They were excellent. They came earlier than they had to, finsiehd in one day, brought reliable people, and overall, I am very happy with them.

Everything went well. They arrived on time, were helpful, and they figured out the problem when other companies couldn't

They came first to give an estimate (they charge a service call for the estimate - which is why I rated price lower). They were on time for the estimate, and provided a quote on the spot. I arranged to have the work done. They were on time to start the work, they were very clean, explained what were doing and gave me some ideas about other things I could do myself to improve the system. The actual price was the same as the estimate. I would use them again!

It went excellent. I am happy with them.

We couldn't be happier with our overall experience. From the sales calls (Angelo was great - very patient with all of our questions) though installation, everything was top notch. The installation started and finished according to the agreed schedule. The workers arrived on time each day (actually ahead of time). The installation crew treated our house like it was their own - they put down mats/drop cloths to protect the floors, cleaned up as they went along and at the end of every day. Everyone was friendly and helpful throughout the project - answering all of our questions and addressing any questions/concerns that we had. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend Air Group to our friends and family (which we have already done).

They were quick. They were very focused and did their work. We had to leave the house because the old duct work that they were removing was going to contaminate the rest of the house. They said that it was a good idea because we hadn’t intended to stay. They were very quick and they finished at the end of the day. There was a lot of work and they did a great job. We would definitely use them again in the future.

I had a couple of estimates - all cheaper than Air Group. However, I was so impressed with the sales person and the way he addressed all my concerns - especially additional duct work need to properly cool certain rooms that I felt they would do a proper job. When the day came to install the system they "attacked" the house. There must have been 8 trucks - technicians everywhere. What a job. Neat, clean and professional. One day - a long day - but one day. The system was some $11,000 before energy rebates that they helped me with and I am very pleased with the job and the quality of the equipment installed - Carrier brand equipment.

We spent about $10000 for replacing the systems. They were really good and the salesman was really good too. He gave us an estimate right away while he was still here. He also told us while he was still here during his initial visit about the free financing for one year that we could get. There would be no interest paid for a year. So, that was really nice and helpful since we had that option. When the workers he told came to actually install the furnace and the air conditioning, they sent like a small army. There were like 4 to 5 trucks. They cleaned up, took everything, put the new one in and got it all done within one day. They cleaned up after themselves. They were all very polite and courteous. So, it was a good experience.

Prompt response to inquiry, professional evaluation of our situation, good price, professional work. Would not hesitate to recommend and will certainly use again.

One of their sales team came out and was generally hostile and belligerent. He argued very loudly and affirmatively for everyone to hear that the furnace (although none of 3 experts could get it started even) should be fixed even though this unit's life was already 15 years past its useful life, that it didn't look so bad and that the a/c could be repaired with a $1200 part (plus service charges) . When we read the inspection report to him word for word, he admitted he was not a service person and could not look inside the furnace but still stated strongly that it should be repaired and that he had seen much worse. he also kept berating us that he was not a service person and could do any repair services, even when i explained to him that it was his home office that had advised not fixing it. he wouldn't even give me a chance to get in a word. I called and spoke to a manager and they did try to note on the quote that they did not recommend fixing it, but it was way too late. the damage was done and the seller refused to pay anything to replace the unit.

We needed a completely new system to be put into our house. We called and got several estimates from other companies but decided to go with Air Group because they seemed to be very knowledgeable and I didn't feel as if I was being up sold on anything. After the initial sticker shock, we decide the go ahead and get the work done. A very professional and courteous crew arrived on time and worked for eight hours to get the job done. My house was covered in drop clothes and rubber mates to protect all of the wood and furniture. George was extremely professional and continuously kept me informed of the progress and sought out my opinion on the work that they were doing. The house was vacuumed and cleaned and you would have never known that an entire crew was there ripping apart my house all day long. My front yard looked like a war zone, but when they left, everything went with them. There are some items that are supposed to be followed up on (separate from this job) for my other unit, so hopefully the level of excellent service will continue with that.

I spent about $560 on the job. I thought that the guy, who came out, really took his time. He did not rush, even though he came very late in the evening. He took his time and he was thorough. However there was something I did not like. They had quoted a price of $299 to me over the telephone, but when they came out they told me that, since I had two units, they would charge me $299 additionally. I was not very happy with that. I felt that it was something they should have talked about on the phone. I ended up having my second unit serviced by them as well. I called the company the next day because I was really upset about the price. They were good about it and told me that they would refund the amount to me. They refunded $70, which was nominal. I suggested that in future they ought to ask people about the details of the units, before they come out to do the work. They had not asked me the number of units I had on the phone. They had just quoted the price of $299 without asking me the number of units. The quoted price covered the springtime maintenance cost and onetime maintenance cost. I felt that their price was very high. I could have purchased a new air conditioner at the price that I had paid. I felt the price of $299 was too high for coming out and cleaning the system. It was ridiculous. I am glad that they refunded some amount, but I still feel that it was way too much money to pay to get the system cleaned. They were punctual, though. I have a maintenance plan with them. So, I am forced to use them for atleast a year.

