The line was totally clogged after I had been useing one of those drain pipe cleaners that are supposed to keep the lines from building up with gunk. Apparently the build up had cleared but had then built up at a bend. He spent a good hour snaking the line. he had to disconnect the line where the pvc was connected to the old cast iron pipe so he could get further down the line leading out to the septic. It looked hopeless for a while due to the contents of the buildup (grease) however in the end he was able to completely clear the clog & then he realigned the pvc drain line which didn't have a good pitch so there was good flow from the upstairs kitchen sink all the way through. I have not had a problem since this work has been done. Also, he totally cleaned up the area where he had to snake the line which, you can imagine, was not a pretty sight considering the greasy residue that had built up and had been the reason for the clog.

Took about 45 mins to replace the plastic sink in the utility room with a new one. Was charged $22 for a pipe + $89 for service call + $150 labor. Thought this was very expensive for rhe work performed. New sink leaked all over the floor the 1st time I used it causing a big mess. He returmed the next day and fixed the leak. Will not use them again.

2 men came. They were quick and efficient. They were courteous, neat and cleaned up as they worked. They worked with my schedule which can be challenging. The woman on the phone was excellent.

Jim was on time and very friendly. He even took his shoes off before walking around the house. He took a look at the issue and had the problem fixed within an hour.

First, let me say the customer service was very good. I called up and was given an estimate appointment the next day. However, the price left something to be desired. Here is a breakdown of what I wanted with what they were charging for a kitchen/laundry room remodel. 1) Reroute gas line to dryer and stove (about 6 feet for each. Basement is unfinished exposed). -Include gas connections $1,200.00 2) Re-rough laundry sink and washing machine -Hook up laundry sink -New valves for kitchen sink and laundry sink -Run ice maker line to refrigerator -Hook up dishwasher/new sink -$2400 Total Price-$3600 I had another Angie's list recommended plumber out whose total estimate was $1654.00. Their estimate was as follows 1) Reroute gas line to dryer and stove (about 6 feet for each. Basement is unfinished exposed). -Include gas connections -$814.00 2) Re-rough laundry sink and washing machine -Hook up laundry sink -New valves for kitchen sink and laundry sink -Run ice maker line to refrigerator -Hook up dishwasher/new sink -Install stove $990 (This included installing stove which Walker's estimate did not). Total Price was $1804.00 - $150.00 (Angie's List Discount) = $1,654.00 Bottom line, this contractor was professional in all aspects but was way too high in their price.

We made the call at 8:00 am and by 9:30 someone was at our house to assess the problem. We had a new hot water heater installed the next day. Everyone we dealt with was polite and efficient.

The provider was excellent. Water was leaking from a burst pipe behind our first floor wall and was finding its way into our basement. The plumber appearead extremely knowledgeable about his craft and was very professional & friendly. Through the plumber's effiective methods, he easily identified the precise location of the leak, cut out a small square of sheet rock to get to the pipe, and was able to fix it quickly. In addition, the cost for his services was the most reasonable that we found, only $187 total! A different provider that we contacted the prior day but ultimately refused their service charged a fee that was more than 5 times this cost. You can't go wrong Robert Walker Plumbing. I would highly recommend them and will always use them now for all my plumbing needs.

We called them and within an hour they arrived. The repair took about a half hour and it was completely fixed. The price was reasonable and they did everything that was asked and no more.

We have called on Robert Walker for all of our plumbing needs since we moved to Hunterdon County eight years ago and have always had great service from them. We recommend them to anyone who asks and would not consider using another plumbing company. Kathy is so pleasant and responsive and the technicians are terrific.

After checking Angie's list for a plumber I called at 1 45 on a Friday afternoon. I was told they would be there within an hour-- 45 minutes later they showed up. Very professional; very quick were able to clear a block in 10 minutes that my neighbor and I had spent 2 hours trying to clear. Installed a second sump pump.

Disconnected pipes from old tank. Drained water from old tank. Removed old tank. Connected pipes to new tank.

They were very responsive- they came out the very day I called!!! Very nice from start to finish!!

I would recommend them too because they've showed up on time and they are very professional. They were punctual and very polite and they seem to know a lot about the system.

It went fine. There was no emergency and the job was simple. However, it was wonderful to talk to a real and pleasant human when I called initially. I made an appointment which was kept in a timely manner and the job was done professionally. I felt that they valued my time. It was a pleasure to work with them.

