The Pool Boss is an amazing, professional, well-organized and customer-oriented business. My experience with the Pool Boss from start to finish was seamless. The Pool Boss made the entire project extremely easy and worry-free while also taking into consideration the many details that I was focused on and issues that I was concerned about. Their staff was always on time and communicated with me on all occasions throughout the construction process. Chris and his team are great people who take pride in delivering a superior product and experience to their customers. I have had many construction projects performed in the past and none of companies I hired made it as smooth and stress free as the Pool Boss did. They are totally transparent in the pool construction process and I would recommend them to my family, friends and colleagues. I can’t wait to enjoy my summer oasis thanks to Pool Boss who got me through construction in a snow filled Covid winter!!!

From the initial meeting with Chris and the quick responses from the install and service team, to the very much appreciated scheduling notification system, it has been a seamless and painless process, although a lengthy one. The Pool Boss made the process of installing an in ground pool a pleasure! Everyone on their team is truly helpful, thorough and so very efficient! They were perfectionists during the entire process. Chris would always say “we have to make sure we get it right the first time”, and they did! Super happy. It has been a very long process but working with The Pool Boss has been great. I'm aware the township takes its time with issuing permits and scheduling inspections. But on their end the installation process was so quick and efficient. I'm still amazed at how fast the excavation and frame installation went. From the planning process with Chris, to communicating daily with Joanna, and Don's help with setting up the pool, it was a great experience. Unfortunately the pool was completed late in the season but we're trying to get as much use out of it. We're so happy with it!!! Thanks again for an amazing job.

From start to finish The Pool Boss was great to work with. We had a big and complicated project and each step along the way Chris and his team kept us informed and hit deadlines. After finally purchasing our “forever home” and completing all of our interior work, the only project that remained was installing our in-ground pool. We had several pool companies come in for estimates, but after one meeting with Chris A. from The Pool Boss, we knew he was the right man for the job! Chris thoroughly outlined and explained all of the considerations and implications, leaving no detail uncovered. He was patient and responsive as we waivered back and forth on several of the details, offering suggestions and recommendations to help ensure the execution met our intention. Once settled in on all of the details, the team began work quickly and efficiently. Chris went the extra mile to research with the town a rumored potential issue (car buried in an abandoned in-ground pool in the yard), and when he inevitably found that the rumors were true, he quickly recommended and carried out a plan to address as if it were your standard, run-of-the-mill occurrence. While many companies will cash that final check upon completion and you will never hear from them again, The Pool Boss has remained in contact ever since completing the project. Any time there has been any kind of issue whatsoever (LED bulb issues, filter problems, liner hole), Terry, Joanna, and the team spring into action and have never left an issue unresolved. They even donated funds and gift baskets to my son’s baseball team to support their Cooperstown trip!! A truly high-class organization and wonderful group of people! Fully recommend!!!

Pool Boss is the real deal!! Our backyard was an updated renovation and they totally delivered! Chris and his team are very professional yet down to earth to deal with. From his design guy Mike to his hardscape team Lopes and Sons, they were in constant contact with us and moved our project along seamlessly. They executed our backyard upgrade better than we even imagined it and were always willing too listen to our input and make any adjustments along the way that we requested. Now that we're dealing with this crazy pandemic we couldn't be happier to have our amazing backyard retreat to relax and spend our days and night in!

Communication with the Pool Boos was also exceptional- we always knew when they'd be arriving to work. The pool went up quick and the quality of work excellent! Purchasing a pool isn’t easy. There are a ton of decisions that need to be made about size, depth, shape, stone, color, finishes, grade, landscaping, etc. After going back and forth for a year we decided to have our pool done this summer. We trolled review sites for days and landed on 3 pool contractors. After meeting and talking to all of them, hands down, Chris from The Pool Boss was the most knowledgeable about the latest trends, technology and designs. It was clear to us that he takes great pride in what he does and makes it a point to deliver a superior product. From start to finish the process was efficient and transparent. We had a ton of questions about our pool and our overall yard design. Not only was Chris patient, communicative and very helpful but he went a step further and put together an actual design that incorporated all of the features we wanted in our yard. He recommended stone manufacturers to complement our more modern design choices and spent time in our yard with us laying everything out. The install crews are all business, they show up, smile, say hello and go right to work. Joanna in the office is also extremely helpful and would reply to emails and phone calls quickly. The Pool Boss is very good at communicating, setting expectations, explaining the process and meeting schedules. And most importantly when they said someone would show up, they did. Chris and team, my hats off to all of you for mastering the process and exceeding expectations.

