Description of Work: Never got past the estimate visit. Estimator cancelled twice, then left a message annoyed that I wasn't home when he showed up hours early to the third visit, and on the fourth visit was rude and annoyed that I hadn't been home to accommodate his early drop in. Didn't want to offer advice on the job, only wanted to bad mouth the competition. When I asked how they would handle the windows, he clearly didn't want to do the windows, and told me they were vinyl. I have wood window so when pressed he gave me a price per window $10 higher than the competition. I ended the meeting when he became defensive and rude after I asked for his expertise on the type of paint. He wasted my time and spoiled my mood on a Saturday. I can't imagine working with these people.

Description of Work: Rutgers came in a saved the day for my deck. I had made the mistake of hiring my pest control company to restain/seal the deck (they are expanding their services). They did a terrible job, so I called Rutgers. He gave me a very good price because I had already paid someone else to do the job (he didn't have to do that, but I appreciated it greatly). And when the did the staining, I was impressed. The work was very good, the materials excellent and I am getting two full years out of the effort. I would recommend Rutgers highly and am looking for a bigger job to give them in the coming year.

 + -1 moreThe office staff and the painters were very pleasant as well as professional, courteous, and prompt. They did the work quickly despite a one day delay due to rain. I was pleased with the care they took with my storm windows when they had to be removed to complete the job. Overall I had a great experience with Rutgers Painting. I would use them again and refer them to a friend.
Description of Work: Rutgers Painting stripped off the old paint and put on 2 coats of new paint on my entire house.
