This company is A+. They were able to fit me in the day I called. Jonathan arrived on time as scheduled. He found the problem quickly and had the necessary part with him. He explained the cause, cleaned my vents and gave me some helpful maintenance tips. Very professional and cleaned up afterwards. I highly recommend and will definitely call on them again if I am in need of repair. Thank you!

1) I called the day after the holiday and the guy answering, Walter, snapped and asked how I got the number because they were on vacation?!?! Scheduled a service call anyway and was told he would arrive between 2 and 5 pm. 2) Service guy came the following Monday, showed up over 30 minutes past the 2 hr window with no phone call or apology which would’ve been courteous to say the least. 3)Got a call to schedule the repair once the part came in and Walter proceeded to SCREAM at me telling me I'm obnoxious, entitled, and nit picking for asking for a timeframe of when the service would be in the morning. I literally couldn't get a word in edgewise. Then he gets another woman, Barbara on the phone because he's 'so god **** angry' and she proceeds to SCREAM at me. I tried to explain to both of them that we are an active duty military family and they both said that's 'not their problem' and that 'they don't care' and that they're just trying to 'run a business' so 'get someone to watch your god **** kids'. 4) I didn’t receive the receipt or service estimate that was supposed to be emailed to me until I called after getting screamed at to get it sent to my email. I’m certain I’m also out of the $100 I already paid the people and have no chance in getting back. Will NEVER be using them again and canceled my repair. I would NEVER recommend a company that speaks so aggressively and rudely to a family of an armed forces service member or a paying customer no less. Absolutely atrocious!

A first visit determined we needed a part.2 days later the part artived and was installed quickly and professionally . Cost was fair.We wilcall again for other repair needs.

I have been using this family owned and operated repair service for over 10 years. It is a father and son run business. They are ALWAYS prompt, courteous, polite and very professional. I would not use anyone else.

Jonathon came out the day after I called to service my dryer. Quickly identified the problem and told me it was the belt and repaired it. He was very courteous and nice. Very responsive. They do charge $90.00 for service call but if you use their service they will apply the charge to your repair.

John arrived promptly and was able to diagnose the problem and order the necessary parts. He came back as scheduled and finished the work exactly on his original estimate. Very good work and very professional.

This company is top notch and a rare find - puts any company that we have ever dealt for similar work to shame. From first contact to work completion, we couldn't not have asked for a more professional experience. Walter was professional, and courteous. John who actually made the repair was so knowledgeable and thorough. Arrived right on time - diagnosed a very unusual problem in no time flat - ordered the right parts which arrived very quickly - and finished the repair all within 2 days. The cost of the repair was quite fair considering it included two visits - the first to diagnose and the second to make the repair, and the cost of two parts.. We are completely confident that things were fixed the right way. We would not hesitate to use this company again for any service that they offer. Great Folks. Great Company.

He did a quick and nice job of clearing the clog and cleaning up. He also checked my washing machine at no extra cost. No repair was needed.

John was professional in all respects, but most of all, HONEST. He told me to go out and buy a new washer....not worth it to fix, beside cost, because of age. Now how honest is that, when you make your living at fixing appliances?!!!! He’s my appliance fixer going forward. The $90 is for the service call and diagnosis. A charge for this is standard in this industry. Everything is clearly explained up front when you make your appointment. There are no surprises.

John did an evaluation of my washing machine. It is 12 years old and to fix it would not be cost effective since it would be half way towards a new model. He was honest and gave me all options available. He gave me a quote to fix it including parts and labor but being such an old machine, it would be a temporary fix since it has past its useful life. I appreciated his honesty and full description of what was wrong and my options.

Jon took a look and provided some pointers on maintenance, as no repair was actually needed. This is how Jon and his father Walter operate, I've had them in for other things. They try to maximize the benefit and minimize the cost.

I was tied up due to a funeral in my family and with the help of my tenants they professionally arrived on time, performed the service and managed the situation and I was never once disturbed. I definitely recommend them.

the man was very nice, diagnosed the problem, me a price and did the job. It could not have gone better. I didn't even need to ask for the $25 Angie's List coupon to be applied, he mentioned it and included it in the quote without even asking

Professional service and reasonably priced

Second time same repair person came to my house and he remembered helping me with the oven maybe 6 mo ths earlier. Very knowledgeable and helpful.

They found the problem in a minute, really nice people. In less than 5 minutes my dryer was running again. The price was fair , we are very happy with the service

The refrigerator stopped cooling. I contacted American Appliance Service late in the afternoon and they came over the following morning, as promised. John, the technician who came to the house, was able to identify the problem almost at once, as a defective cooling fan. The fan was replaced at that time and the refrigerator was working smoothly again. This all took less than an hour. John was very efficient and professional and the initial service call to set-up the visit was handled well. The cost was fair and itemized in the final invoice. I'd definitely hire them again.

While it took 3 visits to complete their professionalism and friendly and prompt service got the job done.

As usual the responsiveness and service is five stars. I have been calling American Appliance for years and the experience has always been the same. This is a family-owned business and they take pride in their work as well as their customer service. My freezer stopped working, it's middle of summer and the freezer was packed with food. I called John Monday evening; he was at my house Tuesday morning! Can't ask for better service. As it turns out, the compressor went and John explained that it was not worth the repair. He is always honest and will tell you if it's worth the cost to fix or not. Excellent Company!!! Highly recommend them.