This year we undertook a number of home improvements and of all the contractors we dealt with The Pool Boss was the most professional and responsive. Like with any project we have come across issues, but The Pool Boss continues to work with me to get them resolved. 1. Our pool cleaning robot, kept getting stuck on our drain covers, so The Pool Boss gave us special drain covers so the robot stopped getting stuck. 2. I have a salt water pool and the chlorine generator (a Hayward Aqua Rite) shows an incorrect reading. The Pool Boss has sent a technician twice to try and fix it and has now put me in direct contact with a Hayward Rep who is trying to resolve the problem. This issue is still ongoing, but The Pool Boss continually calls me and sends me emails ensuring that they stay on top of the issue ... I hope to post a resolution shortly. This is the first time we have had a salt water pool and The Pool Boss has been patient with all the silly questions that I ask them and helped me through the process. For initial set up, they sent a technician around to teach me how to use the equipment. I did not grasp all the functions the first time around, so they then sent another technician to give me another tutorial free of charge. In general I think the service they offered was excellent and at no point did I think they were trying to up-sell me or charge me for extras. I would highly recommend them to anyone who wants to install an in-ground pool.

Get a pool they said - it'll be great they said. They were RIGHT. Chris and his team at the Pool Boss are nothing but the MOST PROFESSIONAL, KIND, RESPECTFUL group of people I have ever come across. We got quotes from FOUR pool companies, recommended by friends and family alike. We chose the Pool Boss because we believe he had no hidden costs or fees. When comparing the companies and calling back and asking - what about soil removal? Plumbing? Electric work? All we heard from the other companies was... oh, I forgot... that's extra. NOT with the Pool Boss. Everything was spelled out IN WRITING from day one. Our amazing oasis is completely installed and ready for inspection and there were no additional "surprises"! I challenge you to find another company that works with such integrity!! You're still reading? GREAT!! The ladies in the office - Joanna and Lauren - have you ever had to deal with your town on a project? I have never had the pleasure (insert sarcasm). I left town hall crying on more than one occasion... and all it took to calm my fears was one call to the office and everything was handled in an instant. These two fabulous women are the heartbeat of the company for sure. Excavation and soil removal team. On day one of our project... the coolest cats in the biz showed up at our home... EARLY... and went about their task seamlessly. When you have someone fondly nicknamed "Crazy Eddie" with a giant machine in your back yard digging a giant hole, you may worry. Not with these guys. They did minimal (necessary) damage to our property - which is to be expected when hauling 17 full dump trucks of dirt. They dug our pool exactly to specification with razor precision. The men who built the foundation for our pool (Chino and his team) were nothing short of amazing. Working for HOURS nonstop in the blazing July heat - never complaining... it was a sight to behold! I was greeted each day with smiling faces and was kept informed during the process... always knowing what was coming next. The frame arrived and Chino and his crew put together a pool like it was a set of Legos!! Walls went up, were screwed in and we were ready for our liner!! Our liner... Joanna sent us a link to choose our liner. We had our liner all selected - we had a "look" in mind. We showed our choice to Chris and he told us that the liner we chose was not going to work with our vision. He suggested another and showed us completed pools with that liner in place. BOY was he right. Our pool SHIMMERS!! It's GORGEOUS!!! Liner arrives... Chino installs it in 15.2 seconds (perfectly) and 7 seconds after that - the WaterMan arrives. Here is another example of Chris surrounding himself with the best. John and his son arrived with beautiful crystal clear water that was NOT overpriced... just in time for a 100 degree day! Three truckloads later and our pool was full :) James the electrician is now our friend AND we will never use anyone else for electric work in our home. James worked tirelessly to make sure the specifications for our electric to our pool was impeccable. He even calmed down a very cranky (shocker) town inspector... who was complaining about work from a completely different electric contractor that was not up to code. James fixed the shoddy work performed by someone else at no cost. Saved the best for last... DON. The icing on the cake. Don came to show us how to work EVERYTHING on our pool. Entertaining and educational at the same time, I am now a PRO at all things related to our pool. I am not mechanical, but I can take care of my investment with ease, knowing that if I get confused I can hop online for a tutorial or on the phone and get the team of professionals at the Pool Boss to help in an instant.
