Description of Work: We hired them to replace all countertops in our huge kitchen. They re-shaped our peninsula , changed the shape of our island and we even had the product used as our back splash. We had this done in 2008 , it still looks brand new today. We had friends use granite and they have to re-seal all the time.

Description of Work: I had my kitchen counters and the bar counter done over along with the backsplash. The salesmen came over showed me granite and backsplash. The salesman took the measurements of everything. The next date another employee showed up to double take measurements to make sure the salesman did the right measuresment. Then the workers came and put the cut granite over my counters and did the backdsplash. the one thing I had to call them abut was my electric socket covers. and they came the next day and covered them. They were very neat and very respectful.

Description of Work: They remodeled my kitchen. They resurfaced the cabinets, put in new granite counter tops and back splash, and installed a new sink and faucet. | |1) Very good job on the cabinets |2) Acceptable job on the granite. Couple of the edges are a little uneven. |3) Disappointing job on the faucet. Entire faucet has loosened up several times in the last several years. First 2 times I tightened up myself. Third time I contacted them to fix. The entire faucet came out of the counter. Per them they only guarantee their plumbing for 30 days. They did not use a certified plumber. Guys doing the granite installed. They offered to send a plumber out @ $150 per hour. | |Due to their lack of standing 100% behind their install, they are no longer being considered for my bathroom renovation. I would never trust the plumbing portion of the install.

+ 4 moreIt took them 3 days to finish the job, but they told me that at the beginning. I paid them 3 payments of $2800.00. I had someone else do the tile floor. I was going to have the whole bathroom redone by a regular contractor but then when I added up the cost, it was $30000.00 just to tear down the bathroom. My first house cost that much. Granite Transformations are bathroom fitters and they do it with granite. Still, it was kind of expensive. They were upfront and honest about their prices. They did a good job. They did exactly what they said they were going to do. They planned it out and they measured everything. They did exactly what they said. I wanted more than I could afford. I wanted open granite on the tub too but I just couldn't afford it. I just didn't want to spend $10000.00 on the little bathroom. They individually priced everything and it just added up and up. My only reservation is that I couldn't afford all that I wanted. They did what they promised to do very well. They were expensive for what it is. I felt that it was expensive but I wanted it so I paid for it. They kept nickel and dimming. They covered my walls. It's not like they tore everything down and gave me a new bathroom. They measured my tub and put acrylic over it. They gave me new fixtures for the bottom but not for the top. They installed my double shower head. They took down pictures and racks and they installed them all back, but they didn't charge me for that. I thought the price should have been more like $6000.00 for what they did. I liked them. They had their own plumber and their own carpenter and their own other people to help. I guess they had to pay all those people. They advertise that they can redo your kitchen and bathroom in a day but in my case it took 3 days.
Description of Work: Granite Transformations in West Berlin, New Jersey did the bathroom refinishing for me. They replaced the tub with an acrylic tub. They did the walls with the pattern I wanted and the sink.

+ 0 moreWhile I was hoping that the price for the granite overlay would have been considerably less than granite slabs, I'm not sure it worked out to be much, if any, cheaper. However, the product looks beautiful and has the maintenance free aspects of a Silestone product. The ancillary products that they use (sink and faucet) are top of the line in terms of quality. The company itself was a pleasure to work with. We have been doing extensive work around the house lately and have had the opportunity to use many different contractors for various services. Granite Transformations out of West Berlin, NJ was one of only two that fully met our expectations in terms of professionalism. They showed up when they said the would and did a completely professional job, right down to final cleanup and care instructions. The installers were polite and personable and did a remarkable job. I would highly recommend them to anyone.
