They were unbelievable. They were wonderful. They came on the same day. There were two gentlemen and they were very pleasant. I spent $250 may be on their services. They were amazing. They were absolutely wonderful. I will use them again in the future if I need to. I actually intend to use them again.

Using Angie's List as a guide, I called Walker and left my phone number and a description of the problem. My call was returned within 10 minutes. I explained the problem and was given a time window for the next morning. John arrived exactly on time, introduced himself, assessed the problem as not too serious and went right to work. When the work was finished, he presented a bill that I thought was reasonable and pointed out that he had applied a 5% discount for Angie's List (which I had totally forgotten about-I just wanted the leak fixed). The work area was left clean. It has been one week now and all is fine and working properly. Since I did not have a personal recommendation from anyone I knew, I was preparing to be one of the horror stories one reads about. What a pleasant surprise this whole transaction has been. Scheduling was effortless and dependable. The work was skillfully done by a plumber whose demeaner was professional and confident and friendly. This is the first time I have used Angie's List as a resource. It most certainly won't be the last!

after phone calls and confirmation of an appointment, this company was a no show and we never heard from them again. How tough is a phone call to say they had decided not to bid on the work or could not make the appointment?

I spent about $2700 for their service and their service was very good. I haven’t been able to cross check about the price yet.

They scheduled us right away and were able to accomodate our tight schedule without any problem. The price was definitely fair as far as the services went, the plumber showed up on time and they even gave us an alternate option for one of the services to help us save some money on supplies. Had a great experience with both the plumber and Kathy in the office. They are going on my list as "our plumber" from now on.

We had a leak from a valve used by our Jacuzzi. They needed to order the replacement part. They did this quickly and were back to replace the part in a matter of days. They did an excellent and very professional job. We have used them on many occasions in the past, generally for small jobs and have always been pleased.

We have used them for a number of years. We are very happy with their work and we will continue to call them out for service. They are prompt, the estimate is exact, always on time, and the work appears to be done great.

There were two guys who did the work in 2 hours which was a lot quicker than I was expecting. The work was great. My only surprise was that they didn't know how to change the length of the legs on the dishwasher. I know they are plumbers and not dishwasher specialists but I would think this would be something they have worked with many times in the plumbing industry. The receptionist was very nice and answered all my questions. They gave me a 5% discount because I found them on Angie's list so the work cost around $200 less than another plumber's estimate and they were able to get it done as soon as I needed it. I would use them again.

I had another plumber recommended by a neighbor come in, he had started the job, left and after a series of excuses and stories never came back. I joined Angie's List in desperation found this number, called, was immediately called back, the plumber arrived the next day on time. The work was finished two days later only because he had to order a part for my shower that he had tried to get at three different plumbing supply stores. I was thrilled with the service, the updates and just the general kindness of the whole company involved.

Mr. Walker has done alot of work for me in the past. I continue to use there service because of their excellent customer service. They are very responsive on the phone, Mr. Walker wife answers the phone and is very comforting. The work they perform is always done well and the prices they charge are fair. I would reccomend their service to anyone in my area.

Clean prompt and finished in no time

He found the leak quickly. Took the right approach to fixing it (by going in through the closet, rather then knocking out tiles). There has been no leak since it was fixed. I also asked him to replace a valve in the toilet which he did, even though I didn't tell him up front I would need that done. He was on time, and took his shoes off each time he came in the house from outside, which was nice. He was very friendly, and described what he was doing, which I always appreciate.

Whole experience was great. Kathy arranged for service on the same day that I called and at the time that was convenient for me. Plumber arrived on time, completed task quickly, and used parts that I had already purchased in my (last) attempt at DYI plumbing! I recommend Robert Walker Plumbing without reservation and will use them for all future plumbing needs.

My well pump started acting up and would not produce any pressure. I had used Robert Walker Plumbing before to fix a tub leak, so I called him to diagnose this problem. John, the owner, came over in short order and diagnosed the problem quickly that the pump was bad. He verbally told me it was a $2,000 job to pull and replace the pump. Not knowing any better I asked him to proceed as I needed running water. He came back an hour later with a machine to pull the pump. In the meantime I called the original well installer just to get a confirmation that this was a good price. The well driller quoted me a price of $1100. When John came back I asked him to break down the cost, parts and labor, so that I could understand his $2,000 quote. He said that the labor would be 3 hours x 2 people for a total of $300. I asked him what made up the other $1700 as pumps cost in the neighborhood of $400-$500. He could not explain this and told me I'd have to call the office. At this point I was very suspicious - why would the owner be unable to break down his own verbally quoted cost for me? Also, I could not understand why he would not provide a written quote. I felt I was being taken advantage of; I told him I did not want him to do the job. He ended up charging me $170 for a service call and 2 hours of his time. Meanwhile, his website advertises free estimates. I understand that his time is not free, However, no work was done, so how could this be considered a service call? I feel I was unfairly charged for a service call on top of his time. The well driller (Stover) did the job in 1 hour for $1100. I will never use Robert Walker Plumbing for any services again.

The work was done in a timely manner and the technician John was most professional. The cost of the job was actually a bit lower than the estimate. Great work. Would use the company again and would have no reservations recommending them.

Being on time for an appointment is very important to me as I work full time. They answered a call from me on a Saturday and after asking a series of questions, were able to pinpoint the probable problem. They arrived first thing Monday morning and went to work. Very competent, professional. I would surely use them again.

When you call, you don't get a recording. You talk to his wife and she is wonderful and so is he. In my book, he's excellent. He is so courteous and nice. I just hold such great regards for him. I didn't let the "B" rating for the price he had deter me from calling him the second time.

Plumber came on time, very professional, took off shoes before coming in; took a look at problems and promptly fixed with no issues.

The plumber sent to us arrived within 20 min. of his call saying he was on his way and within another 20 min. he had diagnosed the problem and fixed it.

His quote matched what he charged even though I added the sink to it after he got here and he showed up when he came when he said he would which when I called was the next day.
