I would like to start off by saying I think Tico's has great customer service. I think it is only one person running the phones but she was great. I never had to re-explain myself to someone new. They were always easy to get a hold of and would return my calls within a few hours. I would pay extra for this service alone in central Jersey. Tico's came out to the property to give a free estimate. I called two others for this work with price ranges around the $450 range. Tico's was able to perform the the work fast. (about a week) Workers were professional and the work looked great.

They did a good job I had no problems at all no leaks no issues. They are great.

Really great service - always on time and cleaned up after themselves each day. Helped us out a lot with our garage flat roof which was behind their remit and outside our initial request. Overall great service, professionally finished and would highly recommend.

Top notch work no issues, this was mostly about replacement of boards that were rotten. It's hard to tell that the boards weren't original after the job was done. He even used the white PVC boards for the base of the columns so that it won't rot again.

They were professional but I’m having a lot of issue with the steps cracking very badly. The steps are cracking to the point where its like their falling apart. I would really advise people to not hire this company.

The first time he came, he installed wooden window sills which he should have installed synthetic window sills. Also he broke cedar shingles and did not replaced them, he left nails pertruding and he applied caulked improperly. The second time he came back, he replaced a board that was not part of the problem. The third time he came back, he installed partial window sills instead of complete.

From beginning to end, it could not have gone any smoother. Hugo, Jorge, Javier, Alfredo and the rest of the entire crew did an incredible job on my house. They showed up exactly when they said they would (literally- on the dot), worked hard the whole day and cleaned the entire place up at the end of each day. Any questions/concerns I had were always explained to me in full detail. My new roof came out looking better than I could have imagined it would. Simply put- if more contractors were as honest as Tico's Carpentry, or performed the level of work they provided....home-ownership would be a lot less stressful!

After Hurricane Sandy, our roof has a 10'x10' area that needed repair. Alex was very helpful in giving us two estimates (whole roof replacement and partial replacement). It took us a long time to get any insurance money for the work, but as soon as we contact him, they came out and promptly finished the work. The price was very fair and they were easy to work with. I will use them again when we are ready to replace the roof.

All in all process went very well. Prompt and professional. Job was done in expected time frame.

For all the many obstacles Ticos dealt with during the install, Jorge and his staff did a stellar job with the install. Some of the obstacles included a wall that was not "true, drywall that was wavy, and finished wood panels from Dayoris that shipped to us warped (we didnt know at the time of install). They worked around them with perfection and paid particular attention to our needs as a customer. I would definitely recommend/use them again. This work was done @ a place of business and not a home address.

Excellent work and replaced a decorative shingle at no charge on the spot. We will be calling them again for other work. Not exactly sure of date of service.

Ticos was extremely responsive and professional from the moment I began communicating with them. As the project moved from estimate to installation to completion, there were no surprises and it was a very pleasurable experience. I would definitely use them for future projects.

This was a small Job but the provider carried out the job with professionalism. They were reliable and provided exactly the services that we agreed upon. The leaking roof was patched , and covered with TAR in a very timely manner. The price was the best of all the quotes I received. I certainly will use them again and will also recommend their service to friends and associates, CB .

They were very responsive and did a good job. When I was unhappy with some of the wood they removed it and put new ones.

We reached out to about six different roofers. Some did not fix Yankee gutters, some did not return our calls. Tico's Hugo Quevedo showed up promptly at the agreed upon time for the estimate. He was the only person to climb on the roof to view the job close up. This made us feel extremely confident and that perhaps we had finally found the right firm. We received a call the night before the work was scheduled to alert us that they would be late due to an unforeseen circumstance. It wasn't a material scheduling change but we appreciated the consideration and professionalism. The job was completed in one day and there was no trace of any roofing debris when they left. Overall we were very satisfied with the price, the workmanship, and the service. Tico's office staff is very helpful too. They are very focused on customer satisfaction. Especially if you have an older home or perhaps a more complicated repair, save time and call Tico's Carpentry & Roofing first.

I called Ticos on July 16 and sent an email with photos of what I wanted to have built. They never got back to me with any information or price on my project.

They replaced around 30 cedar shake shingles and one fascia board that were damaged by woodpeckers around the entire house. They were responsive with the quote and showed up to perform the work on time. The workers were professional and even addressed additional damaged areas without question. I've used Ticos before and am satisfied with their work and professionalism. On the downside, they are a bit pricier than others but at least they have a good track record with me.

These guys were Exceptional. They replaced the roof down to the plywood and put the appropriate protection around the chimney and roof windows. They were very professional in their approach and the way they dealt with the matter. They took the time to show us all the options that were available to us to deal with the problem we had. They also checked up on us after the job was completed to see if we were satisfied with the work.

He was a top shelf guy. He gave us a good quote. He was there on time. It was a good experience but the numbers were a little higher than some of the other competitors. He was professional and gave us a good review of everything.

I have used them for repairs in my house. They were excellent every time I used them. They were prompt and they cleaned up. They were always courteous. They did exactly what they said they were going to do and within the timeframe. The price was in line with the other contractors, but it was fair.