We called on NewYear's Day (PM) regarding a plumbing leak that greeted us when we turned the water back on after being gone for the holidays. We got an appointment for 8AM the next day and John arrived promptly and quickly fixed the problem. He replaced part of the copper hot water line to the washing machine which had developed a small hole and was causing water to leak behind a wall and into the basement.. He also was able to address some other small items and was very willing to answer questions we had about our plumbing system and hot water heater. I would definately recommend John and plan on using him again should the need arise.

He came on time and performed the work professionally. The only dissatisfaction I have was with the price of the part. He charged me over two times the price of the part. I think it is too much to charge for the part as he already charged the time to come out and the time spent to fix the shower.

I spoke to Kathy on the phone on Monday morning and she said she could have somebody out to me the following day between 11 and 1pm. Just like some of the reviews stated, she was very helpful and friendly. When I asked her if they happen to repair sheetrock as well, she replied no, but offered me a referrral for somebody she thought could help me out. I believe it was Jim (Robert's brother) who showed up the next day with a helper within the window Kathy designated. It took them approx 45 min to cut out a section of the pipe and replace it with a piece of pex and Sharkbite couplings. This was after they struggled to replace it with a copper fitting. For some reason they couldn't get the copper fitting to go onto the existing pipe. Needless to say, they were able to quickly switch to plan B and all appears to be well. I would defintely consider using these guys again as the price was very reasonable.

Service tech was prompt, professional and answered all my questions. I will not hesitate to use Walker again, and plan to have them refill my acid neutralizer system every year

I had assumed that the whistling sound was caused by the mixing valve but turns out that the diverter on the bathtub spout had worn out. The spout was replaced and the problem was solved.

Kathy a the front office was an absolute delight. Pleasant and customer oriented. She managed to fit me in the very same day, once she found out that I was in the middle of a remodel and had to have the water lines and valves installed before I could continue with installing the boards and tiles. She promised to get back within the hour to see if she could fit me in the same day instead of next week. She did and gave me a window of an hour later in the day. Her husband, who is the plumber, arrived just in time. He was also equally pleasant and got the job done. I plan to do another bathroom, and will definitely be calling them again and also recommending to others.

I have been using them for about 6 years or so as needed. I always use them and they’re very reliable. They’re very helpful, they tried to get to you as soon as they can, and they are very trustworthy.

We found Robert Walker Plumbing on Angie's List and have had them out several times. We like and trust them. The first time they visited was a real need but it was also sort of a test to learn more about the operation. We had an outdoor faucet with a small leak and asked them to repair it and to give an estimate for other work we needed to have done. Scheduling was easy (their office person is very nice) and they completed the repair efficiently and at a good price. Their estimate for the other work we needed was also good (better than estimates from other plumbers). The estimates were for replacing another leaking faucet, rerouting plumbing to make it easier to access an external shut off valve for the winter, rerouting water treatment plumbing to make it easier to service the neutralizer tank, and servicing our water treatment unit. All of the prices were reasonable and they completed the work efficiently and it everything works great. The water treatment service was a little expensive but this is not due to their labor costs. It is mostly because the neutralizing material that goes in the tank is expensive. Their price is competitive or lower than other outfits to do the same type of servicing. Also, they use the best gauge pipes and the best neutralizer mix (the other calcite stuff is cheaper but it cakes up and causes water pressure problems - as will be seen below). After servicing the tank, we lost water pressure in the house but it wasn't due to their work. We called them up and they came the very next morning and diagnosed the problem. Unbeknownst to us the cheaper calcite had caked up at the bottom of the tank, creating a cement like cap over the material. So when they added the new mixture, over the "cement cap", it sealed it up and the system couldn't draw water through it., thus creating water pressure problems. They broke apart the cap inside the tank, explained the problem, and fixed it, no charge. However, the problem isn't really gone and the calcite can re-clog the system. If it happens again we may have to have the tank completely repacked but we'll have them do it. They do good work, are fair in price and treatment, are responsive, and we like how they have addressed our concerns.

Our experience with Robert Walker Plumbing (Kathy & John) was exceptional. They were very responsive, quick and neat, and the cost was very reasonable. I will definitely contact them again with any plumbing issues.
