They were horrible. I actually submitted information to the Better Business Bureau. I was so disappointed in the way they handled things. It didn't go anywhere. They were doing our landscaping for years. When we requested a different date, for many different reasons, to cut the grass, they said they would then they kept backing up on that. Finally, they just stopped coming. You talk about unprofessional - oh I was so angry! I grew up in a family business; I know it's not easy dealing with the public. That's what made it very hard for me to give this kind of feedback, but I'm sorry, they were awful.

Both jobs went very well. Before we hired Truesdale the first time, we had contacted about four other landscapers- none of them were interested in a one time job that did not involve a weekly mowing contract. Ralph came out, gave us a reasonable price, and then did a great job. We were so impressed that we did not even consider hiring someone for the next big job that we had. Not only did he do what we asked, but he made a lot of good suggestions, many of which we implemented. He even persuaded my plant loving husband that the 30yr old shrubs that were 15 years past their beauty peak needed to go. Yay Ralph!

We were just happy to have someone actually follow through on this work; we had three or four other landscapers just ghost on us. I guess they were more interested in routine work than a potentially one off job. Ralph and his crew did a good job; it looks much neater now, and we will have a clean slate to play with in the spring.

The service was fine. I did not pay more than the $49 Big Deal. I thought their designs were just okay. I wish they provided more options for me. I would tell family or friends to lay-out that they wanted more options.

Horrible! They are way overpriced. 10x10 property doesn’t cost what they were wanting to charge. They tried to charge me a transportation fee, and diesel gas prices. I would not use nor recommend them. Total ripoff. He knocked down the pricing from $1300 to $800 in 5 minutes, that sounds like a rip off to me.

Lawn maintenance is fine. Lawn looks very good. Landscaping consultation was Ok but not a lot of follow up or consultation regarding the services. To date, we have not hired them for landscaping.

They have been absolutely fantastic and I have been thrilled with them. It is gorgeous and I am going to have them come back next spring to do even more work. I have had a lot landscapers over the years and I have never had someone as good as they are. Their prices are very good. The scheduling has been very good and they are very prompt. They are knowledgeable, courteous, and they get along really well as a team. I can’t rave high enough about them.

I got a few thoughts from the guy but I expected more than what I got. I got a proposal for some work. It took them awhile to get the proposal back to me. It took some time to get it scheduled but it was because of the weather which was not a problem with them.

We ended up going with another vendor. The owner did a fine job. I had no problems with the scheduling and it was easy.

They were pretty good but they only gave me one option for the drainage. They were expensive so I decided to hire someone else to do the job. They got the plans back to me within one week and the timing was good. The worker was professional and courteous.

I have every confidence that Truesdale would do a great job if I decided to move ahead and use them.

My wife and I are very pleased with the work done. It took a a while to get going but once started everything went smoothly. Very professional and responsive.

The most professional approach and overall execution to landscaping, tree trimming, masonry repair, leaf removal and general presentation I have ever experienced - and I have hired a number over the past 35 years. Absolutely organized and led by experienced foreman, the execution reminds me of a military operation. Combined with their upbeat and can-do attitude along with thoughtful recommendations for improvement, Truesdale has my highest recommendation!

The estimates were handed to us after couple of reminders and took longer then the committed dates. I got in touch with them asking them for changes to the initial design but never heard back. I would expect them to be more responsive. I am not sure if it has to do with the coupon used for the estimate

Initially, they were responsive and got back to us quickly for scheduling. The person who came appeared to be polite and professional and arrived when they said they would. We discussed ideas while they were here. However, I don’t recall the technician writing down any details and only took photos of the backyard. I did not feel that it was a thorough discussion. From what I can recall, they said that we would get the design back in about a week, but it took them a couple of weeks. When they emailed the design to us, it was the complete opposite idea of what we had discussed. They did not put anything into the plans that we had discussed and instead placed in things we did not even want in the plans. Things that we had wanted to keep were taken out of the design plan. I have never contacted them back since receiving the design. Overall, it was a very bad experience.

They informed me that they could not honor the deal as they do not work outside of NJ

I believe they got back to me pretty quickly and followed up with me. There were no issues with scheduling. The evaluation included a design and they provided an estimate for landscaping and hardscaping work. I wish I would have been able to get a better picture of the what the design would have looked like based on the design. It turned out fine. We are in the process of getting other estimates.

They seem very knowledgeable. They were prompt and the work turned out well. They were a little more expensive but they did a good job, it was worth it.

Went well. They reserved service for once snow melted. Anthony came, was knowledgeable and friendly. He put together a nice plan of attack for my landscape which I plan to enact when resources are available.

Relatively effortless experience. Emailed a set of initial requirements. Service provider evaluated the property and emailed results. Only negative was two to three weeks between time of evaluation until I received the emailed results when the evaluation was fairly simple. I was expecting to have more details for example suggestions on the type of plants / shrubbery to be on the new landscape.

I have had to call them three times to schedule the work. I called the day I purchased the BIG Deal scheduled the appointment. They called to cancel the appointment and he was sick. I called the next week during nice weather and was told said she wanted him to re-cooperate from the illness and didn’t want him working too hard. I called her again and was told now they are waiting for the snow to melt.

My experience has gone very well so far. We have been communicating over the phone and they have been very responsive and professional. They are scheduled to come out for the evaluation in February.

They came out when they were supposed to. The gentleman who came in was very professional and very knowledgeable, but the estimate that they gave was like ridiculously high so we did not end up using them. The guy who came out here was really nice. He walked around with me and he explained what he was talking about. He had a very clear vision for what he thought would be good looking. If we were going to actually do more work we would consider going back to them.

Design and plant choices were explained and Anthony was very patient with me as I went back and forth about what plants I wanted. The guys showed up when they said and the job was completed in a day and looks wonderful. We also contracted with them to do ongoing landscape bed cleanup and lawn fertilization services. I like that they come around and check the work occasionally and let me know if I need to water or not to water. We planted several trees and many perennials and shrubs before the hot summer so this was helpful.
