We started using Truesdale in April 2013 and Ralph and his team literally transformed our property. This is our first house and although were weren't completely unhappy with the landscaping we inherited, we thought it could look better. Ralph, the owner, has an amazing eye and knew exactly what needed to be done to improve and enhance the property. The process was smooth and seamless from start to finish and Ralph and his staff (Paula, Anthony, Ray, Vince, Andrew, Glenn) are a pleasure to deal with and go above and beyond to make sure the job is done right and the customer is happy - something you don't see very much anymore. Although pricing might seem a little higher than what you've been paying - this is truly a case of you get what you pay for - Ralph's crews are well-trained and Ralph and his team are genuinely knowledgable and very responsive. My only regret is that we didn't find Truesdale sooner!

Everyone that I have dealt with at Truesdale is great! I was a long time customer of their nursery in Berkeley Hts. When my husband and I were ready to do some landscape work at our house they were the 1st I thought to call. Everything was handled professionally and when it was quoted to be done. The plants are beautiful and we have received many complements. We couldn't be happier. Ralph and everyone at Truesdale are wonderful.

I will continue to utilize Truesdale for my landscaping needs, but understand they are a premium priced service provider. They are among the highest price providers in our area. Nonetheless, they are top notch nurserymen and landscape professionals.

Truesdale Landscaping has performed all of my primary home’s landscaping for over 15 years. The total value of work exceeds $150,000 and the work was always done quickly, and the grounds were always immaculate at the end of each work day. I believe Truesdale is a cut above other landscapers I have used in the past. They are quality driven and artistic in their designs.

It took a long time to get the estimate back and then they never followed up on it.

Truesdale Landscaping just recently moved to Plainfield from Berkeley Heights. They have a lovely nursery in town and I was very hopeful that they could provide a quality service. I made an appointment with one of the owners, Ralph and he did show up and recommend a complete lawn renovation and he offered to do a computerized view of what he could do for landscaping. He followed up with an email 2 days later that said he would provide a formal quote and a design within a week, (he had told me initally he would have it in a few days). Ok a week came and went and I emailed him reminding him I would like the quote and asked him some questions on services. He said he would get back to me before end of week (3 or 4 days tops) because he was swamped. The end of the week came and I called and spoke to one of his associates who said Ralph would call me back. A week more and nothing I called last weekend and left a message, no response. They have great reviews and their website looks great. However at this time I cannot recommend a business who is not responsive and ignores a potential client.

Our experience with Truesdale has been excellent from start to finish. We first asked Ralph (owner) to provide us an estimate to do a variety of landscaping last Fall. He was by far the most knowledgeable of all the landscapers we met, giving us advice on each plant in the yard and recommendations beyond the scope of what we were looking to do. We decided to postpone the work to Spring. Spring arrived and we asked Ralph (he remembered us!) for an estimate to clear the corner of our backyard (cutting down a tree, removing a stump and transplanting about 30 plants) and prep it for swing set, inclusive of railroad ties and mulch. His initial estimate was higher than our expectations, but we worked together to reduce it to fit our budget. My wife and I ended up cutting down the tree, removing the stump and transplanting all the plants, while Truesdale re-pitched the entire yard by hand (we had puddling issues in many spots and you couldn't get any machines through our gates). We initially thought we would grow grass, but given how long it would take, we met with Ralph again and he agreed we should install sod. The very next day he installed sod and the yard looks great. The swing set comes in two weeks and the kids will be able to play on it immediately after it's installed. No waiting for grass to grow, no more puddles in the corner, and lots of fun! Ralph met with us four times in total. He was punctual each time and finished the job on time. We have recommended Truesdale to all of our friends and look forward to using his services again in the future.

They do excellent work. They have changed some of their services since we last used them.

They do great work, but they seem to forget about us when we need something done. For example, they told us that there’d no problem with trimming a tree, however, that was several months ago and we still haven’t heard from them. Whenever there are any questions on our bill, we call the office and they fix any problems immediately. I have no problem with the quality of their work!

I’ve been working with them for years, and they’ve been great to work with overall. Anytime I’ve called the office with any concerns, they’ve been responsive. The technicians show up and do their job quickly and efficiently; I don’t interact with them much, but the times that I have, they’ve been nice, professional, honest and knowledgeable. There have been no issues and they’ve done a fine job.

It came in on budget. The estimate was quick. Ralph was right on point. Neat, clean, professional.

The experience has gone very well. They called the day before to remind me of the appointment and showed up early in the morning. They were very neat and did everything that we asked them to do on a timely basis. I talked to the person who was in charge of the cutting, and I let him know in more detail of what I wanted done, which he agreed to do without any problems. So far, we’ve been pleased, but we still are not finished with them; I do intend to use them for involved landscaping, along with masonry work like installing a path.

THEY ARE A BIT PRICEY, BUT THEY ARE VERY PROFESSIONAL. THIS COMPANY KNOWS EXACTLY WHAT THEY ARE DOING. I WOULD RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY TO OTHERS WHO WANT HIGH QUALITY WORK DONE.