Very professional, pleasant experience from start to finish. Salesman Chet came to give estimate exactly when promised, came with workmen on the day of installation, and called to check that everything was done to our satisfaction the next day. Workmen put on shoe coverings when entering house, covered entryway and stairs to protect them, and swept up afterward. All old parts and boxes from the new unit were hauled away. Every person we dealt with, from the office staff to the salesman to the workmen were personable and took the time to answer any questions we had.

I had a complete central AC replacement and new duct work replaced in the Attic. The installation was completed in one day which was very convenient. After the installation we experienced several problems. The first being the town inspector would not pass the job because the access point for the AC system in the attic was not appropriate. Technicians had to come out and make another access in one of the spare bedrooms that is currently over were my newborns crib is, another trip out was to replace duct work that was never changed during the installation, the most recent trip out by the technician was to hook up one of the air ducts that led to the sitting room in my house, upon the technician hooking that up he found another duct that was never hooked during the original installation. These were some of the problem that i encountered after the initial installation, Air Group did come out and to do their best to rectify each problem, but i felt that these were all problem that should have been done correctly during the initial installation. I would recommend to someone looking for a new AC system should shop around more and try some of the more local independent companies. This was the first big job that i did to my house and it was and expensive one, i should have shopped around more. Just as i did for the heating system conversation that i'm getting done next month, form oil heat to gas heat.

I had used Air Group once at my old place so I tried them first for some work I needed done on my new house, which was old and needed a lot of work. I received the estimates for the work very quickly. Also received a quote for a new water heater which I didn't ask for but wasn't really put off by trying to sell me more at the time. Scheduled the work and they arrived on time. When they got their I asked for estimates to replace 7 outlets with 3 prong outlets as well as a cost to install ceiling fixture boxes in 3 rooms. I was told I'd have it probably by end of day. They finished on the second day and just asked me to pay. I asked to walk around and confirm what was done. I asked for the permit and told it was being sent to me but I had to pay for everyhing before the electrical was even inspected which I was not a fan of. After they left I realized I forgot to check on thing (toilet repair) and it turns out it wasn't done. I also never received the estimate for the addiitional work I had asked for. I called to let them know they needed to come back for the toilet and that I wanted the estimates for the additional work. I wanted to do it all at once - they said they'd have to get back. 4 days passed with no word so I called back and was told they'd get back to me. Another few days passed and this time I was told the person was on vacation but would be back Tuesday and would call first thing. I called on Wednesday after hearing nothing and was told someone would call me. After not hearing anything still, I called and said I just wanted the toilet fixed and I no longer needed any additional work. Funny enough, all of a sudden they had the cost. Why is it when I don't ask for something I get a cost (water heater) and when I do ask for a cost I can't get it? They told me they would have to rip through a wall to do do one ceiling light because there was no access - there is a huge space above that but they clearly didn't check or even care. I approved the cost for the installation of the 3 prong outlets even though it was expensive ($30/outlet). They didn't have 7 white so they gave me 6 white and 1 brown. Clearly looks stupid in the room now. One of the ones that was 3 prong that wasn't working well which I had asked them to check wasn't working after they were done so I replaced it myself for $2. Rip off on the costs. It took over a month to receive my permit which held up the inspection process. About a month after the work was done I got a call from the water company who told me that the water meter was running backwards and now I had an issue with my bill. Turns out Air Group put it on incorrectly and now I had an issue with the water company and needed to have it fixed. I didn't bother calling them because clearly there work is not acceptable and worth more aggrevation. I was extremely disappointed in the costs and the service and will not be using them again. I have a lot of work to be done and hoped to use them in the future but now another company is getting all my business.

First the good part -- Our furnace failed on a Saturday morning. The technician came very promptly. He evaluated the situation. Gave me an estimation. Ordered parts. He went over to that place to pick up parts. He replaced the parts quickly and efficiently.We got our heat back with in an hour. Next the bad part -- When I heard the estimate, I felt it was steep. So, I called the dispatcher and asked for a breakdown. He could not provide me a breakdown. He said the total includes parts, service and one year warranty on the parts he replaced. When I told him that I am a member of Angie's list, he gave me a 10% discount. But even after the discount, the bill came to $970 with taxes. After the technician left, I asked around. The parts they replaced (motor, wheel and capacitor) cost less than $300 at retail prices. So, I paid almost $600 for the service. So, if you don't care about the money, you get excellent service.

We were very pleased with the quality of the work. The men were friendly and careful to protect our floors. The inspectors even remarked how they could tell it had been installed expertly.

