I contacted American Appliance via quote request at 6 am. They called back before 8 am. We discussed the issue and made appt for when I was home f.rom work. John, the serviceman, was prompt, took all precaution concerning the COVID virus, diagnosed the problem as a bad defroster switch, replaced the switch, all within one hour. This is a small family owned business that gives exemplary service. Courteous, communicative, prompt, and reasonably priced. I will most definitely use them again if needed.

I have used American Appliance several times over the last 8 plus years. I am consistently very happy with the outcome. I called today at 10 am for the repair. John is here and gone replacing my ice maker by 1 pm. Now that is service. I realize I was lucky with the timing today, and John had the part in his car. I'm still impressed. I called this company last minute and technician showed up same day. The technician that came to my house was very punctual and polite. Tech explained all issues and replaced the fan that went bad. Looking for great work to be done. I would call this company.

First time we had refrigerator and dishwasher repaired Then my 10+ year old fridge broke again (totally different part) at the height of the pandemic. They came with gloves, booties, and masks. It required 3 visits since the part ordered was incorrect. The right one was cheaper. I highly recommend them.

My mother Googled & found American Appliance. We happen to fall upon one of the nicest companies any could ask for. We lost everything in our refrigerator during this awful time. We had another quote of someone saying it would take 4 days. I called American appliance and they accommodated us for same day service and we could not have been more grateful. John arrived on time. He was so nice, well spoken in his having to tell us why it shut down. Very reasonably priced, cleaned up like you would never have known he was here. I called American Appliance Service and was told upfront that the cost to come out to the house and troubleshoot the problem would be $90. I was also reassured that due to these unsettling times John, the repairman, was not sick and would arrive with PPE- mask, gloves, and booties. He would speak to 1 person only, maintaining social distancing and payment would be by credit card only. John arrived in a timely manner, diagnosed the dryer issue quickly, explained the problem very clearly to me (6’ away) and what the cost would be. (Under $200 for everything!) He was very professional and when I tried to give him a tip he refused and said that I only ask you go on-line and give me a review! So YES I highly recommend American Appliance Service!

Nothing but good things to say about John and American Appliance Service....especially during these precarious times. We had purchased a replacement glass pane via an authorized parts dealer for LG. My initial Thu call to AAS was fielded promptly and efficiently...and was returned the same day...EVEN after normal business hours (8:00p). An appointment was secured for that Saturday...with a very reasonable window of 9:30-11a. At 9:35a, John called to let us know he would be at our home in 5 min. Given the quarantine conditions necessary for an in-home repair (acknowledged and detailed on the website) , he (us too) was fully prepared for social distancing with a mask, gloves and shoe coverings. He performed the work pleasantly, efficiently...and carefully; not bothered by the fact we were watching him from a distance. He explained each step of the process and took care not only to replace the glass...but to ensure that there were no little bits of glass left behind. This was our first experience with AAS and we would use them again, and highly recommend John and his service.

Work was performed quickly and expertly. Technician was thorough and clean. He even cleaned everything off after servicing. Top notch work and professional.

In the midst of all the chaos lately, my dryer died. It is an older dryer and I wasn't sure if repairmen were still going out to homes. But, I needed my dryer! I found American Appliance Service while searching online. Saw they had a good rating, so they were the first service I called and left a message. My call was returned the next morning and an appointment was set up for the next day. They had the parts needed with them and dryer was fixed! I was pleased with the responsiveness and service.

I called American Appliance and spoke to Walter. He patiently listened to the symptoms and told me it was likely the motor was going bad, but of course over the phone you can’t be sure. He scheduled John to come and assess the problem the next day, who confirmed that it was in fact the motor. I was given an estimate for the motor, any possible additional parts and the labor. Two days later John installed the motor and other worn out parts. He smelled gas from the natural gas pipe, found the problem, and tightened the attachment, and for no additional charge! I am from a family of entrepreneurs and family businesses. American Appliance truly represents the values and commitment of an experienced and reliable family business, and I highly recommend them for your appliance needs.

American Home Service is by far the best company to hire to repair any home appliance. They are an "A" rating across the board. Professional, on time, and honest. Not to mention, reasonable pricing. Oh! They even gave me a $25.00 coupon to apply to final bill. Excellent company run by a father and son.

Service was prompt, and I was kept well informed. They determined that the water pump on the relatively new GE dishwasher had failed and that it wasn't worth replacing it.

Jonathan made it look easy to reassemble the many parts & pieces of my gas dryer after properly replacing the belt which had broken. He was very knowledgeable, courteous and professional.
