while though $$)

From beginning to end, my experience was pleasant. Jana scheduled a no charge estimate (which I appreciated, as other companies wanted to charge me for a look at the work). Glen came out, gave me an estimate, and was upbeat and positive (other plumbing companies I had worked with spent the estimate time trying to convince me to have my house re-plumbed -- Glen focused on the estimate). Glen's estimate was much more reasonable than other companies estimates had been. When it was time to do the work, Glen was running a bit late and I really liked that he called to let me know. When he got to the house, he quickly did the work, explaining what he had done and what I needed to do to finish the installation of the vanity and shower/bath fixtures. He was friendly, personable, and professional. Everything looked and worked great and he invited me to call the company if I had any problems with anything in the future.

THEY SHOWED UP EARLY, AND THEY WERE EVEN COURTEOUS TO CALL AND NOTIFY US OF THEIR ARRIVAL. THEY WERE VERY PROFESSIONAL AND VERY CLEAN. THEY CLEANED UP THEIR MESS AFTER THEY WERE DONE. I WAS VERY IMPRESSED IN THEIR WORK.

THIS COMPANY PROVIDED GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE. THEY CAME OUT AND TOOK CARE OF WHAT WAS NEEDED. I WAS CONTENTED WITH THEIR WORK AND SERVICE. THEY ARE A GOOD COMPANY.

THEY SHOWED ME WHAT WAS WRONG WITH THE BATHTUB BEFORE THEY STARTED THE JOB. THEY WERE VERY NEAT AND THEY GOT THE QUICKLY. I WAS SATISFIED WITH THE WORK THAT THEY COMPLETED FOR ME.

THEY EXPLAINED THE JOB TO ME BEFORE THEY STARTED. WHEN THEY FOUND THE PROBLEM, THEY STOPPED WORKING TO TELL ME WHAT IT WAS. I LOVED HOW INFORMATIVE THEY WERE. I HOPE TO USE THEIR SERVICES AGAIN.

THEY ARE EXCELLENT SERVICE PROVIDERS. THEY ARE ALWAYS ON TIME. THEY DOA GREAT JOB EVERY TIME THEY COME OUT. I AM ALWAYS SATISFIED WITH THEIR EFFICIENCY.