The guys were really great. Our heat went out in the middle of winter, we called Air Group, and they came out the very next day to give us an estimate. We actually weren't sure if we needed the heating unit repaired or replaced entirely, so they offered us a good arrangement. Sending out an engineer to diagnose the problem involves a $125 fee (which I understand is fairly standard practice for most companies), but sending out a salesman to give an estimate on a replacement unit is free -- they offered to send out the engineer for $125, but if it turned out we needed a replacement, they would credit the $125 toward the final replacement cost. So that's what we ended up doing, and it worked out well, as it turned out we did need a replacement -- the unit was over 20 years old and had completely died. The engineer and the salesman who came were very punctual, very knowledgeable, and very professional, and they explained everything very well. They gave us an estimate for a unit, which we weren't entirely happy with, and we asked them to see if they could find us an energy-efficient unit -- which was a bit difficult since we needed a residential rooftop package unit, which I understand is kind of rare. But they got back to us within a few days with a revised estimate that included an energy-efficient unit, though the unit was being shipped from another state, so the install date was going to be pushed back a bit. We ended up going with Air Group, as their revised estimate (around $7500) was actually comparable to the two other companies we got estimates from, but it was going to end up being a lot cheaper when we factored in the tax credit and rebates we could get from using the energy-efficient unit. So we signed the proposal with Air Group, gave them the down payment, and scheduled the install for a couple weeks later, after the unit was supposed to arrive. Unfortunately, the install was scheduled for right after that first ridiculous blizzard of the winter that we had in the tri-state area, but these guys came through anyway. They came the day before to survey the snow situation, and told us that they would come the next day to do the install as scheduled -- which was great, because it insured that we could get the install done before the end of the year, and thus get the tax credit for it. On the day of the install, they showed up with several guys and all the best equipment -- including a a couple of vans, a truck, and a crane, which actually worked out fine, since they had taken care of all the permit work with the city beforehand and closed off our block no problem. They used the crane to remove the old unit from the roof, and then place the new unit on the roof, and then a couple of guys spent the afternoon installing the new unit and setting everything up. They also hauled away the old unit, which was really convenient. And after the installation, they stayed in touch to take care of all the paperwork for the tax credit, the rebate, and the city inspections. Basically, the whole operation went very smoothly, and everything has worked well since then. These guys are professional and trustworthy, and I was very happy with them -- I highly recommend Air Group.

Air Group did an amazing job with the installation of a 3-ton air-handler and central A/C compressor, as well as the installation of new overhead ducting throughout the house. The cost also included the installation of 2 Aprilaire electronic media filters for both the new A/C system and the existing heating system, as well as the installation of a new Aprilaire humidifier. Air Group was the only contractor who expressed a willingness to do this installation job, as the other contractors just wanted to retrofit our existing system with an oversized unit and use the existing duct system. I am still amazed at how they were able to squeeze the entire air-handler into a small upstairs closet. The six man work crew arrived in a fleet of trucks, and did a superb job of keeping the house clean. The installation was completed in one day and the system performs superbly. We are very pleased with the results. Although Air Group's proposal was not the cheapest estimate that we obtained, the quality of their work and the superior performance of the system as promised was well worth the added price. Their service response to-date has been exceptional, and their service representatives have been very professional and courteous whenever I've needed to call about questions regarding the system.

I used Air Group once and they did a good job. Overall, they gave a lot of attention to detail and explained things along the way. They highlighted all sorts of opportunities for me to think about. They were very thorough. The were pretty pricey, although I did not shop around. I am not sure if they are comparable to other companies.

I think they also did some duct work to accommodate the new unit. They created a bed for the air conditioning compressor. They were excellent overall. They have been very responsive. They have responded to me anytime I have called, even for minor adjustments. They get back to me immediately. They have been very helpful and very professional. They are used a lot in my neighborhood. There was nothing that I did not like about them. I spent about $10000 on the job, including the labor and material. They provided excellent service. I will use them again in the future.

We had 2 ac's replaced, 2 furnaces replaced with 1, and a brand new furnace install in the attic (with new ductwork, gas line, etc). I did a lot of research and asked a lot of questions, which can sometimes be off-putting to people. Ron Racioppi politely and thoroughly answered all of my questions and worked with us to ensure that we were going to be happy with the work. The men who did the work were all very polite, professional, and cleaned up each day. They all spoke English which made it easier for me to communicate with them. They were prompt (7:15 every morning in their trucks waiting to descend upon the house at 7:30) and we are happy with the outcome of the work. While I am sure that they are not the cheapest price out there, they were cheaper than our other quotes (from highly rated companies). I would definitely recommend them and would use them again in the future.

I liked them a lot. They were a little pricey but they do good work. They got it done in one day. They did clean up well and they stayed and taught me how to use everything.

Although a little more expensive than other provider's service plans, Air Group performs a CO test that the other provider did not. Person I spoke to on phone to purchase service plan was very professional and courteous. She scheduled the initial inspection for the next day. Service tech arrived on time and performed inspection in a timely and professional manner.

I had never used their service before.I called them at 8am with a "no-heat" emergency. They arrived by 11:30, and after a break to get parts, came back and finished the job by 4:30). It was pricey ($185 for the diagnostic service call, plus 800 parts and labor), but I was not shocked given the situation (it's 20 degrees outside) and length of the job. And glad to have heat again.
