The work was completed timely, but many areas needed additional attention and cleanup. . The work was lacking in attention to detail; paint was left on exterior surfaces, driveway, front stoop, hose timer, etc.; foreman was responsive to areas only when we pointed out deficiencies; screws were lost for front storm door; caulk/glazing compound was left/embedded into new driveway

We went with somebody else that was rated higher on Angie's List. It wasn't anything that Rutger's did wrong. They were quick with their quote and they gave competitive pricing. We would consider using them again in the future.

Very professional service from initial meeting to project completion. The crew arrived when they were scheduled were careful and cleaned up at the end of each day. The job was finished on schedule, even though there was a day of rain. I am very pleased with the work and would definitely use Rutgers again.

They had 5-6 people always at the house. Started at 8:00 am and usually finished at 6:00pm. Worked saturdays from 9:00am to after 6:30pm. After they were done, we pointed out some minor issues that had to be addressed like paint on floor of the porch and other issues. Most were addressed. Still have to do some minor clean-up, no big deal. But the house looks great and should last for years!

Great. Prompt for the estimate and the start date for the job. It's noisy and unpleasant having the much of the house sanded (it was overdue when we moved in), but that's not their fault. They sanded under a tarp to keep dust down. Did a great, quick job once the painting started. I would give them all 5's except for one thing - washing the deck splintered the wood in spots, which required them to go over it with sand paper by hand. I think because this was the last part of the job, they rushed a little and some parts of the railing were not sanded very well before they stained. I would call them again. I will probably use them for some interior painting in the next several months.

The job took slightly longer than quoted, but they were very professional about it. The original work did not include the foundation; yet, one of the painter accidentally painted it (wrong color too). But the company agreed to paint the rest on their dime. Good company.
